Alteration Analysis of Normal Human Brain Metabolites with Variation of SENSE and NEX in 3T Multi Voxel Spectroscopy (3T Multi Voxel Spectroscopy에서 SENSE와 NEX 변화에 따른 정상인 뇌 대사물질 변화 분석)

  • To evaluate the metabolic changes in normal adult brains due to alterations SENSE and NEX (number of excitation) by multi voxel MR Spectroscopy at 3.0 Tesla. The study group was composed of normal volunteers (5 men and 8 women) with a mean ($\pm$ standard deviation) age of 41 (${\pm}11.65$). Their ages ranged from 28 to 61 years. MR Spectroscopy was performed with a 3.0T Achieva Release Version 2.0 (Philips Medical System-Netherlands). The 8 channel head coil was employed for MRS acquisition. The 13 volunteers underwent multi voxel spectroscopy (MVS) and single voxel spectroscopy (SVS) on the thalamus area with normally gray matter. Spectral parameters were as follows: 15 mm of thickness; 230 mm of FOV (field of view); 2000 msecs of repetition time (TR); 288 msecs of echo time (TE); $110{\times}110$ mm of VOI (view of interest); $15{\times}15{\times}15$ mm of voxel size. Multi voxel spectral parameters were made using specially in alteration of SENSE factor (1~3) and 1~2 of NEX. All MRS data were processed by the jMRUI 3.0 Version. There was no significant difference in NAA/Cr and Cho/Cr ratio between MVS and SVS likewise the previous results by Ross and coworkers in 1994. In addition, despite the alterations of SENSE factor and NEX in MVS, the metabolite ratios were not changed (F-value : 1.37, D.F : 3, P-value : 0.262). However, line-width of NAA peak in MVS was 3 times bigger than that in SVS. In the present study, we demonstrated that the alterations of SENSE factor and NEX were not critically affective to the result of metabolic ratios in the normal brain tissue.

Usefulness of Gated RapidArc Radiation Therapy Patient evaluation and applied with the Amplitude mode (호흡 동조 체적 세기조절 회전 방사선치료의 유용성 평가와 진폭모드를 이용한 환자적용)

  • Purpose : This study has already started commercial Gated RapidArc automation equipment which was not previously in the Gated radiation therapy can be performed simultaneously with the VMAT Gated RapidArc radiation therapy to the accuracy of the analysis to evaluate the usability, Amplitude mode applied to the patient. Materials and Methods : The analysis of the distribution of radiation dose equivalent quality solid water phantom and GafChromic film was used Film QA film analysis program using the Gamma factor (3%, 3 mm). A Clinical Study on the Therapeutic Effects of the Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser on Dentinal Hypersensitivity (상아질지각과민증에 대한 펄스형 Nd: YAG 레이저의 치료효과에 관한 임상적 연구)

  • 저자는 치과용 레이저를 이용한 상아질지각과민증 치료효과를 임상적으로 평가하고자 상아질지각과민증환자 24명을 대상으로 각 환자마다 상아질 지각과민 치아 중 레이저로 치료 할 치아1개(실험군)와 치료하지 않을 치아 1개(대조군)를 선정하여, 치과용 air-syringe에 의한 냉자극과 치과용 탐침자에 의한 기계적 자극을 가한 후 Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)을 통해 지각과민증 정도를 평가하였으며, 이후 실험군 치아의 치경부 마모면에 광섬유 레이저에너지 전달방식의 펄스형 Nd:YAG 레이저의 일종인 Sunlase Master(Sunrise Technologies Inc., U.S.A., 파장 1064nm, 펄스지속시간 120(sec, 광섬유직경 320(m)를 사용하여, 0.3-1.0W, 10Hz 조건으로 환자의 반응에 따라 1회2분을 초과하지 않는 범위 내에서 비접촉식과 접촉식을 병행하여 3회에 걸쳐(초진 당일, 1일후, 3일후) 레이저를 조사한 후 처음조사 직후, 그리고 초진 1일후, 3일후, 7일후, 14일후 VAS를 채득하여 조사전과 비교, 분석, 평가하였던 바, 상아질 지각과민증이 각각 약 50%, 약36%, 약45%, 약 53% 감소하였으나 (p(0.05) 경시적으로는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그리고 24명중 9명에 대해서는 초진 30일 후 까지 레이저조사치료효과를 평가하였던 바, 상아질지각과민증이 처음조사 직후, 감소하였으며 (p(0.05)역시 경시적으로는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 초진 30일 후 상아질지각과민증이 초진 14일 후에 비해 약간 증가되는 경향을 보여, 레이저조사 치료효과가 약화되는 경향인지 여부에 대해 향후 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.안되었다.기란 현실적으로 불가능하므로, 본 연구에서는 이러한 제약점을 극복할 수 있는 근사적인 지체시간을 계산하는 방법을 제시한 점에서 의미를 갖을 수 있다.수들은 직업의 선택이나 소득을 예측하기 위한 요소들로 포함될 수 없었다. 따라서 후속연구에서는 이를 보완해야 할 것이며, 최근 들어 우리 나라에서도 재택근무에 대한 관심이 대두되고 있으나 아직 개념정의나 그 중요성과 가치, 그리고 실태 파악과 같은 연구가 활발히 이루어지지 못하고 있으므로 이에 대한 심층적인 연구가 행해져야 할 것이다.d similar flower proceeding dates in all branches. but "Daepung" showed similar flower proceeding dates in all branches.est in HB. Convergence awareness of basic emergency treatment by private ambulance drivers (민간구급차 운전자의 기본 응급처치 지식에 관한 융복합적 의식조사)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the awareness of basic emergency care by private ambulance drivers. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 300 private ambulance drivers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon from February 20 to April 1, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of basic life support related airway management(3 items), respiratory management(9 items), circulation(4 items), consciousness(4 items), and infection control(3 items). The awareness of infection control accounted for 87% and emergency care including airway, breathing, consciousness, and respiration was 60%. The knowledge of emergency care was 15.20(maximum 23.0 points). Consciousness was 2.55(maximum 4.0), airway management was 2.08(maximum 3.0), respiration was 5.35(maximum 9.0), circulation was 2.56(maximum 4.0), and infection control was 2.64(maximum 4.0). In order to improve the quality of private ambulance drivers, it is important to develop the emergency care program and expansion.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to report the real geometry of Resident's ridge doing in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction Materials and Methods: From Jan 2007 to Aug 2007, 48 cases which had normal distal femoral condyle analyzed with Multidetector-Row Computed Tomography. Resident's ridge was defined as change of height above 1 mm in lateral wall of intercondylar notch. Anterior-posterior length of intercondylar notch, length and height of Resident's ridge, distance of Resident's ridge from posterior cortex were estimated with 3-D reconstruction using $Lucion^{(R)}$ program. Results: Cases were $59{\pm}16$ years olds and male was 16 cases, female was 32 cases. 9 cases had no Resident's ridge, anterior-posterior length of intercondylar notch was $25.4{\pm}3.5$ mm, average of length and height of the Resident's ridge was $8.2{\pm}2.6,\;3.5{\pm}1.5$ mm. Distance of the Resident's ridge from posterior cortex was $7.6{\pm}2.6$ mm. Conclusion: Resident's ridge was used as landmark in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, which presented in many cases and which had distinct length and height.

Effects of Interpersonal Relationship, Self Differentiation on College Adjustment in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 대인관계능력, 자아분화가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of interpersonal relationship, self differentiation and adjustment to college life as well as to identify the factors influencing the adjustment to college life in nursing students. The study was conducted on 185 nursing students in D and S Province and from November 15th to December 5th 2016. The data was analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and Multiple regression. The mean score of the adjustment to college life was $3.30({\pm}0.49)$ and the interpersonal relationship was $3.73({\pm}0.41)$ and self differentiation was $3.07({\pm}0.32)$. There were positive correlations between adjustment to college life and interpersonal relationship(r=.614, p<.001) and self differentiation((r=.264, p<.001). Significant factors influencing adjustment to college life were interpersonal relationship, self differentiation which explained 39% of adjustment to college life. Based on these findings, programs that develop interpersonal relationship and self differentiation are necessary for college nursing students in order to promote college adjustment.

Evaluation on Hearing Conservation Program in the Noisy Industries (소음발생 산업장에서의 청력보존프로그램 평가)

  • This study was performed to assist the employer to establish the effective program for hearing conservation of noisy industry. The study subjects were health care managers of an industry and the study industries were devided into two groups(Group I, 37 industries; have the workers diagnosed as noise-induced hearing loss, Group II, 41 industries; not have the workers diagnosed as noise-induced hearing loss) and the question method carried out through the face to face interview. The contents of questionnaire for OSHA's hearing conservation program(HCP) consisted of seven components: 5 questions of monitoring of employee noise exposures(component 1), 6 questions of the institution of engineering, work practice, and administrative controls for excessive noise(component 2), 8 questions of the provision of each overexposed employee with an individually fitted hearing protector with an adequate noise reduction rating(component 3), 14 questions of employee training and education regarding noise hazards and protection measures(component 4), 9 questions of baseline and annual audiometry(component 5), 3 questions of procedures for preventing further occupational hearning loss by an employee whenever such an event has been identified(component 6), and 1 question of recording keeping(component 7), thus total numbers of questions was 46. The numbers of statistially significant difference(p<0.05) between two groups were 2(25.0%) among 8 questions of component 3, 10(71.4%) among 14 questions of component 4, 3(33.3%) among 8 questions of component 5, 2(6.7%) among 3 questions of component 6, and 17(37.0%) among total 46 questions of questionnaire. Above results showed that the level of HCP acceptance in group I was lower than in group II. Thus employer's understanding about HCP should be precede for the effective hearing conservation program of employee and the adequate hearing protector, training and education, baseline and annual audiometry, and procedures for preventing further occupational hearning loss for hearing conservation would be more emphasized.

Development and Validation of 25~36 Months Old Infant's Happiness Scale for Teachers (교사용 25~36개월 영아 행복감 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify factors of 25~36 months old infant's happiness and to develop a scale to measure infant happiness. The subjects were 250 infants aged 25~36 months. The results of this study are as follows: First, the components and items of infant's happiness scale selected through the literature, the previous measurement tool, and the focus group interview were 8 components and 29 items. The items were composed of 4 items of problem behavior, 4 items of achievement through immersion, 4 items of relationship with friends, 4 items of relationship with teacher, 3 items of physical environment, 4 items of positive emotion, 3 items of negative emotion, and 3 items of health. Second, as a result of validation of validity for infant's happiness scale, the item fit was confirmed with CFI=0.89, TLI=0.88, and RMR=0.05. Also, the construct validity was confirmed with convergent validity and discriminant validity. The concurrent validity was significantly correlated with the components of the previously developed measurement tools, and the reliability was appeared with 0.71-0.89. The infant's happiness scale developed in this study ensured reliability and validity as a measurement to measure infant happiness. Therefore, this scale is expected to be used as a major test tool to develope and verify a program for promoting infant happiness.

Effect of digital competence on scan time and scan error in intraoral scanning (디지털 역량이 구강스캐너의 스캔 시간 및 스캔 오차에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to test whether the digital competence of dental hygienists can affect their intraoral scanning potential in terms of scan time and error. Methods: Dental hygienists and dental hygiene students who had never used an intraoral scanner were surveyed to determine their digital competence. Individual data collected using an intraoral scanner was compared with reference data collected using a model scanner to identify scanning errors, and participants' scanning times were measured. Results: A significant decrease in scanning time was observed as the overall level of digital competence increased. The increase in digital skills and digital knowledge led to a decrease in scanning time by 3.73 and 3.98 minutes, respectively. Conclusions: This study found that digital competence was associated with reduced scan times, but less so with scan errors. This may be due to recent advances in scanning software, and future studies may need to develop a digital competence assessment tool that is more appropriate for the dental field.

Analysis on the Positional Accuracy of the Non-orthogonal Two-pair kV Imaging Systems for Real-time Tumor Tracking Using XCAT (XCAT를 이용한 실시간 종양 위치 추적을 위한 비직교 스테레오 엑스선 영상시스템에서의 위치 추정 정확도 분석에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we aim to design the architecture of the kV imaging system for tumor tracking in the dual-head gantry system and analyze its accuracy by simulations. We established mathematical formulas and algorithms to track the tumor position with the two-pair kV imaging systems when they are in the non-orthogonal positions. The algorithms have been designed in the homogeneous coordinate framework and the position of the source and the detector coordinates are used to estimate the tumor position. 4D XCAT (4D extended cardiac-torso) software was used in the simulation to identify the influence of the angle between the two-pair kV imaging systems and the resolution of the detectors to the accuracy in the position estimation. A metal marker fiducial has been inserted in a numerical human phantom of XCAT and the kV projections were acquired at various angles and resolutions using CT projection software of the XCAT. As a result, a positional accuracy of less than about 1mm was achieved when the resolution of the detector is higher than 1.5 mm/pixel and the angle between the kV imaging systems is approximately between $90^{\circ}$ and $50^{\circ}$. When the resolution is lower than 1.5 mm/pixel, the positional errors were higher than 1mm and the error fluctuation by the angles was greater. The resolution of the detector was critical in the positional accuracy for the tumor tracking and determines the range for the acceptable angle range between the kV imaging systems. Also, we found that the positional accuracy analysis method using XCAT developed in this study is highly useful and will be a invaluable tool for further refined design of the kV imaging systems for tumor tracking systems.
