The piezoelectric and dielectric properties of $MnO_2$ doped $0.36Pb(Sc_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_{3}-0.25Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-0.39PbTiO_3$ ceramics ($MnO_2$가 첨가된 0.36PSN-0.25PNN-0.39PT세라믹스의 유전 및 압전특성)

  • High power piezoelectric materials are presently being extensively developed for applications such as ultrasonic motors and piezoelectric transformer In this study, the piezoelectric and dielectric properties of $MnO_2$ doped $0.36Pb(Sc_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_{3}-0.25Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-0.39PbTiO_3$ (hereafter PSNNT), which is the morphotropic phase boundary composition of the PSN-PNN-PT system were investigated. $MnO_2$-addition into the $0.36Pb(Sc_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_{3}-0.25Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-0.39PbTiO_3$ composition increases the piezoelectric coefficient up to $k_{p}{\fallingdotseq}$55.6[%] and $Q_{m}{\fallingdotseq}$252. Moreover, $MnO_2$ addition makes tetragonal phase more stable with respect to rhombohedral phase.

  • With the proliferation of nonlinear loads such as lighting facilities in all modern society high neutral harmonic currents have been observed. High neutral currents in three- phase four-wire distribution systems can cause lots of harmonic problems. The most common solution of neutral harmonic currents reduction is a zero phase sequence filter using zig-zag transformer. This paper analyzes a commercially available neutral line zero sequence currents reduction device and applies the equipment to lighting loads for eliminating harmonics. Experimental results are compared numerically and graphically with simulation results through the use of MATLAB.

  • In this paper, a design and fabrication of miniaturized 5.3 GHz reflection type $360^{\circ}$ analog phase shifter with branch line coupler and $360^{\circ}$ variable reactance load. In order to miniaturize phase shifter, novel branch line coupler is proposed. The novel branch line coupler is miniaturized using transformation of transmission line to T and ${\pi}$ type equivalent circuit. The miniaturized branch line coupler has small size of above 50 % compared with conventional branch line coupler. For wide phase shift range, $360^{\circ}$ variable reactance load structure is adopted. Especially, the structure was improved for linear phase shift by adding transmission line which acts as an impedance transformer. The improved structure was miniaturized using the equivalent lumped-element of transmission line. The fabricated phase shifter with $15{\times}15mm^2$ shows wide phase shift of above $480^{\circ}$, the insertion loss of -4~-6 dB and the reflection loss of below -20 dB at 5.3 GHz under 0~10 V control voltage range.

  • Now, in this paper, going to present you with an Idea related to a new inverter of multi-step voltage source, that Is, the double-connected 12-step inverter with an auxiliary circuit. It possibly can be 24-step inverter with 3-phase voltage source which will enable us make full application even to medium and high power-level Motor drive, UPS, STATCOM, SVC, etc. in which the PWM method could not be employed. 24-step operation can be obtained from the link between the existing 12-step inverter and the additional auxiliary circuit in which the transformer of auxiliary circuit generates ripple voltage delivered to the inverter. Through a lot of experiments and simulations, (from which the validity of this scheme is confirmed,) we came to the conclusion that the increase of the primary winding number on transformer by 2N(N=1,2,3....) leads to the 12M-step(M=2,3,4...) inverter. The validity of the proposed scheme is confirmed by the simulated and experimental results.

  • 변압기 기계적 손상의 주요 원인은 단락전류에 의해 발생하는 전자기력이다. 상용 변압기는 특정 수준의 기계적 강도를 견디게 설계 되어야 하며 단락전류에 의한 변압기 특성 변화를 검증하기 위한 단락성능시험은 국제 표준에 따라 시행되어야 한다. ITER CS 3상 정류기 변압기의 단락시험은 IEC 표준에 따라 전기연구원에서 시행되었으며 그 결과를 본 논문에서 소개하고자 한다.

  • The most electrical apparatus should be able to withstand short-time current and peak current during a specified short time until circuit breakers have interrupted fault current. It defines the short-time withstand ability of electric a apparatus to be remain for a time interval under high fault current conditions. It is specified by both dynamic ability and thermal capability. KERI(Korea Electrotechlology Research Institute) recently constructed the new short-time current and low voltage short circuit testing facilities. This paper shows short- circuit calculation of transformer and describes high current measuring system, and evaluate the result of short-time withstand test used in $3{\phi}$ 90MVA short-time current testing facilities.

  • 분산전원 연계기준에 따라 변압기 1차 중성점을 접지운전시 Y-Y-3Limb, $Y-{\Delta}$결선방식은 비대칭 계통전압에 의해 순환전류가 발생된다. 이러한 순환전류는 상별 전류에 영향을 주어 보호계전기 오동작 및 전력량계 오차를 발생시킨다. 따라서 순환전류로 인한 전력계산의 문제를 해결하기 위해 신동파워이론을 만들었다. 본 이론의 핵심은 비대칭 3상 전압과 변압기 결선 및 구조에 의해 발생되는 영상 임피던스(R+jX) 해석을 통해 중성선의 순환전류를 계산하였다. 따라서 정확한 전력계산을 위해 순환전류에 의해 발생되는 상별전류를 보정하는 새로운 이론을 소개 하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 3상 저주파 변압기를 이용한 절연형 멀티레벨 인버터를 위한 새로운 공간 벡터 제어 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 제어 방식은 기존의 미리 계산된 표를 이용한 방식이 아닌 완전히 프로그래밍에 의한 방식으로 구현 시간은 기존 방식에 비해 늘이지 않으며, 확장성이 용의하다는 장점이 있다. 제안된 제어 방식을 공통암을 이용한 3상 IHCML 인버터에 적용하였으며, Matlab을 이용한 시뮬레이션 및 실험실 차원의 인버터 제작을 통하여 제안한 방식의 타당성을 검증 하였다.

  • This paper discussed a transformer-less shunt static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) with consideration of the following aspects: fast compensation of the reactive power, harmonic cancelation and reducing the unbalancing of the 3-phase source side currents. The STATCOM control algorithm is based on the theory of instantaneous reactive power (P-Q theory). A self charging technique is proposed to regulate the dc capacitor voltage at a desired level with the use of a PI controller. In order to regulate the DC link voltage, an off-line Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used to tune the coefficients of the PI controller. This algorithm arranged these coefficients while considering the importance of three factors in the DC link voltage response: overshoot, settling time and rising time. For this investigation, the entire system including the STATCOM, network, harmonics and unbalancing load are simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK. After that, a 35KVA STATCOM laboratory setup test including two parallel converter modules is designed and the control algorithm is executed on a TMS320F2812 controller platform.

  • Multiphase dc-dc converters are widely used in modern power electronics applications due to their advantages over single-phase converters. Such advantages include reduced current stress in both the switching devices and passive elements, reduced output current ripple, and so on. Although the output current ripple of a converter can be significantly reduced by virtue of the interleaving effect, the inductor current ripple cannot be reduced even with the interleaving PWM method. One way to solve this problem is to use a coupled inductor. However, care must be taken in designing the coupled inductor to maximize its performances. In this paper, a detailed analysis of a coupled inductor is conducted and the effect of a coupled inductor on current ripple reduction is investigated extensively. From this analysis, a UU core based coupled inductor structure is proposed to maximize the performance of the coupled inductor.
