  • This study is that STEP based Data Repository of APR1400 Nuclear Power Plant Reactor Coolant System is developed. The STEP based Data Repository is accessed by Web-based and an attribute data of Reactor Coolant System Equipment is offered. Also, a P&ID drawing file & 3D CAD Model of Reactor Coolant System is loaded. The P&ID drawing file of Reactor Coolant System Equipment Model is connected with 3D CAD Model file. This 2D/3D CAD Model connected Prototype system confirms a real layout of Reactor Coolant System.

Digital Watermarking for Three-Dimensional Polygonal Mesh Models in the DCT Framework (DCT영역에서 3차원 다각형 메쉬 모델의 디지헐 워터마킹 방법)

  • Most watermarking techniques insert watermarks into transform coefficients in the frequency domain because we can consider robust or imperceptible frequency bands against malicious attacks to remove them. However, parameterization of 3-D data is not easy because of irregular attribution of connectivity information, while 1-I) or 2-D data is regular. In this paper we propose a new watermarking scheme for 3-D polygonal mesh models in the DCT domain. After we generate triangle strips by traversing the 3-D model and transform its vertex coordinates into the DCT domain, watermark signals are inserted into mid-frequency bands of AC coefficients for robustness and imperceptibility. We demonstrate that our scheme is robust against additive random noise, the affine transformation, and geometry compression by the MPEG-4 SNHC standard.

  • Most of data objects in the real world have spatial and temporal information simultaneously. One of the objectives of spatiotemporal databases is to provide a very expressive framework for spatiotemporal database applications. The object oriented spatiotemporal model can manage spatiotemporal data efficiently because the model is able to store the complete history of any objects. Therefore, in order to handle the spatiotemporal data in object oriented fashion, we proposed a low dimensional spatiotemporal model in the object oriented fashion that extended dimensionally two dimensional spatial model of OpenGIS to fit into the real world information and to include temporal information. In order to proof the proposed model, we design a data provider component which consists of the data source, the session, the command, and the rowset component, and implement it. The proposed four dimensional spatiotemporal data model and provider in the object oriented fashion can be used to store, retrieve and manage the object oriented spatiotemporal data.

Effective Multi-Modal Feature Fusion for 3D Semantic Segmentation with Multi-View Images (멀티-뷰 영상들을 활용하는 3차원 의미적 분할을 위한 효과적인 멀티-모달 특징 융합)

  • 3D point cloud semantic segmentation is a computer vision task that involves dividing the point cloud into different objects and regions by predicting the class label of each point. Existing 3D semantic segmentation models have some limitations in performing sufficient fusion of multi-modal features while ensuring both characteristics of 2D visual features extracted from RGB images and 3D geometric features extracted from point cloud. Therefore, in this paper, we propose MMCA-Net, a novel 3D semantic segmentation model using 2D-3D multi-modal features. The proposed model effectively fuses two heterogeneous 2D visual features and 3D geometric features by using an intermediate fusion strategy and a multi-modal cross attention-based fusion operation. Also, the proposed model extracts context-rich 3D geometric features from input point cloud consisting of irregularly distributed points by adopting PTv2 as 3D geometric encoder. In this paper, we conducted both quantitative and qualitative experiments with the benchmark dataset, ScanNetv2 in order to analyze the performance of the proposed model. In terms of the metric mIoU, the proposed model showed a 9.2% performance improvement over the PTv2 model using only 3D geometric features, and a 12.12% performance improvement over the MVPNet model using 2D-3D multi-modal features. As a result, we proved the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed model.

  • 조립 부품 이미지에 해당하는 3D CAD 모델 매칭 기술은 최근 로봇 조립 기술의 발전으로 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이미지 기반 3 차원 모델 매칭 연구는 진행되어 왔지만 가구 부품 이미지와는 특성이 다른 RGB[5] 이미지나 스케치 이미지를 다루는[1] 접근들이었다. 딥러닝을 사용하는 스케치 이미지 기반 3 차원 물제 검색 연구에서는 대부분 3 차원 이미지를 다각도에서 렌더링한 view 이미지들에서 feature를 추출하고 pooling 하여 하나의 feature를 출력한다. 그러나 기존의 view pooling 방식은 단순한 평균 방식으로, 부품 이미지에 따른 view를 반영하기에는 한계가 있었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 조립 부품 이미지 기반 3 차원 물체 검색을 위해 query 부품 이미지에 따라 다른 view 이미지에 집중할 수 있는 방식의 attentional view pooling을 제안한다. 또한 조립 부품 데이터의 특성 상 class 당 CAD 모델이 하나인 상황이므로 학습 데이터가 터무니없이 부족하여 이를 해결하기 위한 학습 데이터 증강 방법을 제안한다. 실험은 의자 부품 11가지에 대해 진행하였고 이를 통해 제안하는 방식의 성능을 입증하였다.

  • 다양한 과학 분야와 공학 분야에서는 그들이 다루고 있는 특정한 주제의 정보를 좀 더 신속하고, 명확하게 사용자에게 전달하기 위해서 여러 가지 정보가시화(information visualization) 기법을 사용한다. 정보를 가시화 할 때는 기본적으로 세 가지 과정을 거치는데, 원천 데이터(raw data)로부터 데이터 모델(data model)로 변환하고, 변환된 데이터 모델을 가시화 구조상(visual structure)에 매핑(mapping)시킨 후 정보화 모델(information model)로 변환하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 특정 행사가 진행되고 있는 건물내부에서 발생하는 시간, 공간적인 정보를 정리한 도표 메타포(metaphor)를 토대로, 해당 데이터 모델로부터 추출한 다양한 정보를 3차원 지도로 구성된 정보화 모델 상에 반영하기 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 또한, 정보를 단순히 공간상에 반영하기 보다는 사용자의 관심영역(interest area)에 따른 정보의 공간적 의미에 중점을 두어 3차원 공간상에 표현하였다.

Defect Severity-based Dimension Reduction Model using PCA (PCA를 적용한 결함 심각도 기반 차원 축소 모델)

  • Software dimension reduction identifies the commonality of elements and extracts important feature elements. So it reduces complexity by simplify and solves multi-collinearity problems. And it reduces redundancy by performing redundancy and noise detection. In this study, we proposed defect severity-based dimension reduction model. Proposed model is applied defect severity-based NASA dataset. And it is verified the number of dimensions in the column that affect the severity of the defect. Then it is compares and analyzes the dimensions of the data before and after reduction. In this study experiment result, the number of dimensions of PC4's dataset is 2 to 3. It was possible to reduce the dimension.

  • In rapidly developing urban areas that include high-rise, large, and complex buildings, indoor and outdoor maps in GIS become a basis for utilizing and sharing information pertaining to various aspects of the real world. Although an indoor mapping has gained much attentions, research efforts are mostly in 2D and 3D modeling of terrain and buildings. Therefore, to facilitate fast and accurate construction of indoor GIS, this paper proposes a semi-automatic method consisting of preprocessing, 2D mapping, and 3D mapping stages. The preprocessing is designed to estimate heights of building interiors and to identify noise data from point clouds. In the 2D mapping, a floor map is extracted with a tracing grid and a refinement method. In the 3D mapping, a 3D wireframe model is created with heights from the preprocessing stage. 3D mesh data converted from noise data is combined with the 3D wireframe model for detail modeling. The proposed method was applied to point clouds depicting a hallway in a building. Experiment results indicate that the proposed method can be utilized to construct 2D and 3D maps for indoor GIS.

Robust 3-D Points Estimation and Tracking with Dynamic Model for Optical Motion Capture (광학식 동작 포착에서 동적 모델을 이용한 신뢰성있는 3-D 좌표 추정 및 추적)

  • 광학식 동작 포착(optical motion capture)시스템에서 신뢰할만한 3차원 좌표의 획득과 마커의 궤적 추적은 매우 중요한 문제이다. 3차원 좌표를 획득하기 이해서는 다중의 카메라로부터 2차원의 데이터 간의 대응관계를 구해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 각 카메라에서의 3차원 마커들 간의 대응관계를 k-partite graph로 모델링하고, 릴렉세이션 알고리즘을 사용하여 고스트가 제거된 신뢰성있는 클릭을 추출한다. 이를 통해 정확하고 안정적인 3차원의 좌표를 생성할 수 있다. 또한 추출된 3차원 마커의 궤적의 추적을 위해 칼만 필터를 사용한 마커의 예측과 데이터 연계 문제의 해결을 위한 전략을 제안하고. 사라진 마커의 궤적을 유지시키기 위해 다이나믹 모델을 사용한 추적 알고리즘을 제시한다.

  • As the progress regarding spatial analysis on features such as landscape, sunlight, shadow, and direct ray using 3D simulation, it is required to research the creation of 3D terrain models crucial for 3D simulations. In this paper, we suggested the methods to create the 3D terrain model for the state after development, by transfer the 2D plan to 3D terrain model using the normal equation. Automated algorithm producing 3D terrain model from 2D plan was developed. And It is expected to be needed more studies detailed.
