  • 폴리이미드/N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone(NMP)계에서 의 상호확산계수를 Vrentas-Duda의 hole free volume 이론을 이용하여 나타내었다. NMP와 폴리이미드의 기초 물성과 그룹기여이론을 이용하여 상호확산계수식 내의 여러 자유부피인자들을 결정할 수 있었으며 폴리이미드가 NMP에 팽윤되는 거동을 실험으로 측정함으로써 지수전확산계수인 D$_{0}$를 구할 수 있었다. 결정된 확산계수식을 이용한 이론적 팽윤거동이 온도에 따른 폴리이미드/NMP 계의 실험적 거동을 잘 묘사함을 알 수 있었다.다.

Dynamic Stereo PIV에 의한 델타형 날개에서의 3차원 와류 유동에 관한 연구 (Three Dimensional Vortex Behavior of LEX Delta Wing by Dynamic Stereo PIV)

  • Leading edge extension(LEX) in a highly swept shape applied to a delta wing features the modern air-fighters. The LEX vortices generated upon the upper surface of the wing at high angle of attack enhance the lift force of the delta wing by way of increased negative suction pressure over the surfaces. The present 3-D stereo PIV includes the Identification of 2-D cross-correlation equation, stereo matching of 2-D velocity vectors of two cameras, accurate calculation of 3-D velocity vectors by homogeneous coordinate system, removal of error vectors by a statistical method followed by a continuity equation criterion and so on. A delta wing model with or without LEX was immersed in a circulating water channel. Two high-resolution, high-speed digital cameras$(1280pixel\times1024pixel)$ were used to allow the time-resolved animation work. The present dynamic stereo PIV represents the complicated vortex behavior, especially, in terms of time-dependent characteristics of the vortices at given measuring sections. Quantities such as three velocity vector components, vorticity and other flow information can be easily visualized via the 3D time-resolved post-processing to make the easy understanding of the LEX effect or vortex emerging and collapse which are important phenomena occurring in the field of delta wing aerodynamics.

2거더 강-콘크리트 합성형 철도교의 거동에 대한 2차부재의 영향 평가 (The Effect of Secondary Members on the Behavior of Steel-Concrete Composite Two-Girder Railway Bridges)

  • Steel -Concrete Composite two girder railway bridges applying high performance steel with extra thick plate have economic and aesthetic advantages due to the simplification of manufacturing and construction process. However, steel bridges are seldom adopted in domestic railway bridge, since steel bridges are not efficient as R.C bridges considering dynamic characteristics and noise, etc. While highway bridges do not have lower horizontal bracing and larger interval of diaphragm cross beam, railway bridges install lower horizontal bracings to control the torsion due to heavy eccentrical line load. Accurate finite element analysis were performed with the parameters of existence of bracing and bracing shape, with the cross beam interval and stiffness, etc. To find out the effects of secondary members such as horizontal bracings and diaphragms, static md dynamic analysis have been performed by using finite element method. In this study, few member plate-girder bridges are analyzed with variable span lengths to examine the dynamic behavior and limits of damping. And though lateral bracings are members against torsion, but lateral bracing's absence is no big problem. Time history analysis using mode superposition method makes proof of this result.

Correlation of Experimental and Analytical Seismic Responses of a 1:5 Scale 3-Story Reinforced Concrete Frame

  • A series of dynamic and static tests were conducted to observe the actual responses of a 1:5 scale 3-story reinforced concrete(RC) frame which was designed only for gravity loads. One of the major objectives of these experiments is to provide the calibration to the available static and dynamic inelastic analysis techniques. In this study, the experimental results were simulated by using a nonlinear analysis program for reinforced concrete frame, IDARC-2D. The evaluation of the degree of the simulation leads to the conclusion that while the global behaviors such as story drifts and shears can be in general simulated with the limited accuracy in the dynamic nonlinear analysis, it is rather easy and simple to get the fairly high level of accuracy in the prediction of global and local behaviors in the static nonlinear analysis by using IDARC-2D.

  • 이산화탄소 포집 및 저장 시스템(CCS, Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage system)의 수송배관에 대한 연속연성파괴(DDF, Dynamic Ductile Fracture)를 연구하기 위하여 Battlle Two Curve법(BTCM)으로 CCS수송배관의 연속연성파괴거동을 해석하여 천연가스 수송배관의 연속연성파괴거동과 비교하였다. 또한, $CO_2$배관에서의 배관두께 및 사용온도에 따른 연속연성파괴 민감도를 분석함으로써 연속연성파괴에 대한 사용기준을 해석하였다. 우리나라 기후조건에 따른 $CO_2$배관두께와 수송압력 사용기준을 분석하였으며, 상온의 경우에는 기존의 천연가스용 배관을 $CO_2$배관으로 사용하기 위해서는 배관두께가 7mm이상이어야 하고 수송압력은 54bar이하이어야 함을 해석하였다.

  • The basic idea of cable-stayed girder bridges is the utilization of high strength cables to provide intermediate supports for the bridge girder so that the girder can span a much longer distance. In the cable-stayed bridge, the cables exhibit nonlinear behavior because of the change in sag, due to the dead weight of the cable, which occurs with changing tension in the cable resulting from the movement of the end points of the cable as the bridge is loaded. Techniques required for the static analysis of cable-stayed bridges has been developed by many researchers. However, little work has been done on the dynamic analysis of such structures. To investigate the characteristics of the dynamic response of long-span cable-stayed bridges due to various dynamic loadings likes moving traffic loads. two different 3-D cable-stayed bridge models are considered in this study. Two models are exactly the same in structural configurations but different in finite element discretization. Modal analysis is conducted using the deformed dead-load tangent stiffness matrix. A new concept was presented by using divided a cable into several elements in order to study the effect of the cable vibration (both in-plane and swinging) on the overall bridge dynamics. The result of this study demonstrates the importance of cable vibration on the overall bridge dynamics.

RGB-Depth 카메라를 활용한 유체 표면의 거동 계측분석 (RGB-Depth Camera for Dynamic Measurement of Liquid Sloshing)

  • 본 논문에서는 건축물 진동저감장치에 적용되는 액체감쇠기 내 유체 자유표면의 동적 거동 계측을 위해 저가형 RGB-depth 센서인 Microsoft사 $Kinect^{(R)}$ v2의 활용과 계측시스템을 구축하는 방법을 제안하였다. $Kinect^{(R)}$ v2의 성능검토 및 실효성 확인, SDK(software development kit)를 사용한 실시간 모니터링, 3D 공간상에서 유체의 표면 정보 취득, 기존 비디오 센싱기법과의 비교를 통해 본 연구에서 제안한 유체의 동적 거동 계측 시스템의 정확성과 우수성을 검증하였다. 제안된 계측시스템을 활용하여 소형 수조 내 액체에 대한 동적 거동 정밀계측을 수행하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 광범위한 가진입력에 대한 유체 자유표면의 동적 거동 특징을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 RGB-depth센서의 건축물 진동저감 적용을 통해 정밀한 모니터링 시스템을 구축하고 최적화된 액체감쇠기의 설계 및 운용을 기대할 수 있다.

NRC 증기압 암석 파쇄제에 의한 PMMA 블록의 동적 파괴 과정에 관한 실험 및 수치해석적 연구 (Experimental and Numerical Study on the Dynamic Fracture Processes of PMMA Block by NRC Vapor Pressure Fracture Agent)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 테르밋 반응으로 결정화된 액체혼합물을 순간적으로 기화시켜, 이에 따라 발생되는 증기압을 이용하여 암석 및 콘크리트를 파쇄시키는 Nonex Rock Cracker(NRC) 암석 파쇄제의 동적 파괴 특성을 분석하고 파괴패턴을 예측할 수 있는 해석기법을 개발하기 위함이다. NRC 암석 파쇄제의 순간적의 증기압 발생 특성을 분석하기 위하여 인공취성재료로 알려진 Polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA) 블록을 대상으로 NRC를 장전하여 파쇄시험을 수행하였다. NRC의 증기압 발생순간을 촬영하기 위하여 초고속 카메라를 활용하였으며, 장약실과 연결된 관측공에 동적압력게이지를 부착하여 장약공 압력-시간이력을 계측하였다. 증기압 암석 파쇄제에 의한 PMMA 블록의 파괴패턴을 모사하기 위하여 2차원 동적 파괴 과정 해석 기법인 2D Dynamic Fracture Process Analysis(2DDFPA)가 활용되었으며, 계측된 장약공 압력-시간이력을 고려한 입사압력함수를 결정하였다. 제안된 해석조건을 활용하여 화강암재료와 고성능 폭약에 의하여 발생될 수 있는 파괴패턴에 대하여 고찰하였다.

Nonlinear behavior of concrete gravity dams and effect of input spatially variation

  • In the present article, effect of non-uniform excitation due to spatially variation of seismic input on nonlinear response of concrete gravity dams is considered. The reservoir is assumed compressible. Isotropic damage mechanics approach is used to model static and dynamic nonlinear behavior of mass concrete in 2D space. The validity of utilized nonlinear model is considered using available theoretical results under static and dynamic conditions. The tallest monolith of Pine Flat dam is selected as a case study. Two cases are analyzed for considering the effect of limited wave propagation velocity on seismic behavior of the dam-reservoir system in which travelling velocities are chosen as 2000 m/s and infinity. It is found that tensile damage in neck and toe regions and also, in the vicinity of the base increase when the system is excited non-uniformly.

  • It is important to predict the collision behavior of a train consist to improve its crashworthiness. To analyze crash behavior of train, four kinds of methods are mainly used so far. The first is method using multibody dynamics to predict the gross motion of the train set. The second uses 3D FE model to apply the section analysis method in order. The third is used to deduce design specification and evaluate the crashworhiness of a train by using 1D model. The last is to constitute 2D model to check overriding and coupling devices. The train evaluation procedures are so complex that it is difficult to understand or deal with. In this study, VTM for railway train was introduced to simplify the procedures. VTM involves 3D models, 1D models and dynamic components such as suspension and coupling. The method using hybrid concept model makes it possible to do all the things that are mentioned above. To analyze crash behavior tendency of VTM, the model was simulated and the simulation results were discussed.
