Nail art, which has been popularized recently, has increased convenience in the direction of nail art design harmonized with clothing and the increased interest and usage of nail art decoration. This study set out to propose practical planar and three-dimensional nail art designs in harmony with modern clothes by applying trimmings common in 18th century women's clothing, which used a variety of attachable decorations. As for the methodology, the investigator examined theories in previous studies, literature, and analyzed the types of trimming in female portraits from the 18th century at the museum at the Palace of Versailles in France. Planar and three-dimensional nail art designs were created for each of the top three trimming types- braids, laces, and ribbons, which were identified through analysis. The study applied the trimmings of the 18th century women's clothes to nail art design and had the following results: First, the top three trimming types were identified based on the analysis of the 18th century portraits. They were then used as motifs in the production of planar and three-dimensional nail art designs. The results show that the motifs of the clothes trimmings were fit for and had practical possibilities for expression in nail art designs. Secondly, diversity and the expansion of ideas in the study of nail art design were promoted. In addition, elements were increased to have mutually complementary effects with clothes. Finally, the study made various attempts at nail design methods by adopting a range of nail art expression techniques including hand painting, 2D & 3D art techniques, and using planar and three-dimensional nail decorations, thus proposing a positive direction for the organization of a curriculum to make use of 18th century women's clothing motifs in nail art education.

The purpose of the study is to find out megatrends and design trend through the analysis of the influential factors on trend and various fields of design trend in the late 20th century. Further, it is to establish database to prospect the design trends of the 21th century by analyzing and estimating the design color trend.

As the nation is moving into the 21st century, the fundamental challenge facing local health departments in the United States is to improve the quality of peoples lives by preventing disease, injury, and disability through collaboration with public and private partners. During this century, life expectancy in the United States has increased remarkably from less than 50 years at the turn of the century to 79 years for woman and 72 years for men (CDC 1999; Bunker et al. 1994). Changing of paradigm at 21Century is changing a part of routine lives and it affects speculation system of recognizing the world. In this society, they would need new circumstance of space by method of work. However, what show not necessity improving of work space but changing is the realities of our society. This thesis examine non-territorialization characteristics by focusing on the openness, composition, and flexibility. The working space on 21c head for a non-territorialization and be summarize. decenterial arrangement, increasing of public space and unification of personal work-station. The purpose of this study is to examine the non-territorialization by analysis of 21c working space.

The purpose of this study contains evaluation of techno-cyber fashion, specifically in the area of dancing costume which symbolize the stage performing art of techno-cyber fashion's formative elements. The way of study is to make foundation with the theory and picture backgrounds to analyze the fashion trends and finally produce symbolic dance costume which applies modern dance stage costume design to techno-cyber elements. The 'Adieu 1999' is the modern dance work contains social mood in retrospect of 20 century and prepare 21 century. To make design of dance costume, apply the simple geometrical pattern design which utilize techno-cyber element like hi-tech fabrics, see-through and image of band and finally produce costume both 20 and 21 century.

The concept of humanity is considered as the common issue of various areas in the $21^{st}$ century. The diverse issues such as social design, social enterprise, and ethical consumption, etc., actually involves in the humanity. The unique aspect is that they focus on the disadvantaged group and want to do something for their severe situation in spite of the economic recession all the world faced. This paper shows how the social design appeared as a paradigm of the $21^{st}$ century design on the historical consideration, and tries to prove that the social design is not a new trend but the subtle movement that begun from $19^{th}$ century.
