Residual Vector를 이용한 시간이력해석의 잔여모드 응답 고려 방법 (Consideration of residual mode response in time history analysis using residual vector)

  • The mode superposition time history analysis method is commonly used in a seismic analysis. The maximum response in the time history analysis can be derived by combining the responses of individual modes. The residual mode response is the response of the modes which are not considered in the time history analysis. In this paper, the residual vector method to consider the residual mode response in the time history analysis is introduced and evaluated. Seismic analyses for a sample structure model and a reactor vessel model are performed to evaluate the residual vector method. The analysis results show that residual mode response is well calculated when the residual vector method is used. It is confirmed that the residual vector method is useful and acceptable to consider the residual mode response in a seismic analysis of the nuclear power plant equipment.

  • In this paper, Push-push Osciplier(Oscillator + Multiplier) has been analyzed by even-odd mode analysis method. A 10GHz DRO, an Osciplier using 10GHz DRO design method and an Osciplier using even-odd mode analysis method were designed, fabricated and tested to verify this method. The measured results verified the validity of the analysis method using even-odd mode analysis.

Changes in High Degree p-mode Parameters with Magnetic and Flare Activities

  • Solar energetic transients, e.g., flares, CMEs, etc., release large amount of energy which is expected to excite acoustic waves (p-modes) by exerting mechanical impulse of the thermal expansion of the flare on the photosphere. We study the p-mode properties of flaring and dormant active regions (ARs) to find association between flare and p-mode parameters. We compute the magnetic and flare activity indices of ARs using the line-of-sight magnetograms and GOES X-ray fluxes, respectively. The p-mode parameters are computed from the ring-diagram analysis. We correct p-mode parameters for magnetic field, filling factors and foreshortening by multiple linear-regression analysis. Our analysis of several flaring and dormant ARs observed during the Carrington rotations 1980-2109, showed strong association of mode parameters with magnetic and flare activities. We find that the mode parameters are contaminated by the geometrical effect. Mode amplitude decreases with angular distance from the solar disc centre. The mode width increases with magnetic activity while amplitude showed opposite relation due to mode absorption by the sunspot. After correcting modes due to all geometrical effects, magnetic activity and filling factor, we find that the modes amplitude, and mode energy increases with flare energy while width shows opposite relation.

  • 본 연구에서는 대상체인 소형 위그선의 주날개 구조를 엔진 및 프로펠러의 기진에 의한 강제진동 해석을 수행하였다. 대상 위그선은 2행정의 왕복엔진을 날개의 좌 우에 각각 장착하여 프로펠러에 의한 추력으로 비행하며, 미는 형식(Pusher Type)의 엔진 배열을 취하고 있다. 엔진의 주요 진동 특성인 H-mode 와 X-mode 를 특정 가진 주파수로 하여 주파수 응답 해석을 수행하였고, 엔진의 횡방향 진동 모드인 L-mode를 프로펠러에 회전에 의해 진동을 수반하는 기진 추력으로 가정하여 과도응답 해석을 수행하였다.

  • 논문에서는 시험선인 소형 위그선의 주날개 구조를 엔진 및 프로펠러에 의해 유발되는 진동을 가진력으로 하여 강제진동 해석을 수행하였다. 대상 위그선은 2행정의 왕복엔진을 날개에 장착하여 프로펠러에 의한 추력으로 비행하며, 미는 형식(Pusher Type)의 엔진 배열을 취하고 있다. 유한요소해석을 위해서 구조해석 상용프로그램인 MSC/NASTRAN을 사용하였으며, 엔진의 주요 진동 특성인 H-mode 와 V-mode 그리고 X-mode를 특정 가진 주파수로 하여 주파수 응답 해석을 수행하였고, 엔진의 횡방향 진동 모드인 L-mode를 프로펠러의 회전에 의해 진동을 수반하는 가진 추력으로 가정하여 과도응답 해석을 수행한 후 날개의 진동 특성을 살펴보았다.

The Analysis of Sulfur Compounds of Odorous Material in Kunsan Industrial Complex

  • In this study, we investigated the gas chromatography (GC) and pulsed flame photometric detection (PFPD) system for the analysis of four major reduced S compounds including hydrogen sulfide ($H_2S)$; methyl mercaptan ($CH_3SH$); dimethyl sulfide (DMS); and dimethyl disulfide(DMDS) contained in environmental samples. To analyze these compounds in high concentration range (above ppb level), we developed a high mode analytical setting with the loop-injection system. By contrast, we also established a low mode setting for the analysis of low concentration samples (ppt-level samples from ambient air) by the combination with thermal desorption unit(TDU). Comparative analysis of both settings revealed that relative detection properties of four S compounds are systematic enough. The results of high mode analysis indicated that the patterns were systematic among compounds: H2S exhibited the lowest sensitivity, while DMBS showed the strongest one. The results were also compared in terms of sensitivity reductions for all compounds by dividing slope ratios between low and high mode system. Although low mode system exhibited significant reductions on the order of a few tens times, their detection characteristics were highly consistent as it was shown in the high mode setting. To learn more about absolute and relative relations between two different modes of S analysis, future studies may have to be directed to cover more complicated nature of GC/PFPD performance. Hydrogen sulfide($H_2S$) was over in summer about low level of olfactory sense 410 ppt, Methyl mercaptan(C$H_3SH$) was over in apring and summer about low level of olfactory sense 70, Dimethyl sulfide(DMS) was not over in four season about low level of olfactory sense 2,200 ppt. Carbon disulfide($CS_2$) was not over in four deason about Tow level of olfactory sense 210,000, Dimethyl disulfide(DMDS) was not over in summer about low level of olfactory sense2,000.

언커플시스템의 파라메트릭 모델링 (Parametric Modelling of Uncoupled System)

  • The analytical realization of uncoupled system was introduced in this study using times series and its spectrum analysis. The ARMAX spectra of time series methods were compared with the conventional FFT spectrum. Also, the response of second order system uncoupled was solved using the Runge-Kutta Gill method. In this numerical analysis, the displacement, velocity and acceleration were calculated. The displacement response among them was used for the power spectrum analysis. The ARMAX algorithm in time series was proved to be appropriate for the mode estimation and spectrum analysis. Using the separate response of first and second mode, each modes were calculated separately and the response of mixed modes was also analyzed for the mode estimation using several time series methods.

  • In this successive study, the analytical realization of coupled system was introduced using the times series identification and spectrum analysis, which was compared with conventional FFT spectrum. Also, the numerical responses of second order system, which is coupled, were solved using the numerical calculation of Runge-Kutta Gill method. After numerical analysis, the displacement, velocity and acceleration were acquired. Among them, the response of displacement was used for the analysis of time series spectrum. Among several time series, the ARMAX algorithm was proved to be appropriate for the spectrum analysis of the coupled system. Using the separated response of 1st and 2nd mode, the mode was calculated separately. And the responses of mixed modes were also analyzed for calculation of the mixed modes in the coupled system.

Sliding Mode Control of Spacecraft with Actuator Dynamics

  • A sliding mode control of spacecraft attitude tracking with actuator, especially reaction wheel, is presented. The sliding mode controller is derived based on quaternion parameterization for the kinematic equations of motion. The reaction wheel dynamic equations represented by wheel input voltage are presented. The input voltage to wheel is calculated from the sliding mode controller and reaction wheel dynamics. The global asymptotic stability is shown using a Lyapunov analysis. In addition the robustness analysis is performed for nonlinear system with parameter variations and disturbances. It is shown that the controller ensures control objectives for the spacecraft with reaction wheels.

커플시스템의 모우드 분석 연구 (Mode Analysis of Coupled System)

  • The suggested coupled system was analyzed using FRF and mode analysis. The eigen-mode of FRF analysis is consistent with that of conventional FFT in spectrum. Also, three numerical responses of second order system, which are coupled, was obtained using the Runge-Kutta Gill method. The displacement, velocity and acceleration response were calculated for the numerical analysis of coupled system and the displacement response was used for the calculation of FRF of this system. Using the mixed response of 1st and 2nd mode in example, the FRF was analysed for the analysis of mixed mode coupled system. Also, its mode shape was acquired by solving the eigen problem of coupled system.
