이 3개의 스테이지의 곱셈 연산 하드웨어는 CSD(Canonic Signed Digit) 계수 방식과 CSS(Common Sub-expression Sharing) 기술을 사용하여 구현면적 감소시킬 수 있었다.

An all solid-state thin film battery (TFB) was fabricated by growing, undoped and Pt-doped vanadium oxide cathode film ( $V_2$$O_{5}$ ) on I $n_2$$O_3$: Sn coated glass, respectively. Room temperature charge-discharge measurements based on Li/Lipon/ $V_2$$O_{5}$ full-cell structure with a constant current clearly shows that the Pt-doped $V_2$$O_{5}$ cathode film is superior, in terms of cyclibility. X-ray diffraction (XRD) results indicate that the Pt doping process induces a more random amorphous structure than an undoped $V_2$$O_{5}$ film. In addition to its modified structure, the Pt-doped $V_2$$O_{5}$ film has a smoother surface than the undoped sample. Compared to an undoped $V_2$$O_{5}$ film, the Pt doped $V_2$$O_{5}$ cathode film has a higher electron conductivity. We hypothesize that the addition of Pt alters electrochemical performance in a manner of making more random amorphous structure and gives an excess electron by replacing the $V^{+5}$. Possible mechanisms are discussed for the observed Pt doping effect on structural and electrochemical properties of vanadium oxide cathode films, which are grown on I $n_2$$O_3$: Sn coated glass.

A comparative study of the structure and organization of the primary and secondary walls in different types of tropical plant waste fibers was carried out using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The thickness of each layer was also measured using Image Analyzer. TEM micrographs haveconfirmed that cell wall structure of all six types of tropical plant waste fibers (empty fruit bunch, oil palm frond, oil palm trunk, coir, banana stem and pineapple leaf) has the same ultrastructure with wood fibre. The fibers consisted of middle lamella, primary and thick secondary wall with different thickness for different types of fibers. The secondary wall was differentiated into a $S_1$ layer, a unique multi-lamellae $S_2$ layer, and $S_3$ layer.
Electroluminescence(EL) devices based on organic thin layers have attracted lot of interests because of their possible application as large-area display-emitting display. One of the problems of such devices is lifetime of the cell, where the degradation of the cell is partially due to the crystalliyzation of organic layers. In large part, this problem can be solved by using a multilayer device structure prepared by vapor deposition technique. In this study, blue light-emitting multilayer organic electroluminescence devices were fabricated vsing Poly (9-vinylcarbaEole) (PVK) and 2- (4-tert-butylphenyl)-5-(4$^{#}$-bis-phenyl) 1,3,4-oxadiazole (PBO) as hole trasport and electron transport material, respectively, where trim(8-hyd roxyquinolinate) aluminum (Al $q_3$) was used as a luminescenct material. A cell structure of glass sub- strate/indume-tin-oxide(ITO)/PCK/Al $q_3$/PBD/Mg:In was employed. Blue emission peak at 510nm was observed with this cell structure.e.
Granzyme A (GzmA) was first identified as a cytotoxic T lymphocyte protease protein with limited tissue expression. A number of cellular proteins are known to be cleaved by GzmA, and its function is to induce apoptosis. Histones H1, H2B, and H3 were identified as GzmA substrates during apoptotic cell death. Here, we demonstrated that histone H4 was cleaved by GzmA during staurosporine-induced cell death; however, in the presence of caspase inhibitors, staurosporine-treated Raji cells underwent necroptosis instead of apoptosis. Furthermore, histone H4 cleavage was blocked by the GzmA inhibitor nafamostat mesylate and by GzmA knockdown using siRNA. These results suggest that histone H4 is a novel substrate for GzmA in staurosporine-induced cells.
This study is intended to develop a Feature based modeler. It is difficult to integrate CAD and CAM/CAPP with information that is given only by a conventional CAD system. Therefore a lot of studies have concentrated on a Feature based CAD system. But conventional Feature based modelers have had limitation on providing sufficient information related to Feature interaction. If a Feature based modeler is to be used in assembly simulation, a new Feature-based modeling method needs to be developed. Also to support collision detection between parts, we have to handle Feature interaction systematically. Therefore we suggest Cell data structure which handles interaction of Features by volume. The volume created by Feature interaction is saved as a Cell. With the Cell structure we solve problems involved with Feature interaction. This study shows how the Cell data structure can manage Feature interaction and give enough information in assembly simulation.
The most common conventional method of discovering a drug involves a massive screening of a large number of compounds in chemical libraries or in the extracts from natural sources such as plants or microbial broths followed by chemical modification of one or more active compounds to improve their properties as a drug. When the three-dimensional structure of the target molecule for which the drug is searched is known the drug discovery process can be significantly simplified, This is especially true when the three-dimensional structure of a complex between the target and a lead compound is known. In this lecture our experience on the structure-based drug design for human CDK2(cyclin-dependent protein kinase 2) will be discussed with special emphasis on the strength and weakness of this approach of drug discovery. The regulation of the activity of CDK2 plays an important role in the cell proliferation of normal and cancer cells.
Honeycomb structure has been fabricated by brazing method using 0.1 wt%C and 1.0wt%C carbon steel core and STS304 stainless steel face sheet. Core shear strength ratio in W and L directions was 1:1.03 in 7 mm cell size, whereas 1:1.45 in 4 mm cell size. Flexural strength on face sheet was 166.4 MPa (0.1 wt%C, W direction), 171.1 MPa (0.1 wt%C, L direction), and 120.2 MPa (1.0 wt%C, W direction) in 7 mm cell size. And in 4mm cell size specimen, it was 169.2 MPa (0.1 wt%C, W direction), 224.2 MPa (0.1 wt%C, L direction). This means that flexural strength of 0.1 wt%C core material was higher than that of 1.0wt%C core material, which was contrary to expectation. SEM and EDS analysis represented that grain boundary diffusion had occurred in0.1 wt%C core, but no grain boundary diffusion in 1.0 wt%C core. And corrugated surface of 0.1 wt%C core was flat, whereas that of 1.0 wt%C core was not flat. As a result, contact area between two 1.0 wt%C cores was much less than that of 0.1 wt% cores, It is thought to be main reason for lower flexural strength of 1.0 wt%C core.
A serious problem of the 21st century is the supply of energy resources. Reserves of fossil fuels are facing depletion: renewable energy resources must be developed in this era. Dye sensitized solar cell (DSC) has been very economical and easy method to convert solar energy to electricity. Recently a novel tandem cell structure is proposed to improve photocurrent of DSC. To fabricated a tandem cell, the mesh structure of counter electrode is essential for the improvement in transmittance. In this study, we conducted the experiment to get the characteristic of DSC with mesh counter electrode. Under the standard test condition (AM 1.5, 100mW/$cm^2$), we obtained the maximum efficiency of 3.41% and the transmittance of 72% in the DSC with mesh counter electrode.
Performance characteristics of single cell in phosphoric acid fuel cell were studied for various electrode fabrication parameters such as teflon content, electrode structure, thickness of electrocatalyst layer, platinum content and electrode area. The performance of single cell was decided from the measured voltage-current through a load change. The electrode of 40wt.% teflon exhibited high initial performance of single cell, but in the long term operation, the cell performance of 45 wt.% teflon was better. Also the single cell appeared good performance in case of electrodes with duplicate structure, thin electrocatalyst in thickness, more platinum content, and small area. These results of cell performance were discussed as related to the electrolyte flooding, formation of 3 phase boundary area, internal resistance of electrode, and microstructure of electrode.
