Today, researches on logistics service quality or supply chain management are highlighted due to intensification of competition and diversification of needs for customer service. This study have done a comparative analysis on supply chain partnership members' perception difference about importance of logistics service quality factors. It measured perception about logistics service quality which suppliers, carriers, and buyers regard as important and then conducted t-test in order to compare perception difference. It was found that quality factors of logistic service which suppliers, carriers, and buyers in supply chain partnership perceive as important were different. And disagreements among members were found in most items when market orientation and long term orientation was low while there was no difference among most members when market orientation and long term orientation was high.

This study is focus on the relationship between the role of FTA and service trade performance enhancing strategy in Korea. and It is on the verification of the focus to the competitive promoting strategy of the logistics industry. finally proposition of the policy making to the government is proposed in the research. The invigoration of the service trade through FTA focus on the logistics industry is very combinative economy policy target with the side of government and the side of private enterprises both. added to this, this is the goal of impossible to achieve just with the development of logistics industry itself. it needs to construct the organic relationship, that is the implement and enforcement of the SCM through logistics industry network. Thus, on logistics, the 3rd party operating system implementation is top priority to gain international competitiveness. furthermore, the 4th party facilitation including consulting function and IT technology to pursue the maximum effectiveness logistics service providing.

항공물류 분야의 개선을 위해 공항에서 연구와 투자를 통하여 공항 선진화를 이루고 있고, 우리나라도 지속적으로 증가하는 항공물류 분야의 개선이 필요하다고 인식하고 개선을 위한 방안을 연구하고 있지만, 항공물류 전반에 걸쳐 통합적인 개선이 이루어지지 않고 개별적이거나 부분적인 시스템 개선으로 중복 투자와 비효율성의 문제가 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 현행 항공물류 프로세스를 수 출입으로 구분하여 분석하였고, 시스템 통합 사례들을 검토하여 프로세스 상에서 발생하는 문서들을 분석하였다. 이중 인터페이스 대상 문서를 선정하고 문서의 데이터 내용과 형식을 정의하였다. 정의한 데이터의 형식을 대상 문서에 코드로 적용시키고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 데이터 저장량을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 통해 항공물류 이해관계자간의 정보 교환이 용이해지고 동일한 정보를 재생성하거나 재가공하는 비효율성을 감소시킬 것으로 기대된다.

Modern enterprises should concentrate their efforts on continuous improvements in focusing their development in the core areas of business and to reduce their expenses and to enhance the quality of service for customers. The enterprises should focus on their core business while outsourcing the non-core areas of business to external specialists for the purpose of reducing cost. In South Korea, the enterprises are becoming increasingly interested in outsourcing their logistics function, especially in using IT technologies to the 3PL. The underlying reason for this trend is because the logistics costs of Korean businesses are much higher than that of other advanced countries. This higher logistic costs weakens the price competitiveness of Korean companies in the overseas export markets and even dampening the balance of international trade. Domestically, the higher logistics costs have the effect of raising prices in the local markets and thus affecting the local economy. Therefore a solution is urgently needed to save the logistics costs for the Korean companies in the interest of increasing national competitiveness. Outsourcing to the 3PL is becoming an attraction solution to this problem. Thanks to the increasing supply of professional logistics companies, many of the enterprises are switching to the Third Party Logistics. Nevertheless the enterprises do not yet utilize the integrated third-party logistics services on a full scale. This study analyzes present conditions and problems of the domestic third-party logistics market and suggests directions for future development. To solve the problems in the domestic third-party logistics market, four actions are recommended. First there should be new supporting policies in the laws and regulations and a system for small and medium sized companies to grow. Solutions to structural problems such as abnormal multilevel merchandising, illegal operation of private cars, and freight dumping should be implemented concurrently. Furthermore, standards for new companies entry into the market should be enhanced to allow only the competitive distribution companies to enter the market. Second, development of variety of educational programs is needed through establishing human-resource development system and specialized formal educational institution focused on this market. Third, the third party distribution companies, which seek long-term relationships with the owners of goods, should endeavor to strengthen their communications capability. Fourth, adoption of high-tech distribution system and the advent of U-Logistics, making use of RFID is urgent. This study has the limitation of objectivity because it does not include various comparative case studies about companies relating to the Third Party Logistics and domestic franchise companies. However, this study is significant to the extent that it analyzes the general present conditions and the problems of domestic Third Party Logistics and suggests recommendations for revitalization of Third Party Logistics. For future studies, analyzing the successful cases of international third party logistics companies' empirical data and studying the application into domestic franchise companies would improve the objectivity of the results. This would assist the domestic third party logistics companies not only to perform excellent domestic logistics function but also to enter into the global market for international logistics.

실시간 우편물류는 고객, 우편물류 담당자 그리고 운영자에게 적절한 정보를 적절한 시간에 제공하는 것이며, 우편물류 흐름과 물품을 실시간으로 통제, 관리하는 것이다. 실시간 우편물류는 기능적 요소와 경영성과 요소가 있다. 기능적 요소는 실시간 추적, 실시간 통제 그리고 실시간 모니터링이며, 경영성과 요소는 우편업무 흐름 관리와 우편업무 흐름의 최적화이다. 본 연구에서는 실시간 우편물류 구축을 위한 자동화와RTE 기술을 분석한다. 또한 자동화와 RTE 기술 도메인 아래에서 유비쿼터스, RFID, USN 등과 같은 인프라와 BPM, EAI, BAM, BI 시스템의 통합을 통한 실시간 우편물류구축을 위한 적용 방법론을 제시한다.

경찰청 자료에 따르면 한국에서 사망 교통 사고의 75.5%는 화물차 사고이다. 한국에서 화물차 사고로 숨지는 사람은 매년 약 1000명이며, 매일 2~3명이 화물차 사고로 사망한다. 한국의 화물노동자들은 화물차 사고가 끊이지 않는 이유로 열악한 노동조건을 응답하고 있다. COVID 19는 비대면 물류 수요를 증가시키고 있다. COVID 19로 인하여 급격하게 증가한 물류 수요는 기존의 낙후된 물류 기술과 낙후된 물류 시스템으로 인하여 운송 과정의 비효율성을 나타내고 있다. 이러한 한국 운송 시스템의 비효율성은 영세 물류 개인 사업자들에 대한 과도한 업무 부담으로 이어지고 있으며, 한국 운송 시스템의 비효율성은 2020년 이후 급격하게 증가한 물류 산업 재해 사망자 수로 나타나고 있다. CIPs에 입주한 한국 중소 기업들은 별도의 스마트 출입 인증 시스템을 갖추지 못하고 있는 경우가 많으며, 이로 인하여 최종 목적지인 출입 단계에서 많은 운송 시간들이 낭비되고 있다. 스마트 출입 인증 시스템 아키텍쳐를 통하여 영세 물류 개인 택배 사업자는 법적 안정성 개선 효과를 얻을 수 있으며, CIPs 중소 기업들은 물류 운송 시간을 단축하는 효과를 얻을 수 있다. CIPs스마트 출입 시스템은 현재 활성화되어 있는 Mobile OTP를 활용하므로, 시스템 설계 비용을 크게 절감할 수 있으며, 개별 휴대폰 단말기에 발생하는 Data용량 부담을 크게 줄이고, 개별 휴대폰 단말기의 응답 속도를 개선할 수 있다. 또한 기존에 다양하게 활용되던 OTP 체계와 호환성이 있으며, OTP 시스템의 오랜 사용 기간을 통한 시스템 신뢰성도 높다. 사용자 고객들의 OTP 시스템 이해도도 다른 스마트 출입 시스템에 비하여 높다.

The aim of this research is to identify the competencies required by freight forwarding company logistics managers or supply chain managers. And this research also attempts to show their relative importance and key knowledge areas that require improvement. Using a survey questionnaire, data was collected against forty three logistics and supply chain management skills or competencies, which were then grouped into four categories and analysed. The Analysis revealed that supply chain awareness, ability to make decisions, analytical skill, communication skill, supply chain cost, people skill, and integration of internal or external information flow which belong to logistics planning group are considered the most important competencies for effective and efficient logistics functioning. On the other hand, reverse logistics and IATA regulations from environmental awareness group show little influence on logistics managers for improving their logistics performances. The results have implications for a variety of parties including prospective logisticians, students, teachers and companies considering expanding their business to Chinese market. For example, the results permit companies to employ appropriate logistics managers who are qualified with sufficient skills and competencies suggested in this research. In the case of practitioners, the results provide a benchmark for comparison with their current level of abilities and suggested competencies.

Freight Forwarders is very important of logistics industry but it still has a lot of problems which have to be improved. The purposes of this study are realizing the current state of freight forwarders and suggesting the developing strategies. It is necessary to make proper size, develop of human resource and construct of information system for development of freight forwarders. Furthermore, it requires more efforts of company and government such as support of tax, support of investment in freight forwarders.

Automobile industry has several characters such as high level of specialization, large volume of production, which plays a big barrier to entry of the industry. Therefore logistics outsourcing of automobile manufacturing company tends to make long-term contract with logistics service provider which also makes it difficult to outsource their logistics business to many different types of companies. Some vehicle manufacturing companies tend to outsource their several logistics to several companies while others outsource very limited number of logistics companies even only one company exclusively. This study aims to investigate various type of logistics outsourcing in terms of advantages and disadvantages and then carry out case study for Hyundai Glovis which is a global logistics company managing logistics service of Hyundai car maker in Korea. The focus is on how it can provide innovative and efficient logistics service with integration of global supply chain of Hyundai Automobile company.

This paper deals with the simulation model for design and operations of A-Mart logistic center for low temperature products. In developed simulation model, receiving docks, digital classification system (DCS), shipping docks, material handling devices and manual sorting stations are considered. Five types of cargo such as fruits, palletized fruits, delicatessen and fisheries, vegetables and refrigerated cargoes are considered. The simulation model and process animation are developed using the simulation package ARENA. Among various design and operation alternatives consisting of the number of workers of receiving dock, allocation of receiving docks by cargo types, DCS capacity, the number of folk-lift, the number of manual sorting operators and overall layout, the best alternatives of each subsystem are selected by simulation analysis. The major performance measures such as DCS throughput, utilization of operators at each station, receiving docks utilization and folk-lift utilization are considered for the alternative evaluation.
