Development of a flood inundation analysis model with a coupled 1D-2D hydraulic model (1·2차원 연계 홍수범람해석 모형의 개발)

  • 최근 기후변화의 영향으로 인한 국지성 돌발호우 및 태풍 규모의 증가로 홍수에 의한 피해가 증가할 것으로 예상되는바 피해를 저감할 수 있는 대비책 마련과 피해의 정확한 분석을 위한 툴의 개발이 필수적이다. 이를 위하여 선진국에서는 하천과 연계된 홍수범람 해석모형인 HEC-RAS(USACE), Mike Flood(DHI) 등을 개발 및 배포하고 있는 반면에 국내에서 개발된 모형들은 연구목적으로 활용되는 수준에 그치고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 수공구조물의 운영을 고려한 1차원 하천흐름해석모형(K-RIVER) 및 제방 또는 댐으로부터의 범람모의를 수행할 수 있는 2차원 홍수범람해석모형(K-FLOOD)을 이용하여 하천으로부터의 홍수범람현상을 하천과 범람원 사이의 양방향 흐름을 고려하여 연계해석 할 수 있는 모형을 개발하였다. 개발된 모형을 경상남도 함안국 법수면 백산리에 위치하고 있는 벽산제를 대상으로 2002년 8월 6일 홍수사상에 의한 홍수범람현상의 재현을 통하여 적용성 검토를 수행하였다. 또한, 국내에서 주로 활용되고 있는 방법인 HEC-RAS와 FLUMEN을 이용한 결과 및 HEC-RAS 1D/2D연계모의결과와 비교를 통하여 결과의 적정성을 검토하였다. K-RIVER와 K-FLOOD를 연계모의한 결과는 HEC-RAS 1D/2D의 결과와 유사한 결과를 보였다. 그러나 HEC-RAS와 FLUMEN을 이용하는 경우 하천과 범람원의 수위에 따라 양방향으로 생성되는 흐름에 대한 모의가 불가능하여 하천의 수위저하시 범람원에서 하천으로의 유입을 고려할 수 없어 범람면적이 감소되는 현상을 모의할 수 없음에 따라 침수심 및 침수시간을 정확히 모의하는 것에는 한계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 정보화지표는 정보화의 진전에 따라 국가 전체 또는 어느 한 부분의 정보화 수준을 측정하여 함축적인 지수로 나타나게 해주며, 그 활용이 매우 편리하여 널리 이용되는 분석방법 중의 하나이다. 정보화지표의 설정모형에 따라 국가 정보화 수준에 대한 분석결과는 달라질 수 있으며 이에 따른 정책의 결정도 변화될 수 있어, 합리적인 정보화지표의 설정은 그만큼 중요하다고 하겠다. 본 연구는 국가 정보화 수준을 정확하게 측정하기 위한 효율적이고 현실에 부합된 지표를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 최근 정보화 진전 및 변화된 환경을 고려하여 정보화지표의 개념을 정립하였다. 그리고 이를 기준으로 정보화지표 체계를 확립하고 측정항목별 지표를 설정하였다. 본 연구는 먼저 세 가지 지표, 즉 정보화설비지표, 정보화이용지표, 그리고 정보화지원지표를 설정하고 이를 보다 효율적으로 비교 분석이 가능하도록 6개 그룹으로 세분화하였다. 즉, 정보기반구조, 정보통신기기산업, 기초정보이용, 고도정보이용, 정보화 연구개발투자, 정보인력지표로 세분화하여 각 부문의 정보화 수준을 고려할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 각 그룹별로 현실성 및 실제 적용가능성 측면을 고려하여 총 28개의 정보화측정지표를 설정하였다.

  • The main purpose of this study is to find the determinant of business performance in Korean software firms. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the technology level of software firm produces an insignificant effect on business performance. Second, the number of development and marketing employees has a more significant effect on business performance than the level of technology.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI) adoption. VDI performance was measured by IS manager (system quality, security, and managerial operation) and business user (usability, access, and user satisfaction). The survey questionnaires were developed for measuring VDI performance. 84 data samples were collected from the companies that had adopted cloud-based VDI. This research model was verified by Smart-PLS and SPSS. The research findings were as follows: First, the companies using VDI experienced actual performance, but they did not attain their expectation. Second, as results of comparing between IS managers and business users, IS administrators had considerably higher performance than business users, which indicates that there were big differences in performance perception among users. Compared with prior research such as technical trend, system construction, and performance improvement, this study has the following implications. First, by comparing the expected performance with the actual performance of the companies that have implemented and operating VDI, it was suggested how a company that wants to adopt VDI can manage the expectation level of VDI and achieve higher actual performance. Second, because the perception of VDI performance differs between business users and system managers, it is meaningful that a fair evaluation of VDI performance requires a balanced consideration of business users and system managers.

  • A valuation of the most hotels in Korea have been decided by their asset value and influenced by real estate market. On the other hand, most hotels aim to maximize their through generating profit as other enterprise do it. Therefore a valuation of the hotel industry should be decided from calculating in their profit value. This study is tried to find out the relationships of the company value by free cash flow model between accounting index in hotel industry. The results are as follows. First, there is a 25% gap between high level and low level in hotel industry. Second, in the first rate hotels it is meaningful 99% between asset size and liability rate. Third, there is 99% meaningful relationship asset size of the first level and second level hotels and company values.

  • Mobility as a Service(MaaS) is an integrated mobility service that enables flexible reservation and payments for various transportation services on one platform, including existing public transportation. To popularize MaaS, users need to be satisfied with the service, and the factors that lower satisfaction need to be improved. In this study, the structural equation model was used to identify the influence of factors on the overall satisfaction level. Improvement plans to increase user satisfaction were derived based on importance-satisfaction analysis and the decision tree model. The analysis revealed the level of connectivity in MaaS apps to be a significant factor that needs to be improved for a higher user satisfaction level of MaaS

A Study on the Policy Demand for Population Inflow in Population Reduction Areas (인구감소지역의 인구유입을 위한 정책 수요에 관한 연구)

  • This study empirically analyzes the policy demand for population inflow in Hongcheon-gun, a region that has experienced population decline over the past decade. The results of this study based on the multinominal logit model provide the policy implications as follows. First, due to the differing factors influencing the demand for population inflow policies among the young and the elderly, local governments should clearly define the policy targets for population inflow. Second, in the context of policy demand for population inflow through corporate attraction, we identify statistically significant and positive effects of the length of residence for both young and old people, and the level of formal education for the elderly. These results emphasize the importance of formulating population inflow policies distinctively targeted for the young and the elderly generations, respectively, thereby increasing population inflow in the population reduction area.

  • The purpose of this study is to experiment and simulate the newly-updated Second Generation Model for Korea (SGM-Korea). With the updated model, we tried to simulate effect of carbon tax on $CO_2$ emissions and other macroeconomic variables for Korea. The baseline data are compared with projected profiles by various scenarios to evaluate its performance. Our contribution in this study is to having up-graded the model from its earlier version by building new hybrid input-output table based on 2000 input-output and energy balanced tables. According to our estimation, total $CO_2$ emission in Korea has already increased in 2000 to about 1.86 times the 1990 figure. The level of carbon tax required for the current level of $CO_2$ emission to be reduced to the 1995 or 2000 level seems to be too high for Korean economy to bear. It is possible to find a reasonable level of carbon tax, however, if it can combine it with improvement of energy efficiency at the rate of 0.5% to 1% per year. For Korea to meet its obligation to reduce $CO_2$ emissions, therefore, it is imperative for her to improve energy efficiency as well as to develop alternative energy source reducing its dependence on fossil fuel.

Schooling, Technology-specific Training and Economic Growth: a Theoretical Approach in a Model of Endogenous Innovation (학교교육과 기술특화교육의 기술혁신 및 경제성장효과: 내생적 기술혁신모형에서 이론적 접근)

  • This paper introduces household's decision for schooling and firm's decision for technology-specific training together into the second generation model of endogenous innovation, and analyses how schooling and technology-specific training interact each other, how they respectively affect innovation and economic growth, and also how the portfolio mix of schooling and technology-specific training changes as economy becomes more innovative. Main results are as follows: First, schooling and technology-specific training both have "inverted-U"shape growth effects. Second, schooling investment per labor required for growth maximization is always greater than that for firm profit maximization. Third, the optimal schooling for growth maximization decreases with technology-specific training. Fourth, the schooling effect on technology-specific training is "U"shaped, so that for firm's profit maximization schooling is substitutable for technology-specific training at the relatively lower level of schooling but complementary at its relatively higher level. Fifth, as economy becomes more innovative, the portfolio mix of education changes in favor of schooling.

  • To strengthen the security of autonomous vehicles, this study derived checklists through the analysis of the status of autonomous vehicle security. The analyzed statuses include autonomous vehicle characteristics, security threats, and domestic and foreign security standards. The derived checklists are then applied to the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) model to find their relative importance. Relative importance was ranked as one of cyber security management system establishment and implementation, encryption, risk assessment, etc. The significance of this study is to reduce cyber security incidents that cause human casualties as well improve the level of security management of autonomous vehicles in related companies by deriving the autonomous vehicle security level checklists and demonstrating the model. If the inspection is performed considering the relative importance of the checklists, the security level can be identified early.
