임베디드 시스템의 정확성 향상을 위한 클럭 주파수 검출기 (A Clock Frequency Detector for Improving Certainty of the Embedded System)

  • In this paper, the frequency detector which detects the clock frequency of the embedded system is proposed and analyzed. The proposed frequency detector is consisted of filter and peak voltage detector. The clock signal is converted from square wave to triangular wave by the filter. The peak voltage of the triangular wave is determined according to the frequency response of filter. The peak voltage detector detects and holds the peak voltage of the signal. Moreover, the proposed clock frequency detector can detect the frequency within 1ms and it gives guarantee of real-time operation.

족삼리(ST36) 전침 자극이 뇌파에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Electroacupuncture at the ST36 on the Electroencephalogram)

  • Objectives . The aim of this study was to examine the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) at the ST36 on normal humans by using power spectral analysis. Methods : EEG(Electroencephalogram) power spectral exhibits site-specific and state-related differences in specific frequency bands. In this study, power spectrum was used as a measure of complexity. 32 channel EEG study was carried out in 12 subjects (10 males; age=26.7 years old, 2females; age=28 years old). Results ; In ${\alpha}$ (alpha) band, the power values at Fp2, F7, F3, Fz, FTC1, FTC2, T3, C3, Cz, C4, TT1, TCP1, CP1, CP2,T5, P3, Pz, P4, Po1, Po2, O1, Oz,O2 channels(p<0.05) during the ST36-acupoint treatment were significantly increased. In ${\beta}$ (beta) band, the power values at Fp2, F7, F3, Fz, F4, F8, FTC1, FTC2, T3, C3, Cz, C4, TT1, TCP1, CP1, CP2, T5, P3, Pz, P4, Po1, Po2, O1, Oz, O2 channels(p<0.05) during the ST36-acupoint treatment were significantly decreased. In ${\delta}$ (delta) band, the power values at F7, Fz, T3, C3, TT1, TCP1, CP1, CP2, T5, P3, Pz,T6, Po1, PO2,O1, Oz, O2 channels(p<0.05) during the ST36-acupoint treatment were significantly decreased. In ${\theta}$(theta) band, the power values at F7, Fz, FTC1, T3, TCP1, CP2, TCP2, Po1, Po2 channels(p<0.05) during the ST36-acupoint treatment were significantly decreased. ${\alpha}$/${\beta}$ values at Cz, T5, O1, Oz, O2 channels during the ST36-acupoint treatment were increased. ${\beta}$/${\theta}$ values at Fpl, F7, F3, Fz, F4, F8, FTC1, FTC2, T3, C3, C4, T4, TT1, TCP1, TCP2, TT2, P3, P4, T6, Pol channels during the ST36-acupoint treatment were increased. Conclusions : This results suggest that Electroacupuncture at the ST36 mostly affects the charge on alpha(23 channels), beta(25 channels) bands.

일 지역 농업인의 농작업 재해사고 (Agricultural Accidents in Farm Workers)

  • Purpose: This study was to obtain information regarding to agricultural accidents in farm workers in the Kyungpook area. Methods: A questionnaire survey was carried out for 528 workers from the 1st to 31st of March, 2007. Frequency, percentage, mean and chi-square test with the SPSS program were used to analyze the data. Results: The causes of agricultural accidents include falling(29.0%), overseeing(18.9%), traffic accident(17.4%), putting between machinery(11.7%), crashing(5.3%), fire (0.6%) in the order of frequency. Injuries from agricultural accidents include fracture(44.7%) cerebral bleeding (10.4%), amputation(7.0%), airway obstruction (2.3%) burn(1.9%), drug addiction(1.9%) in the order of frequency. The largest proportion of the subjects of hospital treatment were in their 50s and belonged to the group of high-level economic state. Agricultural machinery collision was the most frequent cause among the subjects of hospital treatment. Conclusion: These results suggest that carelessness can be a potential risk factor for agricultural accidents in farm workers. These findings may give useful information for developing agricultural accident prevention programs for farm workers.

좌측 슬부 통증을 호소하는 베이커 낭종 환자에 대한 고주파 치료 증례보고 1례 (A Case Report on Left Knee Pain and Instability with Baker's cyst Treated with Ultrasound Therapy)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of ultrasound therapy on left knee pain and instability diagnosed with Baker's cyst in a 25-year-old male patient. Methods: Patient was treated with Radio frequency ablation treatment on left knee from Naeseulan (EX-LE4) to Wijoong (BL40). The effect of radio frequency ablation was assessed by Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Western Ontario and McMaster Universities (WOMAC) and Euro Qol-5 Dimension Index (EQ-5D Index). The treatment was executed one time a day everyday form May 28th to June 1st of 2020. Patient was observed from May 26th to June 1st. Results: After five sessions of radio frequency ablation, VAS of left posterior knee pain was improved while no improvement was discovered at left medial knee. In Korean WOMAC scale, only subscale of weight bearing and walking around plain were improved. EQ-5D did not show any improvement. Conclusion: The results suggest that radio frequency ablation treatment can be a valuable option in treating knee pain and daily living function. Further study seems to be needed based on long-term intervention.

전침 및 봉약침치료를 시술한 양성전립선비대증 환자의 임상증상개선에 대한 후향적 단면연구 (A Retrospective and Cross-sectional Study on Symptom Improvements in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Patients Treated with Electroacupuncture and Bee Venom Acupuncture)

  • Obejectives : To investigate the clinical effect of electroacupuncture and bee venom acupuncture for benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) symptoms. Methods : Among 39 outpatients who were treated at a BPH clinic, 8 were finally selected for analysis by charts-review, retrospectively. They were treated by electroacupuncture and bee venom acupuncture more than 3 times. We estimated the effectiveness of the treatments by using the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) questionnaire and checking their nocturia frequency. On the basis of these variables, we analyzed the statistical significations of symptom improvements. Results : Among 8 patients, the IPSS and nocturia frequency showed significant improvement after the final treatment compared with baseline (P = .0078, P = .0078). The IPSS significantly decreased even after the 1st treatment and also after the 2nd treatment compared with the baseline (P = .0078, P = .0078). The IPSS at post final-treatment, post 1st- and post 2nd treatment also showed significant improvement compared with IPSS at baseline in 6 severe symptomatic patients(P = .031, P = .031, P = .031). Nocturia frequency decreased after the 1st treatment compared with baseline and showed significant improvement between baseline and post 2nd treatment (P = .0078). Conclusions : In a retrospective and cross-sectional study investigating the clinical effects of electroacupuncture and bee venom acupuncture on BPH, these treatments proved to have significant therapeutic effects, particularly for various symptoms involving frequent nocturia.

내열성장독소 생산 대장균의 판정 (Assay of Heat Stable Enterotoxin Producing E. coli)

  • Enterotoxigenic E. coli is one of causative agents of the infantile diarrhea and traveler's diarrhea. A modified infant mouse assay(IMA) was developed for the detection of heat stable enterotoxin (ST) of E. coli isolated from diarrheal and control infants and assay system was established with using enterotoxin producing reference strains. The supernatant of the 24 hour-shaking culture of E. coli in Casamino Acid Yeast Extract Salt Broth(CYES-2) was ingested orally into the 2-4 day old ICR mice. After the mice were kept at $25^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours, they were sacrificed and the gut weight body weight ratio(GW/BW) was taken as the index of fluid accumulation induced by heat stable enterotoxin of E. coli. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The GW/BW responses of IMA tested with enterotoxin reference strains of E. coli(E. coli O148H28:$ST^+LT^+$, E. coli $O78H^-:ST^+LT^+$, E. coli O15H11:$ST^-LT^+$, E. coli O1H7:$ST^-LT^-$) appeared ta be ST dose-dependent, and not LT-dependent. From the dose-response curve, $25{\mu}l$ of culture supernatant was determined as test amount of the IMA. 2. Frequency distribution of IMA result from 643 strain of E. coli showed normal distribution at low GW/BW ratio and dispersed pattern at high GW/BW ratio. The GW/BW ratios of $0.056{\pm}0.004(mean{\pm}SD)$ of normal distribution which distributed from 0.044 to 0.068(P<0.01) was considered as ST negative. Thus the GW/BW ratio above 0.069 could be regarded as ST positive.

건강한 치은과 조기 치은염 환자 부착치은폭경에 관한 연구 (Clinical study on the width of attached gingiva the subjects with healthy gingiva,or eariy stage of gingivitis)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the width of attached gingiva of 414 subjects with healthy gingiva, or early stage of gingivitis. We compared the differences according to the tooth location, age (Yonger group : $14{\sim}30$, Older group : $31{\sim}67$) and gender. In addition, we compared the width of attached gingiva in the subjects with less than 2 sites of gingival recession($Re{\leq}2$) and the subjects with more than 3 sites of gingival recession($Re{\geq}3$) to study the relationship between the gingival recession and the width of attached gingiva. The results were as follows : 1. The width of keratinized gingiva was widest in maxillary incisors($5.3{\pm}1.4mm$) and narrowest in mandibular right 1st bicuspid and mandibular right and left 2nd molars($3.5{\pm}1.1mm$). 2. The width of attached gingiva was widest in maxillary right central incisor($3.8{\pm}1.5mm$) and narrowest in mandibular right 2nd molar($1.2{\pm}1.0mm$). 3. In the comparison between the age groups, the width of keratinized in older group was significantly (p<0.05) wider than that in younger group in maxillary right and left 1st bicuspids, mandibular right and left 1st and 2nd molars, maxillary right and left cuspids and mandibular right 1st bicuspid. There was no significant difference in the width of attached gingiva between the two groups except for maxillary right and left 1st molars and maxillary left 2nd molar. 4. In the comparison between male group and female group, in maxillary right and and left lateral incisors and cuspids, mandibular right and left cuspids and 1st bicuspids, the width of attached gingiva in female was significantly(p<0.05) wider than that in male group. 5. In the comparison between the Re 3 group and Re 2 group, there was no significant difference except for maxillary right and left 2nd molars and maxillary left 1st molar. 6. The frequency of gingival recession was m the order of mandibular right 1st bicuspid(16.6%), maxillary right 1st bicuspid(13.7%), maxillary and mandibular left 1st bicuspids (13.4%), mandibular left cuspid (10.5%), maxillary left and mandibular right cuspids(10.1%) and maxillary right cuspid(7.9%).

  • The experiment was canied out to investigate the effects of cutting frequencies (3, 4 and 5 cuts per year) in relation to fertilization of mineral nitrogen on crude protein yield and the contents of crude protein and acid detergent fibre in orchardgms(Dacty1is glomerata L.). Tne results are as follows : 1. The content of crude protein increased according to the increase in cutting frequency and showed the highest in the 1st cut in all treatments. At 4 and 5 cutting frequencies per year, the content of crude protein increased in a large extent according to the increased fertilization of mineral nitrogen. However at 3 cutting frequency, the content of cmde protein appeared higher for no application of mineral nitrogen than for the treatments with fertilization. 2. 'Ihe content of acid detergent fibre(ADF) was considerably reduced at 4 and 5 cutting frequencies and in all treatments, the lowest were recorded in the 1st cut or in the last cut. At 3, 4 and 5 cutting frequencies, the highest ADF were shown in the 2nd cut, 3rd cut and 3rd cut respectively. However, the general trend was that the content of ADF was greatly reduced according to increased level of mineral nitrogen fertilization. 3. The yeild of cmde protein was the highest at 5 cutting frequency(l.2 ton DMIha) and it indicated that the yield of cmde protein increased in accordance to the increase in fertilization of mineral nitrogen and cutting frequency. 4. 병진운동하는 사각형 유체저장탱크 내부의 슬로싱 특성 연구 (A Study on the Sloshing of the Rectangular Tank Partially Filled with Fluid Under Translational Motion)

  • The oscillation of the fluid caused by external motions is called sloshing, which occurs in moving vehicles with contained fluid masses, such as the oil tankers, railroad cars, aircraft and rockets. Natural frequencies of fluid are much lower than that of solid structures, and the deformation caused by the excitation that is less than 1st natural frequency of fluid is very large. For the reason of that, sloshing characteristics under the ekcitation that is less than the 1st natural frequency must be studied prior to the consideration of natural frequencies of fluid. The experimental devices are constructed to simulate the translation motion. The rectangular tanks are made to study the sloshing characteristics under external excitation. The changes of water height are measured using an analogue camcorder and MPEG board, and those are compared to each other through a standard deviation. From the results of experiments, the sloshing is greatly influenced by the length of the rectangular tank than the width of that under the periodic translational motion in the length direction. The rapid amplification of sloshing by resonance is also confirmed experimentally.
