과산화수소를 이용한 몰리브덴(Mo.) 용해반응에 따른 청정기술 개발에 관한 연구(I) (A Clean Technic Development using the Molybdenum Dissolution Reaction with Hydrogen Peroxide(I))

  • In the tungsten industry as light source material, tungsten filament which used as light source material ould form after molybdenum wire which used as the center supporter for coil shape tungsten wire was removed. The purpose of this study is to develop new process named "hydrogen peroxide dissolution method". This process uses hydrogen peroxide, which is harmless to human body and oxidize molybdenum wire selectively. The results were as follows:1. The dissolution of molybdenum wire was proportion to a solution and contact surface of molybdenum wire. 2. The optimum $H_2O_2/H_2O$ were 1:0.5 ~ 1:1.75. 3. The time of dissolution was 65~70 minutes, and the PCS of sample were 20,800 PCS(1,820g). 4. Total cost($H_2O_2$, catalyst) was ₩19,088.

교정용 BRACKET과 ARCHWIRE 사이의 마찰저항에 대한 비교연구 (COMPARISON OF THE FRICTIONAL RESISTANCE BETWEEN ORTHODONTIC BRACKET & ARCHWIRE)

  • Practitioners are aware of the presence of friction between bracket system and archwire during sliding movement of teeth. Clinically a mesiodistally applied force must exceed the frictional force to produce a tooth movement. The objective of this study were to determine, on a dry condition, changes in magnitude of friction with respect to load, 3rd order inclination (Torque), archwire materials and ligature type. Three wire alloys (Stainless Steel, TMA, NiTi) in two wire sizes (.016, .016x, .022 inch) were examined respect to two bracket system (Straight, Standard), and two ligature type (Metal, Plastic ligature) at three levels of load (100g, 150g, 200g). The results were as follows; 1. Frictional resistance was found to increase with increasing load for S.S., TMA, NiTi. 2. The straight bracket system was exhibited more frictional force than standard bracket system for .016x, .022 S.S. tightly ligated metal ligature. But, torque difference did not increase friction for loose metal ligature & plastic ligature. 3. Regardless of the ligature type, torque and load, stainless steel wire sliding against stainless steel exhibited the lowest friction, and TMA sliding against stainless steel exhibited the highest friction. 4. The loose stainless steel ligature generated lower frictional resistance than plastic ligature in all experimental groups. 5. The following factors affected friction in decreasing order; wire material ligature type, and load.

BSCCO 선재와 YBCO 선재의 솔레노이드 코일의 전기적 특성 비교 (Comparison of Electrical Characteristics of The Solenoid Coils made of YBCO wire and BSCCO wire)

  • Solenoid coil is one of the commonly used one in superconducting power machines because it can produce uniform magnetic field at the center of the coil. Most of the AC loss in a solenoid coil is magnetization loss which is generated by the perpendicular magnetic field. This paper compares the electrical characteristics of two solenoid coils made of YBCO wire and BSCCO wire. We made and tested the BSCCO solenoid coil and YBCO solenoid coil which had the same number of turns and inner diameter. Number of turns and inner diameter of both coils were 30 turns and 10cm, respectively. AC loss of both coils were calculated by using the finite element method. Result shows that AC loss of YBCO coil was about 1/7 of that of the BSCCO coil when the current was 40A.

환상형 클래스프의 유지력에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE RETENTIVE FORCE OF CIRCUMFERENTIAL CLASP)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the retentive force of cast half round circumferential clasps, cast round circumferential clasps and wrought wire clasps on three different depths of undercut(10G,20G.30G), and to determine the proper amount of undercut for cast round circumferential clasp. Three different lower second premolar crowns were cast and each of clasp was made. Each of clasp affixed to the different types of clasp. Their retentive forces were measured with universal testing machine. The results were as follows : 1. When the depth of undercut was same, the greatest retentive force was exerted by cast half round circumferential clasp, followed by cast round - 33 - circumferential clasp and wrought wire clasp. 2. The degree of variation amount of retentive force according to depth of undercut was greatest for cast round circumferential clasp. 3. Not only elastic deformation but also permanent deformation of the retentive arm was observed after insertion and removal of the clasp. The results of this study show that the retentive force of cast round circumferential clasp falls between those of cast half round circumferential clasp and wrought wire clasp, and suggest that a 20G undercut is suitable for ensuring an appropriate degree of the retentive force.

고용착 GMA 용접의 Arc 안정성 및 용적이행 현상에 미치는 보호gas의 영향 (Effect of Shielding gas Composition on Arc Stability and Transfer mode of High deposition GMA Welding)

  • The arc stability and the metal transfer mode of high deposition GMA welding were investigated using various compositions of shielding gas with two types of filler, ie solid wire and metal cored wire. As for a solid wire, the transfer mode changed from axial spray to rotational spray with increasing wire feed rate (welding current) and the transition current was different with the gas composition. The gas composition also affected the apparent stability of rotating arc. As for a metal cored wire, on the other hand, no transition occurred and thus spray transfer mode could be applied with the welding current over 500A (deposition rate over 300g/min). Looking for the development of high deposition GMA welding process, above results were discussed in two different ways, one is to elevate the transition current, the other is to stabilize the rotational transfer mode.

  • 비정질 세선의 인장응력에 따른 교류자화과정에서의 최대자기유도 변화를 피측정 물리량으로 하는 가속도 센서에 관하여 연구를 하였다. 진동측정 주파수 범위는 진동감지소자의 질량에 의하여 결정되었으며, 질량이 $1{\times}10^{-3}kg$일 경우 DC에서 700 Hz, $5{\times}10^{-3}kg$일 경우 DC에서 200 Hz로 측정되었다. 가속도 센서의 선형도는 가속도의 범위가 5 g이내일 때 1% 이하였다.

국산 Ni-Ti합금 교정용 선재의 특성에 관한 연구 (A STUDY CONCERNING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF KOREAN NI-TI ALLOY ORTHODONTIC WIRE)

  • 국산 Ni-Ti합금 교정용 선재(ORTHOLLOY)의 특성을 평가하기 위하여 성분, 인장특성, 굽힘특성, 열처리성, 내식성, 이온용출 등에 대해 조사하고 외국산 Ni-Ti합금 선재(SENTALLOY)의 특성과 비교 분석한 결과는 다음과 같았다. ORTHOLLOY는 초탄성 효과를 나타내는 범위내에서의 Ni과Ti 함량을 포함하고 있었다. 인장실험에서 ORTHOLLOY는 연신율 $2\%$에서 $8\%$정도 범위내에서 하중의 변화가 거의 없는 초탄성 효과를 나타내었다. 3점 굴곡실험에서 ORTHOLLOY는 SENTALLOY 보다 같은 변위량에서 높은 하중값을 나타내었고, 초탄성을 나타내는 변위영역에서의 하중 범위는 ORTHOLLOY의 경우 0.014" 에서 80-100g, 0.016"에서 140-180g, 0.018" 에서 150-200g의 값을 나타내었다. $400^{\circ}C,\;500^{\circ}C$의 열처리에 의해 초탄성을 나타내는 하중범 위가 낮아졌고, 각 열처리 온도에서는 시간이 증가함에 따라 초탄성을 나타내는 하중값의 범위가 낮아졌으며 $600^{\circ}C$에서는 10분간의 열처리로 초탄성 효과가 소실되었다. 용출되어 나온 Ni 이온의 양은 SENTALLOY의 0.01ppm미만의 극소량에 비해 ORTHOLLOY에서는 0.3ppm 전후로 높게 나타났다. 침적 실험후 주사전자현미경 관찰을 통한 표면조직 소견은 SENTALLOY에서는 침적 전후 및 침적 시간의 경과에 관계없이 전체적으로 비교적 균일한 양상을 보였으나 ORTHOLLOY에서는 pitting corrosion양상을 보였다.

열처리 공정 변화에 따른 Bi2212/Ag ROSAT 선재의 임계 특성 (The Effect of Different Heat Treatment Processes on Critical Properties of Bi2212/Ag ROSAT Wire)

  • We have investigated the effect of different heat treatment processes on electrical and magnetic properties of Bi2212/Ag ROSAT wire. The ROSAT wire was fabricated by stacking and arranging 12 filaments Bi2212/Ag tapes in triple rotation symmetry in a Ag tube. ROSAT wires have been prepared using a partial melting method with changing $T_{max}$ and $T_a$ in oxygen atmosphere. The highest critical current density($J_c$) at 65 K under 0 T was $21,158\;A/cm^2$ for wire prepared $890\;^{\circ}C(T_{max})$ and $840\;^{\circ}C(T_a)$, respectively. SEM results indicated that the wire prepared at $890\;^{\circ}C(T_{max})$ and $840\;^{\circ}C(T_a)$ showed better directional phases than the other samples. However the result of magnetic susceptibility measurement indicates that the wire prepared $890\;^{\circ}C(T_{max})$ and $835\;^{\circ}C(T_a)$ had better superconducting phases than the other samples. It was revealed that heat treatment temperature was important factor for superconducting properties of the ROSAT wire.

Microstructural and Magnetic Characterization of Fe Nanosized Powder Synthesized by Pulsed Wire Evaporation

  • We studied the microstructure and magnetic properties of Fe nanosized powder synthesized by the pulsed wire evaporation method. The x-ray diffraction spectrum confirmed that this powder had a pure ${\alpha}$-Fe phase. Scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope measurements indicated that the prepared powder had uniform spherical shape with core-shell structure. The mean powder size was about 35 nm and the thickness of the surface passivation layer was about 5 nm. Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy measurement indicated that the surface passivation layer was iron oxide. Magnetic field dependent magnetization measurement at room temperature showed that the maximum magnetization of the prepared powder was 177.1 emu/g at 1 T.

  • An immune system has powerful abilities such as memory, recognition and learning to respond to invading antigens, and is applied to many engineering algorithm recently. In this paper, the combined optimization algorithm is proposed for multi-objective problem by introducing the capability of the immune system that controls the proliferation of clones to the genetic algorithm. The optimizing ability of the proposed algorithm is identified by using multi-peak function which have many local optimums and identification of the flexural rigidity for wire rope model.
