From the soil biodiversity study, we found a species, Phauloppia lucorum (C.L. Koch, 1841) in the family of Oribatulidae (Acari: Oribatida) from the straw mat covering the cherry trees during winter in 2011. This species inhabiting litter and soil of forest, moss and lichens on tree and stones is distributed in the eastern Asia and western and central parts of Europe. In this paper, we illustrate the diagnostic features of a new species with detailed diagrammatic representations and its geographical distribution.

In this paper Legendre wavelets are used to approximate the solutions of linear time-invariant system. The Legendre wavelet and its integral operational matrix are presented and an efficient algorithm to solve the Sylvester matrix equation is proposed. The algorithm is based on the decomposition of the Sylvester matrix equation and the preorder traversal algorithm. Using the special structure of the Legendre wavelet's integral operational matrix, the full order Sylvester matrix equation can be solved in terms of the solutions of pure algebraic matrix equations, which reduce the computation time remarkably. Finally a numerical example is illustrated to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.

The genus Psilomma $F{\ddot{o}}rster$, 1856 and a species of the genus, P. dubium Kieffer, 1908 are recorded for the first time from South Korea. The genus Psilomma is also recorded from the Eastern Palaearctic region for the first time. Redescription and photographs of the diagnostic characters of P. dubium are provided.

Appendiceal perforation is uncommon in the neonate. Diess reported the first case in 1908. Approximately 111 additional cases have been reported since that time. However, with exclusion of neonatal appendicitis associated with inguinal or umbilical hernias, necrotizing enterocolitis, meconium plug, and Hirschsprung's disease, there are only 36 cases of primary neonatal appendicitis. We treated a 12 days old boy with perforation of the appendix. The infant was 3000 g at birth and had a normal spontaneous vaginal delivary at 35 weeks of gestation. The mother was 31-year-old and had premature rupture of membrane. After normal feeding for the first 5 days of life, the infant had emesis of undigested milk, decreased activity and jaundice. The baby was admitted to the Pediatrics. Progressive abdominal distension, fever, decreased activity, and vomitting developed over the next six days. Erect abdominal radiography showed pneumoperitoneum. At exploratory laparotomy, a $0.8{\times}0.6$ cm sized perforation was noted at antime-senteric border of midportion of the appendix. Trasmural inflammation and the presence of ganglion cells were noticed on histology.

The motion of a small, heavy rigid particle in the shear flow on a stationary wall is investigated in the context of Stokes flow. The lift force proposed by Saffman(1965) and later modified by Mclaughlin(1991) and Mei(1992) is considered in the prediction of the particle motion far away from the wall. Later, the expression of the lift force is modified to take into account the effect of wall(Cherukat and Mclaughlin, 1994). In the analysis the gravity and buoyancy effect are also taken into account. An analytical and numerical results for the terminal velocities and trajectories of the particle after the enough lapse of time are presented.

The metropolitan area needs to control the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and transportation card system in order to implement an efficient railway and subway. This paper introduces a suitable analysis to take advantage of the systematic method of the AFC and transportation card. These systems should consider the fare system, transportation pass and AFC equipment, which are organized with the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine, the Ticket Office Machine and the Card System of Radio Frequency (RF). However, the organization includes the fact the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine has a problem with the proceeding speed of passengers and inconvenience. Second, the majority of passengers have not utilized the Ticket Office Machine. Also, it should consider whether the transportation card is the proper system in the metropolitan area. Based on the analysis of national and international cases, it suggests that the AFC should make more improvements in the metropolitan area railway and subway.

3차원 영상은 정보전달의 효과 면에서 기존의 어떠한 디스플레이보다 월등한 것으로 평가되고 있으며, 입체 TV/영화, 게임, 의료, 관광, 전시, 회의 등의 여러 분야에서 다양하게 응용되리라 기대된다. 이에 따라 3차원 영상을 구현하기 위한 여러 방법들이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 홀로그래피 방법은 이론적으로 완전한 입체 영상을 구현할 수 있으나, 광원으로 레이저를 사용해야 하는 등 현재로서는 해결해야 할 문제들이 많다. 양안 시차를 이용한 stereoscopy 방법은 multi-view 방식이 꾸준히 연구되고 있지만, 시점의 위치가 고정되고 눈의 피로도가 증가하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 주목받고 있는 IP(Integral Photography) 방법을 이용한 3차원 동영상 디스플레이 기술에 대한 기초 연구 수행 결과를 논의하고자 한다. Photographic 기술을 이용한 IP 방법은 1908년 Lippmann에 의해 처음 제안되었다. (중략)

This paper is a sequel to [8]. Development of modern logic was initiated by Boole and Morgan. Boolean logic is one of their completed works. Cantor created the set theory along with cardinal and ordinal numbers. His theory on infinite sets brought about a remarkable development on modern mathematical theory, but generated many paradoxes (e.g. Russell Paradox) that in turn motivated mathematicians to solve them. Further, mathematicians attempted to construct sound foundations for Mathematics. As a result three important schools of thought were formed in relation to fundamentals of mathematics for the resolution of paradoxes of set theory, namely logicism developed by Russell and Whitehead, intuitionism lead by Brouwer and formalism contended by Hilbert and Bernays. In this paper, we examine the logic for intuitionism which is originated by Brouwer in 1908 and study Heyting algebra.

For giving a person to understand that the relation between being used medicine and psychiatric medicine in the Nae ui won(內醫院). The psychiatric medicine were studied in the Nae ui won's diary. The results are as follows ; 1. It is supposed that the symtoms of Geong Chung, Hyun hun (眩暈) and Bulmyn(不眠) mainly appeared in 1908. 2. It is supposed that the symptoms of Guibeong(氣病) and ulchung(蔚症)mainly appeared in 1920. 3. It is supposed that the symptoms of Guibeong(氣病) and Talyeong(脫營) mainly appeared in 1924. 4. There were Cheongshim(淸心), Anshin(安神) and chingan(鎭肝) which added to a regular medical prescription. Finally with the help of these conclusions of which we have refered, we found that the cause of disease were changed according to the social situation of being free or repressed, and it also coinside with what Nae ui won's record said and practical result.

This survey conducted to know the species of helminth parasites of cats slaughtered in Daegu during the period from July to September in 1977. A total of 65 cases of internal organs of cats was used for this examination. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. Six species of trematodes belong to order digenea were found; Clonorchis sinensis (Cobbolt, 1875), Heteropheys heterophyes nocens (Onji et Nisinio, 1915), Metagonismus yokogawai(Katsurada, 1912), Centrocestus sp. Echinochasmus perfoliattlus (Ratz, 1908), and Echinopharyphium sp. 2. Five species except Clonorchis sinens are firstly recorded in cats in Korea.
