Based on Ahmadzadeh-Varvani hardening rule (A-V model), multiaxial ratcheting effect of Z2CND18.12N austenitic stainless steel is simulated by ABAQUS with user subroutine UMAT. The results show that the predicted results of the origin multiaxial A-V model are lower than the experimental data, and it is difficult to control ratcheting strain rate. In order to improve the predicted capability of A-V model, the A-V model is modified. In this study. Moreover, under the assumption of the von Mises yield criterion and normal plasticity flow rule, we develop a numerical algorithm of plastic strain with the improved model to implement the finite element calculation of the model. Internal iteration in the numerical algorithm was implemented with the Euler backward method, which calculated the trial strain for each equilibrium iteration using the consistent tangent matrix. With a user subroutine, the proposed model is programmed into ABAQUS for a user - executable version. By simulating the uniaxial ratcheting of a round bar made of Z2CND18.12N austenitic stainless steel, we observe that the predicted results simulated by ABAQUS with UMAT are compared with the experimental data. The predicted results of the improved multiaxial A-V model are consistent well with the experimental data.

Recently, scanning projects have been carried out in various construction and construction fields for maintenance purposes. The point cloud generated by the scan results is composed of a number of points representing the object to be scanned. The process of extracting the necessary information, including dimensions, from such scan data is called paradox. The reverse engineering process of modeling a point cloud as BIM involves considerable manual work. Owing to the time-consuming reverse engineering nature of the work, the costs increase exponentially when rework requests are made, such as design changes. Reverse engineering automation technology can help improve these problems. On the other hand, the reverse design product is variable depending on the use, and the kind and detail level of the product may be different. This paper proposes the G2BM (Geometry-to-BIM mapping) rule definition method that automatically maps a BIM object from a primitive geometry to a BIM object. G2BM proposes a process definition and a customization method for reverse engineering BIM objects that consider the use case variability.
Generally, the outcomes of the historical study in some domain would be a most fundamental and basic reference for understanding the essential and core component of them. Specially in case of social science, the importance of historical research much more emphasized that would be divided into independent academic field. In Korean history including fisheries business and industry, the most remarkable historic event would be the period of Japanese colonial rule that one of the most obstacle should overcome. Though the fisheries business and industry of Korea have considerable own history, the research and study of that not so much have been performed or investigated including the period of Japanese colonial rule. Most of the existing research of fisheries history have merely focused on partial topics like 'Fishermen's Association', 'Fisheries Industry Despoliation'. And the historical study of fisheries business and industry's overall status and trend in local area except Pusan also not enough. The aims of this study are exploring the fisheries trends and status during the period of Japanese colonial rule in Tongyeong and finding out the overall major fisheries business issues that would be a better understanding the Korean fisheries industry. Achieving that Objectives, over 800 articles of media, the Japanese government-general of Korea, and other historical data were gathered, refined and analyzed. This paper focused on of major fisheries topics and issues that including overall fisheries status, trends, fisheries catches, local fisheries cooperatives and fisheries exhibition during the period of Japanese colonial rule in Tongyeong. The result of this study shows that the status of fisheries in Korea had been deteriorated for exploitation of Japanese imperialism and Japanese fisheries capitalist during that period. Though the level of Tongyeong in fisheries was very high in terms of catches ratio and population of fisherman, the distribution networks of fishermen's association was not good enough. And the Tongyeong fisheries exhibition in 1922 has positive aspects for considering both composition of organization and educational activity. Even though the results and findings would be a helpful guidelines for understanding the fisheries business trends and status under the rule of Japanese imperialism, more research and study of that should be accomplished.

This study aims at reviewing first the cases of marine accidents of small fishing vessels and vessels towing and being towed and, the problems concerning such lights and shapes that could be misunderstood for those in concerned Rules, or that could impair their distinctive characteristics or obstruct to keep a proper look-out. And then I wish to make a suggestion of the necessity of amending the National Laws which stipulate the rules for the ship's lights and shapes as follows; Firstly, by amending the "Standard of Construction and Equipment for the Less Than 10 Gross Tonnage of Small Fishing Vessels" small fishing vessel must be equipped with the lights and shapes that are the same as those of "vessel engaged in fishing" prescribed by Rule 26 of the "COLREG 1972" and Rule 84 of the "Maritime Safety Law Act". Secondly, "Standard of Fishing Vessels Equipment" which stipulate the rules concerning the exception of the running lights and radar reflector for the small fishing vessels must be amended to meet the requirement of Rule 20 of the "Maritime Safety Act". Thirdly, the definition of "Length of the tow" which prescribed by Rule 2 of the "Maritime Safety Act" must be amended to meet the Rule 24 of the "COLREG 1972". And also I wish to adhere to the importance of displaying the adequate vessel lights and shapes by every mariner for preventing marine accidents.
We present a simple design rule for a passive temperature-compensating optical package. We also present experimentally that a package fabricated by using the design rule compensates the temperature dependence of the resonant wavelength of an optical long period fiber grating by varying the strain inside the fiber, The package fabricated in this work consists of two pieced of brass tube, 10 mm long, and a piece of nylon rod, 45.4 mm long. It is shown that the package can compensate the temperature-induce wavelength shifts of the long period grating to a range of 6.8 pm/$^{\circ}C$, compared with 0..48 nm/$^{\circ}C$ for an uncompensated grating. The reduced strength of the fiber caused by exposure to ultraviolet limits the performance of the package to the range operating temperature form -3 $^{\circ}C$ to 7$0^{\circ}C$.
(Background) Recent biotechnological breakthroughs are shedding new lights on various ethical and legal issues about human biological material. Since Rudolph Virchow, a German pathologist, had founded the medical discipline of cellular pathology, issues centering around human biological materials began to draw attention. The issues involving human biological materials were revisited with more attention along with series concerns when the human genome map was finally completed. Recently, with researches on human genes and bioengineering reaping enormous commercial values in the form of material patent, such changes require a society to reassess the present and future status of human tissue within the legal system. This in turn gave rise to a heated debate over how to protect the rights of material donors: property rule vs. no property rule. (Debate and Cases) Property rule recognizes the donors' property rights on human biological materials. Thus, donors can claim real action if there were any bleach of informed consent or a donation contract. Donors can also claim damages to the responsible party when there is an infringement of property rights. Some even uphold the concept of material patents overtaking. From the viewpoint of no property rule, human biological materials are objects separated from donors. Thus, a recipient or a third party will be held liable if there were any infringement of donor's human rights. Human biological materials should not be commercially traded and a patent based on a human biological materials research does not belong to the donor of the tissues used during the course of research. In the US, two courts, Moore v. Regents of the University of California, and Greenberg v. Miami Children's Hospital Research Institute, Inc., have already decided that research participants retain no ownership of the biological specimens they contribute to medical research. Significantly, both Moore and Greenberg cases found that the researcher had parted with all ownership rights in the tissue samples when they donated them to the institutions, even though there was no provision in the informed consent forms stating either that the participants donated their tissue or waived their rights to ownership of the tissue. These rulings were led to huge controversy over property rights on human tissues. This research supports no property rule on the ground that it can protect the human dignity and prevent humans from objectification and commercialization. Human biological materials are already parted from human bodies and should be treated differently from the engineering and researches of those materials. Donors do not retain any ownership. (Suggestions) No property rule requires a legal breakthrough in the US in terms of donors' rights protection due to the absence of punitive damages provisions. The Donor rights issue on human biological material can be addressed through prospective legislation or tax policies, price control over patent products, and wider coverage of medical insurance. (Conclusions) Amid growing awareness over commercial values of human biological materials, no property rule should be adopted in order to protect human dignity but not without revamping legal provisions. The donors' rights issue in material patents requires prospective legislation based on current uncertainties. Also should be sought are solutions in the social context and all these discussions should be based on sound medical ethics of both medical staffs and researchers.

The calculated and measured dielectric constants of (1-x)(A $l_{1}$2/ T $a_{1}$2/) $O_2$-x(M $g_{1}$3/ T $a_{2}$3/) $O_2$ (0$\leq$x$\leq$1.0) solid solutions were investigated by variations of ionic polarizability and crystal structure. (A $l_{1}$2/ T $a_{1}$2/) $O_2$ and (M $g_{1}$3/ T $a_{2}$3/) $O_2$ were orthorhombic and tetragonal trirutile structure, respectively. When (A $l_{1}$2/ T $a_{1}$2/) $O_2$ was substituted by (M $g_{1}$3/ T $a_{2}$3/) $O_2$, the phase transformed to tetragonal structure over 60 mole. Because the total ionic radius of [(Mg+2Ta)/3]$^{4+}$ was slightly bigger than one of [(Al+Ta)/2]$^{4+}$, the lattice parameters increased with an increase of (M $g_{1}$3/ T $a_{2}$3/) $O_2$ substitution. The measured dielectric constant increased with an increase of (M $g_{1}$3/ T $a_{2}$3/) $O_2$ substitution and coincided with dielectric mixing rule and the calculated dielectric constant with the molecular additivity rule. There were some differences between the measured and the calculated dielectric constant. The reason of the lowered dielectric constant comparing with the calculated one was compressed stress due to the electronic structure of tantalum.

This study figures out the concepts of container transport, logistical cost and the distribution of a company through studying documents, and to suggest logistical cost reduction approach, focused on the efficiency of transport which occupied the considerable portion of the total logistical cost of the company. We analyze and discuss the container loading of multiple items for multiple places of departure and arrival through a case study on S company in South Korea. We suggest a direction to reduce the logistical cost of the companies, analyzing the conditions of multiple items loading, and rule-based systems including an algorithm which determines container-loading for minimum freight expenses. We use data mining and OLAP tools of MS Analysis Services to produce loading rules for multiple items loading and generate OLAP cube and decision trees to validate the rules.
Data mining is the work to extract information from existing data file. So, the one of best important thing in data mining process is the quality of data to be used. In this thesis, we propose the data fusion technique using decision rule for data enrichment that one phase to improve data quality in KDD process. Simulations were performed to compare the proposed data fusion technique with the existing techniques. As a result, our data fusion technique using decision rule is characterized with low MSE or misclassification rate in fusion variables.
