저온 해수를 이용한 난방 및 담수화사이클 성능 해석 (Analysis of Heating and Desalination Cycle Using Low Temperature Seawater)

  • 저온 해수에너지를 이용한 난방사이클 및 이와 연계할 수 있는 적정 담수화사이클에 대하여 제안 및 해석을 수행하였다. 난방사이클은 기본 증기압축식 사이클을 이용하여 1단 및 2단압축사이클에 대해 해석을 수행하였고, 담수화사이클은 난방사이클과 연계할 수 있도록 설계하여 해석을 수행하였다. 난방사이클의 증발기 열원으로 5이하의 저온 해수열을 이용하였고, 난방수 온도는 60 이상 공급될 수 있도록 해석하였으며, 사이클 작동유체는 R-134a, R-1234 yf, R-600a를 적용하였다. 사이클 해석 결과, 2단압축사이클을 적용할 경우 1단압축사이클에 비해 모든 냉매에서 압축기 소요동력은 약 15.6% 감소하였고, 성능계수는 약 17.6% 향상되었다. 냉동법 담수화 사이클의 경우 R-134a에 대해서 난방수 60 조건일 때, 1단압축 사이클에 비해 2단압축사이클을 적용할 경우 담수 1kg 생산당 에너지가 약 19.8% 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • In this study, the simulation for performance comparison between basic single stage organic rankine cycle, multi stage reheater cycle and multi stage reheater & recuperator cycle was carried out. The multi stage reheater cycle and multi stage reheater & recuperator cycle was designed to improve the efficiency for organic rankine cycle using heat source from industrial waste heat and heat sink from deep ocean water. R245fa was selected as a refrigerant for the cycle and system efficiencies were simulated by the variation of the heat sink temperature and the cycle classification. Performance characteristics were simulated by using the Aspen HYSYS. It was confirmed that the system efficiency was decreased by the increase of heat sink temperature. These results can be considered to be applied as geo-ocean thermal energy conversion in where plenty of geothermal or ocean thermal resource exist.

  • 가트너(Gartner)의 Hype Cycle 모델은 기술의 성숙도, 수용도, 사업화 수준을 표현하기 위해 널리 활용되고 있다. Hype Cycle 모델에서 기술들은 5단계의 과정을 거치게 되는데 이는 1단계인 발생기로 시작하여, 2단계인 버블기, 3단계인 환멸기, 4단계인 계몽기를 거쳐 5단계인 안정기에 도달하게 된다. 많은 연구들에서 Hype Cycle을 활용하여 기술에 대한 미래 예측의 근거로 많이 활용되고 있지만 이에 대한 검증은 다소 부족한 부분이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 1995년부터 2017년까지의 부상하는 기술을 위한 Hype Cycle(Hype Cycle for Emerging Technologies)에 등장하는 기술들을 분석 하였다. 이를 통하여 최초 등장할 때 1단계가 아닌 단계로 등장한 기술들과 성숙단계가 역전되는 현상을 보인 기술들을 발견하였다. 또한, 1995년부터 2017년까지의 기술 중에서 1-5단계를 거친 기술이 한번도 없었다는 사실을 발견하였다.

다상/다단 부스트 컨버터의 DC-Link 리플 전류 분석 (A Study on DC-Link Current Ripple of Multi-Phase/Multi-Stage Boost Converter)

  • This paper explores the variation of DC-Link current ripple analysis in terms of duty cycle and phase angle of Multi-phase/Multi-stage boost converter. A 2-Stage/1-Stage boost converter DC-Link current is used to determine the difference between the 1st stage diode current and the 2nd stage inductor current. Each stage boost converter diode and inductor current is subordinate to the phase angle and duty cycle. The magnitude of the ripple current is variable according to phase angle and duty cycle. The analysis results are verified by variation of DC-Link current ripple using a 1kW typical 2-stage/1-stage boost converter.

프로판 냉매를 활용한 단일 및 다단 냉동 사이클의 전산모사 비교 연구 (A comparative study on the simulation of single-stage and multi-stage refrigeration cycle using propane as a refrigerant)

  • 본 연구에서는 천연가스의 냉각을 위한 프로판을 냉매로 사용한 단일 및 다단 냉동 사이클에 대한 소요 에너지를 비교하였다. 이를 위해서 천연가스의 온도를$ -37.00^{\circ}C$까지 냉각시키기 위해서 프로판을 냉매로 사용하여 1단 압축 및 2단, 3단, 4단 압축을 이용한 냉동 사이클에 대한 비교 연구를 수행하였다. 전산모사를 위해 한국가스공사로부터 제공받은 천연가스 조성을 적용하였으며, 열역학 모델식으로는 Peng-Robinson 상태방정식을 적용하였다. 냉동기 압축 단수가 증가할수록 응축기의 heatduty는 점점 줄어드는 것을 알 수 있었다. 4단 압축공정의 경우 1단 압축공정에 비해 응축기의 heatduty는 약 20.36% 정도 감소하였으며 냉매의 총 순환 유량은 약 14.53% 감소하였다. 또한 4단 압축공정의 경우 1단 압축공정에 비해 압축기의 총 소요 동력은 약 41.61% 감소함을 알 수 있었다.

가족생활주기에 따른 가계의 투자계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Household Investment Planning According to Family Life Cycle)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine changes in the household investment planning according to the family life cycle, to improve the household investment planning process, and to develop research model. The results were as follows : Household investment planning varied with stages of the family life cycle because the stock of resources shifted and financial goals changed as the family life cycle stage changed. The main financial goals of family in each stage of the life cycle were the purchasing of house in the establishing stage, children's education and marriage in the extending stage, and the elderly's economic welfare in the diminishing stage. Also, in the Ⅰ & Ⅱ stage the most important investment goals were the purchasing of house, children's education in the Ⅲ stage, children's marriage in the Ⅳ stage, and the elderly's economic welfare in the Ⅴ stage. Therefore, the financial goals were recognized as the important goals underlain the investment-planning goals, and alternatives for the accomplishment of investment-planning goals were determined. The results of this study can contribute to establish the long-run investment planning process and improve the level of household's financial well-being.

2단압축 이산화탄소 사이클의 냉방성능 향상 특성에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Cooling Performance Improvement of a Two-stage Compression $CO_2$ Cycle)

  • A $CO_2$ system using the two-stage compression cycle was tested by varying $1^{st}-2^{nd}$ compressor frequencies in the cooling mode. To improve the cooling performance of the two-stage compression $CO_2$ cycle, the following cycle options were applied: a basic cycle, a cycle with an intercooler, a cycle with an IHX (internal heat exchanger), and a cycle with an intercooler and IHX. The cycle with the intercooler-IHX showed the highest cooling capacity improvement among the cycle options at all compressor frequencies. The cycle with the intercooler, the cycle with the IHX, and the cycle with the intercooler-IHX improved the cooling COP by 7, 12, and 15%, respectively, over the basic $CO_2$ cycle when the compressor frequencies for the first and second compressors were 50 Hz and 30 Hz, respectively. In addition, the applications of the selected cycle options enhanced system reliability.

레스토랑 메뉴 수명주기(Menu Life Cycle) 패턴 분석 - T레스토랑 사례를 중심으로 - (Analysis of the Life Cycle of Menus in Restaurants - A Case Study of 'T' Restaurant -)

  • This study investigated the life cycle of menus and made suggestions on the appropriate time for when new menus should be developed. For this purpose, a total of 636 customers who visited 'T' Restaurant more than 25 times in the past three years were used for analysis. After estimating product life cycles based on sales and selling period, an empirical study was conducted. In terms of product life cycle, a growth stage was observed in the category of pasta and pizza in both stores A and B, whereas sales in the rice category stayed constant. Regarding trend in seasonal sales, a big difference was detected between the two stores. While store A was already in the decline stage of the life cycle in all menu categories, store B remained in the growth stage. In terms of menu life cycle, the product life cycle of long-lived products was observed in the pasta category in both stores A and B. While the pizza category was in the growth stage, the product life cycle of long-lived products was observed in the rice category. It is expected that the results of this study could be useful in development of new menus and product life cycle management to fulfill diverse customer needs in the dining-out business.

  • The cooling performance of a transcritical $CO_2$ cycle varies significantly with a variation of refrigerant charge amount. In this study, the performance of the $CO_2$ system was measured and analyzed by varying refrigerant charge amount with a change of cycle option. The applied cycle options are the single-stage compression system, two-stage compression with 1-EEV system, and two-stage compression with 2- EEV system. The optimum normalized charge were 0.363, 0.297, and 0.282 for the two-stage compression with 2-EEV system, two-stage compression with 1-EEV system, and single-stage compression system, respectively.

Ultrastructural Changes in the Cuticle of Palaemon serrifer (Palaemonidae, Crustacea) during the Intermolt Cycle

  • Ultrastructural changes in the cuticle of Paleamon serrifer associated with the intermolt cycle were examined and quantified as changes in the cuticular thickness. The cuticular thickness in each zoea stage increased with time elapsed after molting. The cuticle in the premolt stage was about 1.5 and 3 times thicker than that in the postmolt and intermolt stage, respectively. The cuticle in the premolt stage, including the molting space, was more than 5 times as thick as in the postmolt stage. In addition, newly hatched larvae were individually reared in the laboratory and body length for each specimen was measured frequently until the end of zoea VI. An average increase in body length between one zoea stage and the next is about $10\%$ of the length of the previous stage. Within individual zoea stages, the premolt stage had a body length some 0.3% longer than that of the postmolt stage, indicating a growth rate of about 0.03 mm/d.
