관성능률을 이용한 등식 및 부등식의 증명에 대한 연구 (A Study on Proof of Equalities and Inequalities Using Moment of Inertia)

  • 수학 영재교육에서 여러 학문영역의 지식을 종합하며, 이를 바탕으로 창의적으로 문제를 해결하는 능력과 경험을 가지는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 물리학의 역학분야에서 연구되는 관성능률 개념을 수학적 문제해결의 도구로 활용하여 몇몇 등식들, 부등식들에 대한 새로운 증명방법을 제시하며, 관성능률을 이용한 문제해결 방법의 특징들을 고찰하였다.

확률분포에 의한 지속기간 및 빈도별 가뭄우량 추정 (Estimation of Drought Rainfall According to Consecutive Duration and Return Period Using Probability Distribution)

  • The objective of this study is to induce the design drought rainfall by the methodology of L-moment including testing homogeneity, independence and outlier of the data of annual minimum monthly rainfall in 57 rainfall stations in Korea in terms of consecutive duration for 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12 months. To select appropriate distribution of the data for annual minimum monthy rainfall by rainfall station, the distribution of generalized extreme value (GEV), generalized logistic (GLO) as well as that of generalized pareto (GPA) are applied and the appropriateness of the applied GEV, GLO, and GPA distribution is judged by L-moment ratio diagram and Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test. As for the annual minimum monthly rainfall measured by rainfall station and that stimulated by Monte Carlo techniques, the parameters of the appropriately selected GEV and GPA distributions are calculated by the methodology of L-moment and the design drought rainfall is induced. Through the comparative analysis of design drought rainfall induced by GEV and GPA distribution by rainfall station, the optimal design drought rainfall by rainfall station is provided.

박리를 고려한 지하박스구조물의 화재하중해석 II : 내하력 (Fire Loading Analysis of Underground Box Structure with Considering of Concrete Spalling II : Load Carrying Capacity)

  • 본 논문에서는 1편에서 얻어진 온도분포와 박리시간이력을 이용하여 지하박스구조물의 열응력을 산정하고 이에 기반한 열모멘트를 산청하였다. 또한 이때의 온도분포를 바탕으로 구조물의 열적비선형성을 고려한 극한모멘트를 산정하여 구조물의 내하력을 산정하였다. 그 결과 상부슬래브의 부모멘트 구간은 단면의 온도경사에 의해서 발생하는 열모멘트에 의해 지배받는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 정모멘트 구간은 박리에 의해 화염에 노출된 철근의 항복응력에 의해 지배받는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 면외 바닥하중과 면내 압축력을 받는 플랫플레이트 슬래브에 적용할 수 있는 모멘트증대법을 개발하기 위하여 수치해석연구를 실시하였다. 수치해석연구를 위하여 재료와 기하학적 비선형효과를 고려한 비선형 유한요서 해석프로그램을 개발하였으며, 해석모델로서 국내 철근콘크리트계산규준의 직접설계법에 의하여 설계된 플랫플레이트 슬래브를 사용하였다. 본 연구는 지배하중조건인 수직하중후 1축압축력의 조합하중을 받는 슬래브에 대한 좌굴하중과 모멘트증대계수를 제안하였다. 좌굴하중은 두 개의 요소, 즉 슬래브의 기하학적 형태의 영향을 나타내는 좌굴계수와 압축과 인장 균열에 의한 손상정도를 나타내는 유효휨강성으로 정의된다. 변수연구를 통하여 좌굴계수와 유효휨강성의 변화를 연구하였으며, 이 수치해석결과를 바탕으로 좌굴계수와 유효휨강성의 설계값과, 이를 사용하는 모멘트증대법을 제안하였다.

파임을 가진 국산 침엽수재의 휨성능 및 구조설계기준에 관한 연구 (Bending Properties and Recommened Design Criteria for Domestic Softwood with Notch)

  • Test results of domestic softwood lumber were presented to examine the notch effect of beams and compare to present AIJ(Architecture Institute of Japan) formula in notched wood member especially positioned in bottom side (tension side) of a beam. Notched lumber was tested under following condition : each specimen supported simply, and subjected to third-point loading at points of 1/3 of the span length. Notch was located opposite side to loading direction and notch depth were 1/6, 1/4, 1/3 of beam depth. Deflection and load were measured by digital dial guage each in 25kgf increment. Bending test results were as follows; Mpro/Mmax range (proportional and maxium bending moment ratio in notched beam) was 0.5 - 0.65. It was considered that maxium bending moment was about 1.5 times to proportional bending moment in notched beam and showed same tendency in the test result of ordinary wood specimens. AU standard formula for the tension side notch, Mmat = 0.6 ${\times}$ (Zo $\sigma$), the constant 0.6 was suitble for notch ratio(notch depth to beam depth) 1/6, but this ratio for 1/4, and 1/3 was not. So it is preferable to accept smaller value than 0.6 for notch ratio more than 1/3. These experiment results showed critical effect in tension side notched wood beam especially in greater than notch ratio 1.3 of wood beam. From the above results, it is recommened to revise design formula adoptable to domestic wood constructon member with tension side notched member.

  • In this study, 3-D underwater object recognition using ultrasonic sensor fabricated with PZT-Polymer 1-3 type composites and invariant moment vector and SOFM(Self Organizing Feature Map) neural networks are presented. The recognition rates for the training data and the testing data were 99% and 93%, respectively.

조적채움벽 높이에 따른 철근콘크리트 중력골조의 하중-변위 응답 (Load-displacement Response of Gravity Load Designed Reinforced Concrete Moment Frames with Various Height of Masonry Infill Walls)

  • Lightly reinforced concrete (RC) moment frames may suffer significant damage during large earthquake events. Most buildings with RC moment frames were designed without considering seismic loads. The load-displacement response of gravity load designed frames could be altered by masonry infill walls. The objective of this study is to investigate the load-displacement response of gravity load designed frames with masonry infill walls. For this purpose, three-story gravity load designed frames with masonry infill walls were considered. The masonry infilled RC frames demonstrated larger lateral strength and stiffness than bare RC frames, whereas their drift capacity was less than that of bare frames. A specimen with a partial-height infill wall showed the least drift capacity and energy dissipation capacity. This specimen failed in shear, whereas other specimens experienced a relatively ductile failure mode (flexure-shear failure).

Evaluation of moment amplification factors for RCMRFs designed based on Iranian national building code

  • Geometric nonlinearity can significantly affect load-carrying capacity of slender columns. Dependence of structural stability on columns necessitates the consideration of second-order effects in the design process of columns, appropriately. On the whole, the design codes present a simplified procedure for second order analysis of slender columns. In this approximate method, the end moments of columns resulted from linear analysis (first-order) are multiplied by the recommended moment amplification factors of codes to achieve magnified moments of the second-order analysis. In the other approach, the equilibrium equations are directly solved for the deformed configuration of structure, so the resulting moments and deflections contain the influence of slenderness and increase more rapidly than do loads. The aim of this study is to evaluate the accuracy of moment amplification factors of Iranian national building code whose provisions are similar to the ACI requirement. Herein, finite element method is used to achieve magnified end moments of reinforced concrete moment resisting frames, and the outcomes are compared with the moments acquired based on the proposed approximate method by Iranian national building code. The results show that the approximate method of Iranian code for calculating magnified moments has significant errors for both unbraced and braced columns.

인공위성 자세제어용 Magnetic Torquer 개발 (Development of Magnetic Torquer for Satellite Attitude Control)

  • Magnetic torquer하는 인공위성의 초기 자세제어에 사용 되는 부품으로 지구자기장하에서 자기 쌍극자 모멘트가 받는 비틀림력을 이용하여 인공위성의 회전을 방지하고 특정 방향으로 인공위성의 자세가 안정되게 한다. 본 연구에서 개발 한 magnetic torque는 소형위성에 사용되는 것으로, magnetic torque거 자기적 특성뿐만 아니라 위성 발사 시 및 인공위성 궤도에서의 환경에서도 그 특성이 보장될 수 있게 환경시험을 하였다. 개발한 magnetic torquer는 포화 자기 쌍극자 모멘트가 $15Am^2$, 선형도 특성을 보이는 구간이 ${\pm}12Am^2$이고 선형도가 0.3% 미만이면서 질량이 0.46 kg이고 소비전력이 자기 쌍극자 모멘트가 $10Am^2$에 1 Watt 이였다.

Seismic and progressive collapse assessment of SidePlate moment connection system

  • The performance of a newly generated steel connection known as SidePlateTM moment connection for seismic loading and progressive collapse phenomenon has been investigated in this paper. The seismic evaluation portion of the study included a thorough study on of interstory drift angles and flexural strengths based on 2010 AISC Seismic Provisions while the acceptance criteria provided in UFC 4-023-03 guideline to resist progressive collapse must be satisfied by the rotational capacity of the connections. The results showed that the SidePlate moment connection was capable of attaining adequate rotational capacity and developing full inelastic capacity of the connecting beam. Moreover, the proposed connection demonstrated an exceptional performance for keeping away the plastic hinges from the connection and exceeding interstory drift angle of 0.06 rad with no fracture developments in beam flange groove-welded joints. The test results indicated that this type of connection had strength, stiffness and ductility to be categorized as a rigid, full-strength and ductile connection.
