의치진료 경험 후 치과대학 학생들의 임상진료능력에 대한 자기인식도 (Dental students' clinical confidence in denture treatment after clinical experiences)

  • 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 의치치료 경험이 있는 치과대학 학생들을 대상으로 임상진료능력에 대한 자기인식도를 조사하는 것이다. 재료 및 방법: 2019학년도 치과대학 본과4학년 학생 58명 중 설문에 응한 50명의 학생을 대상으로 하였다. 설문 문항은 치료계획 수립 및 보철 전 치료과정 (4문항), 의치 임상 및 기공과정 (20문항), 의치 임상교육 부분 (4문항)으로 구성하였다. 각 문항은 5점 척도로 응답하도록 하였고, 각 문항에서 4점과 5점('그렇다'와 '매우 그렇다')의 응답비율을 긍정응답률로, 1점과 2점('그렇지 않다'와 '매우 그렇지 않다')의 응답비율을 부정응답률로 분류하였다. 결과: 단계별 진료과정에 대한 설문에서 긍정응답률은 모두 60% 이상으로 전반적으로 학생들의 자기인식도는 높았다. 그러나 졸업 후 독립적인 의치 치료 수행능력에 대해서는 긍정응답률이 48%로 다소 낮았다. 환자관리, 의치에 대한 주의사항 설명, 개인트레이 제작, 박싱 및 작업모형 제작 항목이 긍정응답률이 가장 높았고, 치료계획수립, 최종인상 채득, 서베잉이 가장 낮았다. 결론: 의치치료 경험이 있는 치과대학 학생들은 의치치료 수행능력에 대한 자기인식도는 높은 편이었으나 독립적인 수행능력 증진을 위해서는 교육이 더 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Performance Evaluation of Hypersonic Turbojet Experimental Aircraft Using Integrated Numerical Simulation with Pre-cooled Turbojet Engine

  • The effect of Pre-cooled Turbojet Engine installation and nozzle exhaust jet on Hypersonic Turbojet EXperimental aircraft(HYTEX aircraft) were investigated by three-dimensional numerical analyses to obtain aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft during its in-flight condition. First, simulations of wind tunnel experiment using small scale model of the aircraft with and without the rectangular duct reproducing engine was performed at M=5.1 condition in order to validate the calculation code. Here, good agreements with experimental data were obtained regarding centerline wall pressures on the aircraft and aerodynamic coefficients of forces and moments acting on the aircraft. Next, full scale integrated analysis of the aircraft and the engine were conducted for flight Mach numbers of M=5.0, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, and 2.0. Increasing the angle of attack $\alpha$ of the aircraft in M=5.0 flight increased the mass flow rate of the air captured at the intake due to pre-compression effect of the nose shockwave, also increasing the thrust obtained at the engine plug nozzle. Sufficient thrust for acceleration were obtained at $\alpha=3$ and 5 degrees. Increase of flight Mach number at $\alpha=0$ degrees resulted in decrease of mass flow rate captured at the engine intake, and thus decrease in thrust at the nozzle. The thrust was sufficient for acceleration at M=3.5 and lower cases. Lift force on the aircraft was increased by the integration of engine on the aircraft for all varying angles of attack or flight Mach numbers. However, the slope of lift increase when increasing flight Mach number showed decrease as flight Mach number reach to M=5.0, due to the separation shockwave at the upper surface of the aircraft. Pitch moment of the aircraft was not affected by the installation of the engines for all angles of attack at M=5.0 condition. In low Mach number cases at $\alpha=0$ degrees, installation of the engines increased the pitch moment compared to no engine configuration. Installation of the engines increased the frictional drag on the aircraft, and its percentage to the total drag ranged between 30-50% for varying angle of attack in M=5.0 flight.

Fe-loaded zeolite로 충진된 투수성 반응벽체를 이용한 지반 내 Cd과 Cr(VI)의 동시제거: 모형 토조 실험 (Simultaneous Removal of Cd and Cr(VI) in the Subsurface Using Permeable Reactive Barrier Filled with Fe-loaded Zeolite: Soil Box Experiment)

  • 반응벽제 기법을 이용해 지하수내 6가 크롬($CrO_4^{2-}$)과 카드뮴($Cd^{2+}$)을 동시 제거할 경우, 새로운 반응물질인 Fe-loaded zeolite의 적용성을 평가하기 위해 파일럿 규모의 모형 토조 실험을 수행하였다. 이를 위해, 폭 2.5m, 길이 3m, 높이 1.3m의 표가를 가지는 토조를 모래로 채우고, 양단에 수두차를 주어 지하수 흐름을 유도함으로써 대수층을 묘사하였다. 이후 6가 크롬과 카드뮴을 포함한 용액을 대수층에 주입하여 오염운을 발생시키고, 지속적인 모니터링을 통해 Fe-loaded zeolite로 구성된 모형 반응벽체의 오염운 정화거동을 관찰하였다. 실험결과, Fe-loaded zeolite로 구성된 반응벽체는 6가 크롬과 카드륨 오염운을 효과적으로 제거하며, 반응벽에 고정화된 오염물은 재탈착/유출되지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 Fe-loaded zeolite는, Cr(VI)과 Cd과 같이 서로 다른 이온 형태를 가진 무기 오염 물질로 동시에 오염된 지하수 정화에 반응벽체를 적용함에 있어 효과적인 충진물질이 될 수 있다는 결론을 도출하였다.

  • 세계경제의 G1을 추구하는 중국은 이를 위한 경제적 성장유지를 위해 중국에서 시작하여 중앙아시아를 관통하여 유럽에 이르는 옛 실크로드를 개척하는 경제벨트를 추진 중이다. 본 연구는 이러한 중국의 경제확장정책에 효율적으로 동참하기 위한 방안으로 글로벌 대중국투자와 한국의 대중국 투자에 영향을 미치는 거시적 결정변수들의 영향력 정도를 비교분석한 연구이다. 이를 위해 한국의 대중국 FDI 결정변수와 글로벌 대중국 직접투자 결정변수를 벡터오차수정모형(VECM)을 통해 각각의 결정변수가 투자결정에 미치는 영향력을 분석하였다. 분석을 위한 자료로 중국지역균형발전 의 상징지역이라 할 수 있는 베이징, 상하이, 충칭, 시안 및 썬양 등 5개의 주요도시를 횡단면으로 하고 2003~2013년간 이들 도시에 대한 한국의 대중국투자, 글로벌 대중국투자, GDP, 실업률, 임금 추이를 시계열로 하는 패널을 구성하였다. 본 연구가 기존의 연구와 차별되는 점은 첫째, 기존의 대 중국 외국인투자와 관련 연구가 대부분 외국기업의 초기 대중국 투자지역인 연해지역도시에 집중된 것과는 달리 본 연구는 해안, 내륙, 동북의 주요도시들을 동시에 비교 분석하였다. 둘째, 이들 지역전체에 대해 공통적으로 외국인투자에 영향을 미치는 투자결정변수요인간의 인과관계뿐만 아니라 각 도시 별로 외국인투자결정요인 변수간의 비중과 인과관계를 비교하였다. 셋째, 최근 중국의 서부내륙개발과 연계되어 동북3성개발등의 균형정책에 발맞추어 우리의 대중국투자의 가이드라인을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 패널데이타가 가지는 지역적, 시간적 특이성분석을 통해 외국인투자의 결정요인을 분석하는 방법론과 투자의 효율성을 위해 모형의 추정력을 높일 수 있는 누락된 변수의 의미가 무엇인지에 대한 인식과 이에 대한 연구의 필요성을 제시한 의미가 있다고 하겠다.

Coexistence of plant species under harsh environmental conditions: an evaluation of niche differentiation and stochasticity along salt marsh creeks

  • Background: Ecologists have achieved much progress in the study of mechanisms that maintain species coexistence and diversity. In this paper, we reviewed a wide range of past research related to these topics, focusing on five theoretical bodies: (1) coexistence by niche differentiation, (2) coexistence without niche differentiation, (3) coexistence along environmental stress gradients, (4) coexistence under non-equilibrium versus equilibrium conditions, and (5) modern perspectives. Results: From the review, we identified that there are few models that can be generally and confidently applicable to different ecological systems. This problem arises mainly because most theories have not been substantiated by enough empirical research based on field data to test various coexistence hypotheses at different spatial scales. We also found that little is still known about the mechanisms of species coexistence under harsh environmental conditions. This is because most previous models treat disturbance as a key factor shaping community structure, but they do not explicitly deal with stressful systems with non-lethal conditions. We evaluated the mainstream ideas of niche differentiation and stochasticity for the coexistence of plant species across salt marsh creeks in southwestern Denmark. The results showed that diversity indices, such as Shannon-Wiener diversity, richness, and evenness, decreased with increasing surface elevation and increased with increasing niche overlap and niche breadth. The two niche parameters linearly decreased with increasing elevation. These findings imply a substantial influence of an equalizing mechanism that reduces differences in relative fitness among species in the highly stressful environments of the marsh. We propose that species evenness increases under very harsh conditions if the associated stress is not lethal. Finally, we present a conceptual model of patterns related to the level of environmental stress and niche characteristics along a microhabitat gradient (i.e., surface elevation). Conclusions: The ecology of stressful systems with non-lethal conditions will be increasingly important as ongoing global-scale climate change extends the period of chronic stresses that are not necessarily fatal to inhabiting plants. We recommend that more ecologists continue this line of research.

고체분산체 및 포접화합물을 이용한 난용성 약물인 이부프로펜의 용출 속도의 증가 (Enhancement of Dissolution Rate of Poorly Water-soluble Ibuprofen using Solid Dispersions and Inclusion Complex)

  • Solid dispersions and inclusion complex were prepared for the enhancement of solubility and dissolution rate of poorly water-soluble ibuprofen(IPF) as a model drug. Polyethylene glycol 4000(PEG4000) and polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) were used for the preparation of solid dispersion. $2-Hydroxypropyl-{\beta}-cyclodextrin(2-HP{\beta}CD)$ was also used for the preparation of inclusion complex. The solubility of IPF increased as the concentration of PEG4000, PVP and $2-HP{\beta}CD$ increased. Solubilization capacity of $2-HP{\beta}CD$ was increased about 10 times when compared to PEG 4000 and PVP. The dissolution rate of drug from solid dispersions and inclusion complex in the simulated gastric fluid was enhanced when compared to pure IPF and commercial $BR4^{\circledR}$ tablet as a result of improvement of solubility. In case of solid dispersions, dissolution rate of drug was proportional to polymer concentration in the formulation. The marked enhancement of dissolution rate of drug by inclusion complexation with $2-HP{\beta}CD$ was noted. However, dissolution rate of drug from solid dispersions and inclusion complex in the simulated intestinal fluid was not significant because IPF was readily soluble in that condition. From these findings, water-soluble polymers and cyclodextrin were useful to improve solubility and dissolution rate of poorly water-soluble drugs. However, easiness and reliability of preparation method, scale-up and cost of raw materials must be considered for the practical application of solid dispersion and inclusion complex in pharmaceutical industry.

최소토크맥동을 갖는 BLDC 전동기의 최적제어 (Optimum Torque Control Method for BLDC Motor with Minimum Torque Pulsation)

  • 본 연구에서는 감쇠상 역기전력을 고려한 토크모델이 도통 및 전환구간에서 다름을 보였으며 이를 통해 전환구간에서 나타나는 토크맥동을 수학적으로 해석하였다. 본 논문에서는 전환시간에 의해 나타나는 토크맥동을 저감할 수 있는 새로운 방식을 제안하였다. 첫째, 전환시간을 조절하여 상승상 및 감쇠상의 전류의 기울기를 일정하게 조정하는 절환지연시간제어를 제안하였다. 이를 통하여 비전환상에서의 전류맥동을 저감하였으며 직류단전압과 4배의 역기전력전압의 크기가 같아지는 임계속도 이하에서 토크맥동을 저감할 수 있다. 그러나, 역기전력 및 전환하는 전류의 관계에 의해 토크맥동이 여전히 존재한다. 특히 임계속도 이상에서는 토크맥동율이 크게 증가한다. 둘째, 역기전력과 전류의 관계에 따라 나타나는 토크맥동을 고려한 전환시점제어를 제안하였다. 제안한 방식에 의하여 BLDC 전동기의 토크맥동을 임계속도 이상에서 뿐 만 아니라 전 속도영역에서도 최소화 할 수 있다.

원자흡광법을 이용한 요중 연 배설량의 정량 (Determination of Lead in Urine by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry)

  • Determination of lead in urine is important in industrial hygiene and toxicology. Dithizone method has been principally used for the determination of lead in urine, which gives accurate results in skilful hands but is usually complex and time-consuming. Atomic absorption spectrophotometry is a new simple method and several procedures have been described. However, the influences of pH and the presence of chelating agents during treatment of lead poisoning are not clear. The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of pH and chelating agents on the determination of lead using Shimadzu atomic absorption/flame spectrophotometer, model AA-610. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The atomic absorption spectrophotometry(AAS) could be applied without prior acid digestion to specimens in the absence of chelating agents. The absorbance at $2,170\;{\AA}$, though more sensitive, was more noisy electronically. Therefore, we selected the wavelength of $2,833\;{\AA}$ plus scale expansion. 2. The optimal pH was in the range from 2 to 3. 3. The sensitivity was $0.075{\mu}g/ml/%$ and detection limit was about $0.2{\mu}g/ml$. 4. In the presence of EDTA, lead could not be completely determined without prior acid digestion. 5. On specimens from patients receiving penicillamine therapy, a comparison was made between the values obtained with dithizone method and AAS method with prior acid digestion. The results of comparison showed a very good agreement.

국내외 3차원 가상 의복 착장시스템에 대한 선호도 비교 (The Comparison of User Preference on Domestic versus a Foreign 3D Virtual Try-On System)

  • Several applications of body scanning technology have been commercialized or are currently under development. The virtual fit from 3D scans is most advanced form of virtual try-on. This article is an analysis of the comparison of user preferences for domestic versus foreign 3D virtual try-on systems. For this study, domestic i-Fashion Mall (www.ifashionmall.co.kr) and a Canadian company, My Virtual Model (www.mvm.com) were selected as the most representative online retailers that offer a virtual try-on system. The respondents were comprised of 70 Korean female college students in the age group 20-29. A five point Likert scale was used to evaluate the degree of the preference of virtual avatar and try-on images. T-test, cross table, and a chi-square independence test were conducted for data analysis. The results are as follow. 1. The representation about current looks according to each virtual fit image indicates that MVM is more accurate than i-Fashion Mall. 2. About decision confidence, respondents have decision confidence in i-Fashion Mall in the case of the avatar image; however, respondents have confidence in MVM or the fit image. 3. There were no significant differences in among waist size groups in accuracy, trust of each avatar image, while there were significant differences among waist size groups in the accuracy and trust of each virtual fit image. 4. About ease of use, respondents answered that i-Fashion Mall is superior to MVM. 5. The respondents prioritized the ‘fitting report’ of i-Fashion Mall and ‘Weight loss’ of MVM over other functionalities.

간호대학생의 건강증진 행위 결정요인에 관한 연구 (Study on Health Promoting Behavior Determinant of Nursing Students)

  • This descriptive correlational study was conducted to identify the variables related to a health promoting behavior in nursing students. 238 nursing students were selected by a convenience sampling method. The data were collected by self - reported questionnaires from 12 to November 19, 2001. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression with an SPSS program. The result of this study were as follows: 1. The average score of health promoting behavior was 2.47(SD=0.36)of a 4 point scale. Self actualization (mean=2.94, SD=0.50), interpersonal support (mean=2.91, SD=0.53), stress management(mean=2.58, SD=0.48), health responsibility(mean=2.07, SD=0.48)) nutrition & exercise(mean=2.07, SD=0.48)) were also analyzed. 2. Health promoting behavior showed significant positive correlations with self­esteem(r=0.446, p<0.001) perceived health status(r=0.180, p<0.01), perceived benefits (r=0.183. p<0.01). self-efficacy(r=0.311, p<0.001), social support(r=0.447, p<0.001), control(r=0.169, p<0.01). 3. The combination of self-esteem, social support, affect related to action explained $38.0\%$ of the variance in health promoting behavior. On the basis of the above findings. self-esteem and social support were identified as the variables which explained most of Pender's health promoting model. Nursing strategies enhancing self-esteem and social support which have a more significant effect on health promoting lifestyles should be developed.
