Cassia mimosoides var. nomame was grown at five seeding rates (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 kg/ha) from March 31 to September 21, 1998 at Cheju to determine influence of seeding rate on agronomic characters, and forage yield and quality. Days to flowering increased from 126 to 129 days as seeding rate increased from 10 to 50 kg/ha. The plant height increased from 86 to 99 cm as seeding rate was increased from 10 to 30 kg/hac and then decreased to 93 cm at a rate of 50 kglha. With increasing seeding rate, stem diameter quadratically decreased and the number of branches and green leaves per plant linearly decreased but the number of withering leaves per plant linearly increased. As seeding rate increased &om 10 to 30 kg/ha, fresh forage, dry matter, crude protein, and total digestible nutrients (TDN) yield increased 'from 30.7 to 49.1, 7.5 to 12.2, 0.90 to 1.57 and 4.09 to 7.09 MTha, respectively, and then decreased with further increased seeding rates. Crude protein, ether extract, nitrogen free extract, and TDN wntent increased 12.1 to 14.2% 2.2 to 2.9%, 35.1 to 39.2%, 54.8 to 60.3% respectively, but crude fiber wntent decreased 39.8 .to 33.3% and crude ash declined 4.9 to 3.8% as seeding rate increased from 10 to 50 kgiha. The optimum seeding rate to obtain the highest TDN yield was estimated to be 36kglha. (Key words : Cassia mimosoides var. nomame, Seeding rate, Forage yield, Forage quality)
1. Objectives It is necessary to find the psychological methods to treat not only physical but also mental problems. Because the Sasang Constitutional medicine is based on Mind-Body Medicine, so that the Nature and Emotion-Happiness, Anger, Sorrow, Pleasantness- have to be controlled properly. 2. Methods We analysed the characters of each constitutions, drama therapy and meditation and tried to find the suitable application of one for Sasangin. 3. Results and Conclusions Soeumin is feminine, easy to worry, pessimistic and non-active so they need to express their problems, be encouraged and participate to be one of a group having relationship with other people. Soyangin is out-going, easy to start, not enough to be aware of themselves so they need to relax, calm and try to have an insight into themselves. Taeumin is stable, easy to keep something so they need to communicate well with the exterior. Taeyangin is going forward, masculine and necessary to avoid being angry so they need to calm down and relax. Drama therapy is group work with actors, staffs and audiences so it is useful to express their negative feelings through motions, dances and sounds unless they talk. So it is supposed to be useful far Soeumin and Taeumin. And we can apply it to heal the Emotion because it is based on the relationship and the contact with other people. Meditation is helpful to not only concentrate, relax, have insight into themselves but also calm down anxiety, depression an anger. So it could be the best psychotherapy for Soyangin and Taeyangin. And we can apply it to reflect oneself alone to express their Nature adequately.
Human circulatory system between heart and tissue is not directly connected in normal condition but mandatory to go through the capillary system in order to fulfill its physiologic aim to deliver oxygen and nutrients, etc. to the tissue and retrieve used blood together with waste products from the tissue properly. When abnormal connection between arterial and venous system (AV fistula), these two circulatory systems respond differently to the hemodynamic impact of this abnormal connection between high pressure (artery) and low pressure (vein) system. Depending upon the location and/or degree (e.g. size and flow) of fistulous condition, each circulatory system exerts different compensatory hemodynamic response to this newly developed abnormal inter-relationship between two systems in order to minimize its hemodynamic impact to own system of different hemodynamic characteristics. Pump action of the heart can assist the failing arterial system directly to maintain arterial circulation against newly established low peripheral resistance by the AV fistula during the compensation period, while it affects venous system in negative way with increased venous loading. However, the negative impact of increased heart action to the venous system is partly compensated by the lymphatic system which is the third circulatory system to assist venous system independently with different hemodynamics. The lymphatic system with own unique Iymphodynamics based on peristaltic circulation from low resistance to high resistance condition, also increases its circulation to assist the compensation of overloaded venous system. Once these compensation mechanisms should fail to fight to newly established hemodynamic condition due to this abnormal AV connection, each system start to show different physiologic ${\underline{de}compensation}$ including heart and lymphatic system. The vicious cycle of decompensation between arterial and vein, two circulatory system affecting each other by mutually negative way steadily progresses to show series of hemodynamic change throughout entire circulation system altogether including heart. Clinical outcome of AV fistula from the compensated status to decompensated status is closely affected by various biological and mechanical factors to make the hemodynmic status more complicated. Proper understanding of these crucial biomechanical factors iii particular on hemodyanmic point of view is mandatory for the advanced assessment of biomechanical impact of AV fistula, since this new advanced concept of AY fistula based on blomechanical information will be able to improve clinical control of the complicated AV fistula, either congenital or acquired.
This study was conducted to investigate how to apply the theories of oriental medicine appropriately, which direction should be taken, and how it should be developed The results are as follows. First, to develop medicinal cuisine, it is necessary to grasp the theoretical system, considering Ohaeng and Omi, the five viscera and the six entrails, organs and body, by raising the level of understanding comprehensively about the relationship between the characteristics of each groups of Sasang Constitutions and the theories of Eumyangohaeng, and the relationship between the theory of Kimi. and food, and then to explain developed medicinal cuisine and apply those theories to inventing new ones. Secondly, to develop medicinal cuisine for health enhancement, it is also required not only to consider constitutions but also to suggest the need of knowledge for moderation in terms of regimen along with the theory of Kimi. Thirdly, to develop medicinal cuisine according to the perspective of Kimi. Theory, what should be taken into account is not only the understanding of the characteristics of food materials, but also the properties of them that the theory of Kimi, Eumyangohaeng, and Sasang Constitutions share so that it is possible to invent medicinal cuisine which is good for anybody to protect disease specific to a certain group of constitutions with, and serves as the dietary regimen customed to each constitution group. Lastly, the scientific effect of the medicinal cuisine which is developed according to the theory of Kimi., Eumyangohaeng, and Sasang Constitutions should be verified by scientific researches and clinical experiments. And it is believed to be essential for the government to make efforts to set a standard and laws to validate the medicinal effects and the process of assessment so that the systematic development can be encouraged, and to prepare guidance to food development for national health improvement.
As of today-half a century has passed after 1945, the liberation from Japanese imperialism-it's significant to introspect our culture. On the one hand our culture has succeeded due to the peculiar history, but on the other hand it hasn't. So to speak, it has gained in Quantity but lost in Quality. There are keen, international competition and exchange in the modern culture. So the Qualitive success of modern design depends on if it had an original character or not. According to Korean rapid industrialization, technological extence, and economic growth, the export has increased greatly, but package design hasn't been match for them. Korean expoters have been meeting with cutthroat competition in world market. Under these circumstances it's very important that we have a real understand and interest in our culture, we strengthen the competitive power of home products with good package design. This is our age of not home market but world market. We live in an age when design wins, so that we have to develop the good design native to Korea. Many designers have proposed their opinions with the characteristic designs, but it has been only a fragmentary and passive method. We must seek for the new method more positively. The effective and proper method resolves itself into the following four points. First, to understand Korean history and culture. Second, to have the exact grip of this economic situation. Third, to promote the national emotion. Fourth, in conclusion, to accord the package design with them. We cannot put off this task to overcome the cultural subordination, to place Korea on a firm cultural basis in the world, and to contribute to the cultural exchange of package design. This study seeks to identify the reform of vocational education plans so as to bring about a seamless transition from school to work. It puts forward a number of suggestions based upon an analysis of vocational education policies in Korean and U.S. schools, concerning the government's role, partnerships between education and industry, the educational system, curriculum and work-based learning. First, not only government initiatives but also close partnerships between education and industry are essential to help vocational education in school the transition to employment. Education and industry should work closely together to standardize certificate related skills and to have these skills reflected in the curriculum. Also the government should strive to provide guidelines for work-based learning and formulate standards for supervision and evaluation. Second, to facilitate the school to work transition, comprehensive schools should be promoted so that students have access to a greater ranger of vocational education. At the same time, an assessment system that certifies a mastering of the basic skills of those who undergo the education should be introduced, and it should be related to earn these certificates. Third, standardized vocational skills should be included in the curriculum so that students can acquire skills that are useful for industry. All the students in vocational and general high schools should have access both to general education, the foundation for lifelong learning and for employ ability, and to basic occupational skills which empower students in dealing with rapid changes of technology. Also a range of specialized vocational curricula should be offered so that students can opt for more specialized occupations; and they can select careers appropriate to their capability. Fourth, so that all students to have the opportunity to take part in work-based education, which is closely related to employment, various work-based learning programs should be offered to meet the needs of students and their educational conditions. Companies should for their part train students thoroughly in accordance with the standards of work-based education. In addition, supervisors should be stationed both in schools and companies in order to administer the students' work-based learning.
Purpose: This study aimed to explore methods to improve the quality recognition and satisfaction level of non-face-to-face lectures among students in the departments of dental technology and dental hygiene. Methods: This survey was conducted to assess the status and preference of non-face-to-face lectures and the level of awareness and satisfaction regarding the quality of these lectures among 179 students of dental technology and 295 students of dental hygiene. Statistical analyses were performed using frequency analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA (post-hoc Duncan), Welch analysis (post-hoc Games-Howell), and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Results: Factors that affected the ability to assess the quality of non-face-to-face lectures were the department, the method of non-face-to-face lectures, the most preferred method for conducting lectures, the level of awareness regarding the quality of face-to-face lecture, and satisfaction level. It has 71.5% explanatory power. Moreover, factors that influenced the satisfaction level of non-face-to-face lectures included the department, grade, the highest satisfied non-face-to-face teaching method, the most effective theoretical non-face-to-face teaching method, the most preferred teaching methods, and the ability to assess quality of face-to-face lectures. It has 46.8% explanatory power. Conclusion: Non-face-to-face classes should be designed and developed for web-based programs to improve the motivation and achievement level of the students and encourage interaction between the professors and students. Our findings suggest that educators should strive to achieve optimal educational effects by efficiently combining face-to-face and non-face-to-face lectures.

Background: To survey and analyze awareness and recognition during a non-face-to-face lecture, and satisfaction with among dental technology students. Methods: Total 179 undergraduates were surveyed from the Department of Dental Technology. Frequency analysis, cross analysis, independent sample t-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used for analyzing statistics. Results: Overall satisfaction with the non-face-to-face lecture was the highest (p=.037) while watching a recorded lecture in the theory curriculum subject. In the case of practical subjects, satisfaction with face-to-face lectures appeared to be higher (p=.039) compared to non-face-to-face lectures. Factors influencing the recognition of non-face-to-face lecture quality included awareness of a place to conduct a class and of face-to-face delivered lecture quality, satisfaction with face-to-face lecture, and satisfaction with non-face-to-face lecture. Factors affecting satisfaction with a non-face-to-face lecture included a place to conduct a class, the most effective theory non-face-to-face class method, the method of having been experienced the most among non-face-to-face lecture methods, and the recognition of non-face-to-face lecture quality. Conclusions: Future educational environment should include combined face-to-face and non-face-to-face lectures. An efficient educational indicator will be needed to evaluate learners' assessments and opinions about online classes, followed by its application to teaching methods.

Background: This study aimed to identify the characteristics of the referral and return of patients to clinics in the endocrinology and cardiology departments at the National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital to evaluate the "referral and return of patients to clinics" program and reduce the rate of returning patients. Methods: From May 2018 to December 2020, we identified the number of visits to referral hospitals and hospital usage status at Ilsan Hospital after returning to clinics. We also identified the patients who returned to Ilsan Hospital within 6 months, defined as "failure to transport," among those recommended to be transported to clinics of the Medical Cooperation Center. Additionally, we evaluated the characteristics of the "failure to transport" patients. Results: Among the returning patients, the rate of visiting Ilsan Hospital within 6 months was higher in cardiology than in endocrinology (25.1% vs. 16.7%). Older age, more severe disease, and more number of visits to the department were associated with a high rate of failure to transport. The rate of failure to return was low in cases diagnosed with hyperlipidemia/lipoprotein metabolism disorder. With respect to diabetes, the rate of failure to transport differed according to each type of diagnosis of diabetes. Conclusion: The success rate of the "referral and return of patient to clinics" program differed based on each patient's characteristics, department of visit, and diagnosis. Individualizing according to the visit department and diagnosis is required to ensure successful transfers, and infrastructure expansion and institutional arrangements must be facilitated.

Background: Golf is a popular sport involving overhead activity and engagement of the rotator cuff (RC). This study aimed to determine to what level golfers were able to return to golf following RC repair, the barriers to them returning to golf and factors associated with their failure to return to golf. Methods: Patients preoperatively identifying as golfers undergoing RC repair at the study centre from 2012 to 2020 were retrospectively followed up with to assess their golf-playing status, performance and frequency of play and functional and quality of life (QoL) outcomes. Results: Forty-seven golfers (40 men [85.1%] and 7 women [14.9%]) with a mean age of 56.8 years met the inclusion criteria, and 80.1% were followed up with at a mean of 27.1 months postoperatively. Twenty-nine patients (76.3%) had returned to golf with a mean handicap change of +1.0 (P=0.291). Golf frequency decreased from a mean of 1.8 rounds per week preinjury to 1.5 rounds per week postoperatively (P=0.052). The EuroQol 5-dimension 5-level (EQ-5D-5L) index and visual analog scale (EQ-VAS) score were significantly greater in those returning to golf (P=0.024 and P=0.002), although functional outcome measures were not significantly different. The primary barriers to return were ipsilateral shoulder dysfunction (78%) and loss of the habit of play (22%). Conclusions: Golfers were likely (76%) to return to golf following RC repair, including mostly to their premorbid performance level with little residual symptomatology. Return to golf was associated with a greater QoL. Persistent subjective shoulder dysfunction (78%) was the most common barrier to returning to golf.
