The Effects of Pretreatment with Carbon Tetrachloride on the Absorption and Excretion of Sulfisoxazole (사염화탄소(四鹽化炭素) 간장장해(肝臟障害) 동물(動物)에서의 Sulfisoxazole의 흡수(吸收)와 배설(排泄)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • This paper attempted to investigate the effect of pretreatment with carbon tetrachloride on absorption, excretion, protein binding, and biological half-life of sulfisoxazol from rats and rabbits. Absorption of sulfisoxazol was found to decrease in severe damage rats, compared with that of normal rats, but in mild rats, absorption of sulfisoxazol was similar to that of nomal rats. Absorption of sulfisoxazol was decreased significantly in severe damage rabbit pretreated with carbon tetrachloride but in mild damage rabbit, absorption of sulfisoxazol was not influenced significantly. Pretreatment with carbon tetrachloride gave the effect on clearance of sulfisoxazol in part but protein binding percent of sulfisoxazol was not influenced by concentration of carbon tetrachloride.

  • Bellows are suggested as energy absorbing elements for automotive steering systems. A metallic bellows has nearly constant axial collapse load which is desirable as an energy absorbing element for a steering column. Axial collapsability and bending flexibility of bellows can be utilized to reduce upward tilting and backward displacement of steering columns in the early stage of high speed crash. Since bending flexibility of bellows has negative effects on the vibration characteristics of steering columns it is necessary to maximize the first natural frequency of a bellows while maintaining its plastic bending flexibility and axial collapse load. An effort is made to attain optimum design of bellows based upon the Taguchi method. A general guideline for design of bellows is suggested.

  • The effort of proteolytic enzyme on the absorption and excretion of sulfadimethoxine are investigated in this paper. The rat small intestinal absortion of sulfadimethoxine in the presence of proteolytic enzymes such as chymotrypsin and trypsin are increasingly absorbed more than 20% during 3 hours. Blood levels of sulfadimethoxine following oral administration are not effected by proteolytic enzyme, but both on the high concentration of chymotrypsin and the low concentration of trypsin at only 3 and 4 hours are increased(P<0.05) from that of the control . Blood levels of sulfadimethoxine after duodenum injection are remakably enhensed to correspand to 18.5-25.0% (P<0.01) by the proteolytic enzyme concentration respectively. Proteolytic enzymes did not give influence on excretions of sulfadimethoxine after duodenum and oral administration.

  • 178 naturally exfoliated maxillary deciduous central incisors, 149 deciduous lateral incisors of children at exfoliation stage were studied on the degree and the tendency of the root resorption, and the age of exfoliation of the deciduous central and lateral incisors. The results were as follows; 1. The root of maxillary deciduous central and lateral incisors tended to be resorbed disto-lingually. 2. The age of exfoliation of maxillary deciduous central incisor was 7.27 year in male, 7.01 year in female, and the age of exfoliation of maxillary deciduous lateral incisor was 8.22 year in male, 7.77 year in female. 3. The exfoliation age of maxillary deciduous central and lateral incisors was earlier in female than in male.

하나로 1차 배관의 중성자 발생원 분석

  • 하나로 1차 배관에서 중성자를 측정하고 발생 원인을 분석하였으며, 이를 통하여 중성자 계측 계통을 이용하여 핵연료 파손을 감시할 수 있는 가능성을 검토하였다. 중성자 측정에는 BF$_3$비례 계수관을 이용하였고, 1차 배관의 주 방사선원인 N-16에 의한 감마선 펄스의 영향은 무시 할 정도로 작았다. 중성자의 발생 원인을 규명하기 위해 원자로 정지 전후에 중성자 계수율의 변화를 측정하였다. 편자로의 정상 운전시 1차 배관에서 발생되는 중성자는 물속의 중수소가 고에너지 감마선을 흡수하여 방출하는 광중성자와 핵연료의 표면 오염에 의해 발생된 지발 중성자라고 가정하여 원자로 정지 전후의 발생량 변화를 계산하였다. 계산 결과와 측정값을 비교하여 1차 배관 주변에서 측정된 중성자 가운데 지발 중성자가 약 70 %, N-16에 의한 광중성자가 약 30%임을 확인하였다. 핵연료의 표면 오염 정도로 발생하는 지발 중성자도 민감하게 측정되므로, 이러한 지발 중성자 계측법이 핵연료의 손상 여부를 알아낼 수 있는 유용한 방법임을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Effects of some mineral nutrients on the chlorine absorption by the plants, on the chemical constituents and physical properties of leaves were investigated tinder the paddy field and pot conditions. The chlorine content of cured leaf grown in paddy field was high in iron and manganese application groups and highest in combined application of iron and manganese. Lime application inhibited the absorption of chlorine and increased the yield and quality of cured leaf, and inhibited the absorption of iron and manganese those causing the grey leaf. Lime application reduced the leaf chlorine content and rate of muddy grey leaf by increasing the soil pH in acid soil.

  • The objectives of this paper are to measure the heat transfer and pressure drop of the heat transfer tube for an evaporator of absorption system applications. Five types of heat transfer tubes with different shape and heat transfer area are tested in the present experiment. Heat transfer and pressure drop performance of heat transfer tubes are measured in various operating conditions, and compared each other. The results show that the heat transfer rate of thermoexcel notch tube and low fin tube increases about 27.6% and 11.6% at the refrigerant flow rate 250 kg/h compared with that of bare tube, respectively. The thermoexcel notch tube is shown the best performance considering pressure drop and heat transfer coefficient.

  • Surveying the root resorption of the mandibular deciduous teeth in 967 children, (Male 493 Female 474) from 3 to 12 years old by orthopantomography, the author obtained the following results. 1) Female in the root resorption of the deciduous teeth was earlier than male. 2) The stages of initial resorption of the deciduous teeth were as follow. central incisor 4 years lateral incisor 4 years 2 months cuspid 6 years first decid uous molar 6 years second deciduous molar 6 years 5 months 3) The exfoliational stages ($R_5$) of the deciduous teeth were as follow. central incisor 6 years 8 months lateral incisor 7 years 2 months cuspid 9 years 10 months first deciduous molar 10 years 3 months second deciduous molar 11 years.

  • 린 화이민의 작품을 왜 대만 문화의 상징이라고 하는가. 린 화이민의 작품세계는 대만의 문화를 흡수하는 것을 목표로 삼았다. 린 화이민의 작품에 대한 분석과, 무용평론가들의 견해를 통해 린 화이민의 작품 스타일은 전기와 후기의 두 단계로 나뉜다. 전기에는 쌀, 사진, 분향이라는 세 가지 주요 요소들을 활용해 대만의 풍토에 대한 인식을 알리는 것을 목표로 작품 작업을 진행했다. 후기에는 주로 작품에 중국 특색을 띈 태극관, 무술, 서예 등을 도입해 창작에 영양을 받는 등 중국 문화를 구현하기 위해 개인적인 스타일을 만들었다. 따라서 린 화이민의 작품은 대만 문화의 결실을 농축하고 전통문화를 살리는 수단이 되기도 했다.

Effects of Concentration of Nutrient Solution and Irrigation Frequency on Growth and Flower Quality of Cut Chrysanthemum Grown Hydroponically in Perlite (국화의 펄라이트 양액재배시 양액농도 및 관주주기가 생육과 절화 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effects of nutrient solution concentration, irrigation frequency on growth, flowering, and cut flower longevity of Dendranthema grandiflorum (Ramat.) Kitamura 'Shuhouno-chikara' hydroponically grown in perlite media. Not only stem length but also mineral contents of each plant organ in nutrient solution culture were much higher than those in soil culture. 1/2S of nutrient solution was good at early stage, but 1S of nutrient solution was better as chrysanthemum growth progressed. Among different concentrations of nutrient solution, mineral contents of each plant part showed no significant difference. 1S treatment of nutrient solution increased the vase life by 3 days than 2S treatment. The growth and mineral contents of each plant organ were great in plants irrigated 8 times a day, because of high moisture contents of medium and high water availability, followed by more frequent nutrient replenishment near roots. There was no correlation between nutrient solution concentration and vase life of cut flower grown in nutrient solution culture. Cut flowers irrigated twice per day had the longer vase life than other treatments (4, 8 times).
