Power Spectrum of Jittered Random Pulse Train (불규칙 Pulse 신호의 전력 Spectrum)

  • The power spectrum of jittered pulse train is derived for the independent stationary pulse sequence with a stationary Gaussian phase jitter. For the unipolar pulse train signal, it is shown that as the phase jitter increases, the continuous Part of the power spectrum increases chile the discrete part decreases.

Fuzzy Nonlinear Adaptive Control of Overhead Cranes for Anti-Sway Trajectory Tracking and High-Speed Hoisting Motion (고속 권상운동과 흔들림억제 궤적추종을 위한 천정주행 크레인의 퍼지 비선형 적응제어)

  • Nonlinear adaptive control of overhead cranes is investigated for anti-sway trajectory tracking with high-speed hoisting motion. The sway dynamics of two dimensional underactuated overhead cranes is heavily coupled with the trolley acceleration, hoisting rope length, and the hoisting velocity which is an obstacle in the design of decoupling control based anti-sway trajectory tracking control law To cope with this obstacle. we propose a fuzzy nonlinear adaptive anti-sway trajectory tracking control law guaranteeing the uniform ultimate boundedness of the sway dynamics even in the presence of uncertainties in such a way that it cancels the effect of the trolley acceleration and hoisting velocity on the sway dynamics. In particular. system uncertainties, including system parameter uncertainty unmodelled dynamics, and external disturbances, are compensated in an adaptive manner by utilizing fuzzy uncertainty observers. Accordingly, the ultimate bound of the tracking errors and the sway angle decrease to zero when the fuzzy approximation errors decrease to zero. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Study of Structural Stability and Seismic Performances of 4-Way Sway Prevention Brace (4방향흔들림방지버팀대의 구조 안정성 및 내진 성능 연구)

  • Purpose: In this study, we developed a 4-way sway prevention brace that efficiently reduces the installation area and has excellent stability and seismic performance compared to the conventionl sway prevention brace used in existing firefighting facilities. The performance and reliability of the developed 4-way way prevention brace were analyzed by the tensile, compression tests and seismic tests. Method: As the static test, 4-way sway prevention braces were installed on the horizontal and vertical pipes to perform the tensile and compression tests based on the KFI certification standard and the maximum movement was measured at the rated load. As a dynamic test, 4-way sway prevention braces were installed in the pipes filled with water, and the test response spectrum to the input excitation wave were measured through the acceleration sensors. After the seismic tests, separation, failure, and local deformation of the pipes, and 4-way sway prevention braces were not observed. Result: The results of the tensile and compression tests indicated that the maximum movement of the pipe during tension and compression was 50% to 70% or less compared to the certification values, indicating that the performances of the 4-way sway prevention braces were very excellent. The results of the the seismic tests indicated that the test response spectrum of the 4-way sway prevention braces is within the required response spectrum. Conclusion: In this study, it was found that the 4-way sway prevention braces satisfied the KFI certification standard and were superior compared to the existing sway prevention brace in terms of the stability, cost, and installation area.

Variation of nitric oxide concentrations in response to shaking stress in the Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum (일산화질소 (nitric oxide) 정량을 통한 바지락(Ruditapes philippinarum) 의 흔들림 스트레스 측정)

  • This study aimed to evaluate the effects of shaking stress in the hemolymph of the Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum by quantification of nitric oxide (NO) levels. The clams were divided into 3 groups as follows: clams placed in a plain container (control), clams injected with nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (NAME, an NO inhibitor), and clams in a container filled with nylon fiber at a density of $1kg/m^3$. Subsequently, each group was placed in sea water and shaken at 100 rpm for 6 h. The concentration of NO was quantified by using DAF assay and Griess assay. Both the assays showed that while shaking significantly increased the NO concentration, the NO inhibitor reduced the NO concentration in the hemolymph of the clams tested. In addition, the nylon fiber, which was used as a filler, effectively prevented the increase in NO concentration. This result suggests that measurement of NO concentration is a useful tool for evaluation of physiological stress in marine bivalves. In addition, it should be considered that a filler is necessary when dredge fishing or the suspended clam culture method is developed.

Influence of the Silver Line Dance Effects on the Elderly Balance During Static Standing (여성노인들의 라인댄스 활동이 정적 직립 균형성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of line dance activity on the balance factors during static standing to reveal the exercise intervention for fall prevention. A 15-week line dance programme was applied to 16 elderly females who aged more than 65 years in the community. Balance ability during static standing was evaluated by the range of center of pressure(cop), the velocity of cop, and sway area that calculated on the basis of ground reaction force data, forces, and moments. The range and velocity of cop in the anterio-posterior were significantly reduced after line dance(p<.01, p<.05, respectively), but change in those of cop in the medio-lateral was not found. It was demonstrated that 16-week line dance activities allow more effective in anterio-posterior stability and sway area of static standing. It was suggested that the effect of fall prevention exercise should be studied more associate with fall from vestibular and sensory system as future study.

An Efficient Vehicle Image Compensation Algorithm based on Histogram Equalization (히스토그램 균등화 기반의 효율적인 차량용 영상 보정 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient vehicle image compensation algorithm based on Histogram Equalization. The proposed a vehicle image compensation algorithm was elimination to the vehicle image shake using motion compensation and motion estimation. And, algorithm was calculated the histogram of pixel values from each sub-image by dividing the image as the constant size areas in order to image enhancement. Also, it had enhancement to the image by adjusting the gradient. The proposed algorithm was evaluate the difference between of performance and time, image by applied to the IP, and were confirmed the image enhancement with removing of vehicle camera image shake. In this paper, the proposed vehicle image enhancement algorithm was demonstrated effectiveness when compared to existing vehicle image stabilization, because the elimination of shake for the vehicle images used real-time processing without using a memory. And it was obtained the reduction effect of the computation time by the calculated through block matching, and obtained the better restoration result for naturalness of the image with the lowest noise.

  • The control objectives in this paper are to move the gantry of a container crane to its target position and to suppress the transverse vibration of the payload. The crane system is modeled as an axially moving string equation, in which control inputs are applied at both ends, through the gantry and the payload. The dynamics of the moving string are derived using Hamilton's principle for systems with changing mass. The Lyapunov function method is used in deriving a boundary control law, in which the Lyapunov function candidate is introduced from the total mechanical energy of the system. The performance of the proposed control law is compared with other two control algorithms available in the literature. Experimental results are given.

A Study on the Dynamic Behavior Characteristics of a Small Fishing Crane (소형 어로 크레인의 동적 거동 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The dynamic behavior characteristics of a small fishing crane for inshore and coastal fishing vessels was experimentally analyzed in order to improve the fishing operation and to reduce considerably manual work of fisherman. The small fishing crane was designed to be controlled electro-hydraulically by means of proportional valves and solenoid valves, and also to be controlled the speed of each operation. The dynamic behavior characteristics was investigated by measuring the changes of parameters such as oil pressure, swing angle of load, load tension, the lifting angle and the swing angle of crane arm when the arms extended in a side way was given a test load. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The designed small fishing crane can be proportionally controlled by means of proportional valves and rapidly by operating the solenoid valves, respectively. The capacity, turning angle, maximum reach of crane were 2 T-M, $180^\circ$, 3.7m, respectively. 2. The vertical change of crane arm on the extension of lifting cylinder was $1.2^\circ$/cm, and the swing speed of crane arm due to the extension of swing cylinder by on/off operations of solenoid valves was $15^\circ$/sec, with the swing period of 1.4 sec and the angle fluctuation of $\pm$11.0$^{\circ}$. 3. When changing simultaneously the horizontal and vertical positions of the lifting load by on/off operations of solenoid valves, the swing and lifting speeds of crane arm were $4.46^\circ$/sec and $6.4^\circ$/sec, respectively. 4. The movements of the designed crane were particularly smooth as they are controlled with the aid of proportional valves than by means of solenoid valves.

Motion detection technique that use pixel value of car image that use in existing need memory to store background image. Also, there is sensitive shortcoming at increase of execution time by data process of pixel unit and noise. Suggested technique that compare extracting motion information by block unit to do to have complexion that solve this shortcoming and is strong at noise. Because motion information by block compares block characteristic value of image without need frame memory, store characteristic cost by block of image. Also, can get effect that reduce influence about noise and is less sensitive to flicker etc.. of camera more than motion detection that use pixel value in process that find characteristic value by block unit.
