Mobile communications is argued to reshape and activate the existing space by increasing 'mobile communicability en route' and 'real time interaction.' This study is designed to make an empirical analysis on how different the use of a cellular phone is in each different space. In this study, the space is divided into three distinct parts including the private, social and public space. First, spatial micro-coordination and experience of polysemy of place are widely observed in the use of a mobile phone in the private space. Secondly, it is found that a mobile phone contributes to extending the scope of social contacts which in turn compliments the existing social relationship. Moreover, a full-time intimate community that is connected via a mobile phone results in reshaping the social space. Lastly, the study shows that the usage pattern of a mobile phone varies depending on the type of public space. The technological development is envisaged to lead to more demand for the public space while facilitating the use of the public space.

This study attempts to verify the relational structure of adolescent's emotional problems, smart phone dependency and school life adjustment from a perspective of Glasser (1998)'s choice theory. For this purpose, this study utilized the second year data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey Data. From the results of the analysis, the most influential variable affecting adolescent's school life adjustment was found to be the sense of community, and adolescent's emotional problems were found to have a effect upon school life adjustment and smart phone dependency based on the choice theory. This study discussed issues of cultivating the sense of community to improve adolescent's school life adjustment, and developing counseling program and reinforcing the counseling personnel with improvement of contingent employment to alleviate smart phone dependency and emotional problems.

본 고는 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 어린이의 휴대전화 사용에 대해, 휴대전화기에서 복사되는 전자파 에너지가 성인과 달리 작용할 가능성이 있는지에 관한 연구 또는 보고 자료를 수집하여 다양한 각도에서 조사한 것이다. 공학적 관점에서 휴대전화 사용에 있어 어린이와 성인의 전자파 흡수율에 차이를 가져올 수 있는가에 관한 연구 결과를 기술하고 있으며, 각각 형태적 측면에서 성인과 어린이를 나타내는 각기 다른 크기의 머리 형태에서 전자파 흡수율의 차이가 있는지와 생체의 재료(재질) 측면에서 연령층에 따라 조직의 전기적 특성에 변화를 알아보았다. 그 다음 휴대전화기에 가장 가까이 위치하는 인체 머리의 성장과정 상의 변화를 살펴봄으로써 생물학적 측면에서 어린이가 성인에 비해 취약할 가능성이 있는지 검토하였다 그러나 이러한 가능성을 현재로서는 명확히 판단하기 어려우며, 원인 규명을 위한 추가 연구 및 다양한 연구 분야간 협력이 요구됨을 알 수 있었다.

이동통신에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있는 이즈음 Battery의 효율적인 사용이 휴대 전화기에 있어서 중요한 문제점으로 부각되고 있다. 본 논문은 LTI에서 1991년 후반부터 개발을 시작 1992년에 개발완료한 아날로그 방식의 5.8V 휴대전화기용 고주파전력 증폭기에 관한 것으로 이것의 일반적인 설계 방법과, 시험 및 생산 방법을 기술하고자 한다. 이와 같이 설계된 고주파 전력증폭기는 양산성이 있으며, 효율 60% typ. 출력 31.5dBm 이상 그리고 2차 3차, 및 4차 고조파가 모두 30 dBc 미만이며 그 외에 load missmatch, Noise, Spurious 특성이 휴대전화기에 적용하기 알맞게 안전하도록 설계되어 있다. 또한 장착의 효율성을 위해 크기를 최소화하여 1.4cc의 체적을 갖고 있다.

We lead a life in our community, beginning a new relationship with a stranger or maintaining or stopping existing relationships. Relationships with others are sustained through social activities based on communication. Generally speaking, by exchanging feelings and information through communication, relationships are formed and continued, and strengthened through active communication As a result of the development of technologies and information technology over the recent 10 years, a mobile phone has stood as a communication channel, and now it has become such a universal, and highly intimate and important means of communication that almost all the Koreans use more often than wired phones. Today, people have their communication channel available for others, by using a mobile phone at any time and anywhere. Like this, mobile phones have been playing a key role in helping people maintain, repair and strengthen their personal relationship, but from the perspective of personal relationship management, they still remain as an aid to help communication, failing to provide a positive help for actual relationship management. This study was designed to provide services supporting user's personal relationship management, focusing on the use of mobile phones as a major tool of communication, aiming to enable users to understand current state of their relationship and make relationship management efforts, or communication behaviors, by informing who needs communication, on the basis of data on mobile phone calls. To this end, the study established a method to extract intimacy between users and callers and develop a prototype of services supporting personal relationship management, using relationship characteristics in terms of mobile communication.

Four countries are participating in exposure assessment for Mobi-Kids Study. Each country evaluates RF and ELF exposure from mobile phones considering telecommunication system and environment in the corresponding area. The results will be used to determine accumulation exposure level of each subject in case and control groups to assess the potential carcinogenic effects of childhood and adolescent exposure to radio frequency(RF) and extremely low frequency( ELF) from mobile phones on the central nervous system. This paper analyzes exposure types of mobile phones which have been used in Korea for about 10 years, based on Mobi-Kids protocol. It includes investigation of mobile phone models released in the domestic market, design of numerical phone models to represent each exposure type, and measurement of ELF radiation from mobile phones.

최근 휴대전화 문자스팸 차단 강화로 인한 풍선효과로 휴대전화 음성스팸이 지속적으로 증가하고 있고, 2015년 3월부터는 음성스팸 건수가 문자스팸 건수를 역전해서 급속도로 증가하고 있어 효율적으로 음성스팸을 차단할 수 있는 시스템 구축의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에, 음성스팸 신고번호와 음성스팸 가상 트랩(실제 존재하지 않는 가상의 휴대전화번호를 적용)을 통해 탐지된 내용을 기반으로 음성스팸 전화번호 차단리스트를 생성하고 이를 이통사에게 제공하여 일정기간 동안 음성호를 차단하는 음성스팸 실시간 차단시스템을 설계하고자 한다.

최근 모바일 기기의 대중화에 따라 교육 분야에서도 휴대전화 단말기를 비롯한 모바일 디바이스 기반의 다양한 응용 소프트웨어 연구가 활발하다. 휴대전화 단말기는 휴대성과 이동성, 그리고 개인성의 장점이 있으며, 교육현장의 교사들은 시간과 장소의 구애를 받지 않고 필요한 정보를 관리할 수 있다. 이러한 추세에 맞추어 본 연구는 기존의 PDA에 적용되었던 전자교무수첩 시스템의 문제점을 개선하여 보다 실용적이고 대중적인 휴대전화 단말기에 전자교무수첩 시스템을 적용하여 설계하고 구현한다.

The purpose of the present driving simulation study was to examine the effect of cellular-phone use on driving performance when required driving speeds were systematically varied(60, 80, 100, or 120km/h) while either using cellular-phones(experimental condition; Hands-Free or Hands-Held) or not(control condition). Driving performance was measured both by longitudinal vehicle control(i.e., variabilities in driving speed and headway) and lateral vehicle control(variabilities in lane position). The results can be summarized as followings: (1) The significant difference in driving speed variation between the two cellular-phone usage conditions was found only at relatively higher driving speed conditions(i.e., over 80km/h). (2) Only in the experimental condition where cellular-phone was required to be used while driving, the magnitudes of variation in driving speed, headway and lane position were gradually increased as the required driving speeds were increased(this tendency was not found in control condition). And. (3) the dependent measures of this study appeared to suggest that cellular-phone usage itself (rather than the types of cellular-phone) had significant impact on driving performance. Finally, implication and issues related to this study were discussed.

휴대전화의 전자기파나 송전선, 가전제품 등에서 발생하는 전자기장, 휴대전화의 가입자가 1996년 말까지 300만명을 넘었고 각종 전자 제품에 둘러싸인 생활이 당연하게 여겨지는 상황에서 '전자파'의 영향에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 전자기파라는 말은 다양한 파장의 것을 포함하고 있어서 논란이 되고 잇는 실정이다. 전자기파는 정말로 인체에 해를 끼치고 잇는 것일까? 세계 각국의 연구 결과를 참조하면서 정리해본다.
