Mobile devices such as mobile phones or PDAs are considered as main interlace tools in ubiquitous computing environment. For searching information in mobile device, it should be possible for user to input some text as well as to control cursor for navigation. So, we should find efficient interlace method for text input in limited dimension of mobile devices. This study intends to suggest a new approach to mobile interaction using camera based virtual keyboard for text input in mobile devices. We developed a camera based virtual keyboard prototype using a PC camera and a small size LCD display. User can move the prototype in the air to control the cursor over keyboard layout in screen and input text by pressing a button. The new interaction method in this study is evaluated as competitive compared to mobile phone keypad in left input efficiency. And the new method can be operated by one hand and make it possible to design smaller device by eliminating keyboard part. The new interaction method can be applied to text input method for mobile devices requiring especially small dimension. And this method can be modified to selection and navigation method for wireless internet contents on small screen devices.

The purpose of this study is to encourage the role of domain to consider the teaching of the concept of functions in modeling real situations. To do this, it is analyzed that how to introduce the concept of functions and linear functions in textbooks treated in the 1st grade and the 2nd grade of middle school. This study also reviewed the role of domain in representational activities for modeling real situations using linear functions. In these reviews, it found that many textbooks do not consider the domain in the equations of functions and these graphs and several text books used linear functions for modeling real situations which are not represented by linear functions contextually. It is concluded that the domain of function is an important concept that will be considered any representational activities for functions.

It is of importance that all countries in worldwide, including EU and China, have adopted the Restrictions on the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) for all electronics. IEC62321 document, which was published by the International Electronics Committee (IEC) can have conflicts with the standards in the market. On the contrary Publicly Accessible Specification (PAS) for sampling published by IEC TC111 can be adopted for complementary application. In this work, we tried to find a route to disassemble and disjoint cellular phone sample, based on PAS and compare the screening methods available in the market. For this work, the cellular phone produced in 2001, before the regulation was born, was chosen for better detection. Although X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) showed excellent performance for screening, fast and easy handling, it can give information on the surface, not the bulk, and have some limitations due to significant matrix interference and lack of variety of standards for quantification. It means that screening with XRF sometimes requires supplementary tool. There are several techniques available in the market of analytical instruments. Laser ablation (LA) ICP-MS, energy dispersive (ED) XRF and scanning electron microscope (SEM)-energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) were demonstrated for screening a cellular phone. For quantitative determination, graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GF-AAS) was employed. Experimental results for Pb in a battery showed large difference in analytical results in between XRF and GF-AAS, i.e., 0.92% and 5.67%, respectively. In addition, the standard deviation of XRF was extremely large in the range of 23-168%, compared with that in the range of 1.9-92.3% for LA-ICP-MS. In conclusion, GF-AAS was required for quantitative analysis although EDX was used for screening. In this work, it was proved that LA-ICP-MS can be used as a screening method for fast analysis to determine hazardous elements in electrical products.

The development of hot social networking services, including the Internet, has transformed rental car services into IT-based car-sharing services. The car-sharing service is a service that allows people to rent cars online without having to face-to-face. It has become the preffered service among young people who are accustomed to drinking and eating alone. Users can use their smartphones to book their types of cars and hours of rent, and then go to a nearby designated parking lot to use their reserved cars. You can open a designated car door with a smart phone and drive. It is a very convenient service to pay for the distance you drive. However, the car-sharing service already in use in business has the following problems: underage who do not have a driver's license may drive a car borrowed by an acquaintance, the status of a license registered at the time of join membership with a car-sharing company may change to a suspension or cancellation of a license while renting and driving, or even a drunk person may rent a car and drive. In this paper, the method to solve these problems has been studied and proposed. The proposed method is to reduce the cost of investment by a car-sharing service provider and to minimize user inconvenience. And, it was compared and analyzed with the existing method. For the method to be used efficiently, the active operation of the car-sharing company and the government's policies will have to be supported.

It is a widely known fact that MAC addresses can be collected using Wi-Fi from mobile phones that people carry. However, since collecting and using MAC addresses without individual consent entails many legal problems, it was difficult to actively utilize them. In order to prevent invasion of privacy information due to unintentional exposure of these MAC addresses in recent years, the method of protecting privacy information by exposing a randomly generated virtual MAC address rather than the MAC address of the actual device is applied to all mobile devices. is becoming By exposing a randomly generated virtual MAC address on a device, it becomes impossible to identify and track an individual using the MAC address. However, the fact that various facts can be estimated through MAC Address collection is still valid. By expanding the application of Random MAC Address, the possibility of invasion of privacy information has been completely removed from the MAC address that has been raised in the past, so that it can be used more actively than in the past. In this paper, we propose a method for automatically collecting and analyzing statistical information of hospital visitors using MAC addresses. The collection of hospital visitors using MAC Address is a low cost and relatively accurate method, and the analysis of hospital visitors through steady collection can provide very objective and scientific evidence for hospital operation.

본 논문은 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 사용자들이 정보교류와 의사소통을 활발히 전개하여 사용자혁신 (User Innovation)을 촉진하는 사례들과 이와 관련된 현안 이슈들, 그리고 기업의 사용자혁신 활용 전략을 다루고 있다. 특히 인터넷의 보급과 확산을 통해 사용자들이 온라인 커뮤니티를 형성하고 상호 교류할 수 있는 장이 마련되어 사용자혁신이 더욱 활성화 될 수 있으므로, 휴대기기 산업에서 이러한 사례를 발굴하여 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 MP3 플레이어 산업에서 기업이 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 고객정보를 어떻게 획득/처리/활용하는지, 그리고 스마트폰인 블랙잭 제품에서 어떤 과정을 통해 사용자혁신이 이루어지는 지를 사례연구 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 1)온라인 커뮤니티에서 사용자의 역할과 (정보공유, 아이디어 창출, 문제해결, 정보취합, 제품테스트, 사용의견 제시, 제품홍보 등) 기업의 대응전략, 2)기업과 고객간 커뮤니케이션 패턴 (질문/불평/사용후기 및 피드백/시제품/공지 등) 특성, 3)온라인 커뮤니티 내에서 사용자간 커뮤니케이션 패턴과 현안, 4)온라인 커뮤니티 활성화를 통한 신제품개발 촉진방안 등으로 구분하여 제시되었다. 마지막으로 이러한 사용자혁신 사례를 바탕으로, 사용자혁신을 촉진하고 신제품개발과정에서 사용자의 참여를 강화할 수 있는 정책적 함의를 정리하였다. 특히 개방형 혁신이 강조되는 상황에서 사용자혁신은 개방형 혁신의 한 형태도서도 의미가 있으며, 향후 더 많은 사례연구와 실증분석이 요구된다.

The idea that the mobile phone could be used in the education field recently comes from it's strengths. They have mobility, on-the-spot-study, portablity, immediacy and they are easy to connect to educational information. The application which I developed in this study is using Google-Map API and is based on GPS. It can share the information about the area where user is located like text data and pictures of geography, culture, and historical remains. This application makes the best use of the mobile phone's strengths. It's more effective and we can expect that users could manage resources of learning and do self-directed study in spite of being outside of the classroom or after regular classtime.

The mobile electronic notification service delivers notifications through mobile phone text or app-based message push to solve various problems of the paper-based mail service. And it is a service that an electronic document relay company proves to prove delivery. In order for public and administrative agencies to provide mobile electronic notification service, the user's identification information of the mobile phone number or the subscribed app is required. To overcome these limitations, ICT-regulated sandbox system was used to allow collective conversion of users' resident registration numbers into connecting information (CI). Therefore, in this paper, we propose a technical method for safe management of user CI in mobile electronic notice service, identity verification of electronic notice readers, and prevention of forgery and forgery of electronic notices. Through the proposed method, it is confirmed that the service can be activated by minimizing the adverse function of the mobile electronic notification service by securing the user's convenience and technical safety for the CI.

As the mobile telecommunications industry in Korea boasts record-high revenue from its businesses, consumers and other industries are looking for new business applications and opportunities using mobile technologies. Many firms are seeking guidelines or business models for an effective use of this new mobile technology in their operations. This paper reviews the characteristics that distinguish mobile marketing, and analyzes marketing approaches which utilize the potential of the new mobile technologies. This paper shows that the new mobile advertising channel is not only complementary to traditional marketing channels, but also delivers benefits for multiple parties involved in mobile marketing. The key success factors in the new OB (Oriental Brewery) marketing campaign include a shortening of the stages in the AIDMA model and a broadening of customer contact points by exposing the brand through well-coordinated marketing efforts. The OB case shows that a mutually beneficial relationship between co-marketing participants can lead to a win-win marketing strategy. It also highlights that collaborative channel management in mobile marketing methodology is critical for successful mobile marketing.
