This paper presents the mobile phone case for self-power generation and recharge for emergency calls or text messages at the discharge of a battery. If the user shakes his smart phone case, the interaction of electromagnetic coil and permanent magnet in an electric generator produces electric energy, which charges the lithium-ion battery. This enables the user to give a few calls or text messages. In addition, the vibration energy from humans walking at a frequency of 2 ~ 3Hz charges the battery. The electric generator was simulated using MAXWELL, a commercial electromagnetic analysis program, to analyze the electric power generation. Finally a prototype of the mobile phone case for self-power generation was built based on the analysis and its performance was verified.

Short message service(SMS) in a mobile communication environment is a very convenient method. However, it caused a serious side effect of generating spam messages for advertisement. Those who send spam messages distort or deform SMS sentences to avoid the messages being filtered by automatic filtering system. In order to increase the performance of spam filtering system, we need to recover the distorted sentences into normal sentences. This paper proposes a method of normalizing the various types of distorted sentence and extracting keywords through automatic word spacing and compound noun decomposition.

Various mobile contents have been developed with the spread of cellular phones. Above all things, nowadays, an idle application services are developed through competition in mobile phone manufacturers and mobile communication companies. In this paper, we propose that the idle application with text message service is easy to receive and edit. It is complement to function of SMS in use and can be effective information managing method, for example, it arrays messages and uses diary feature to set permissions when it send and receive standardized text message. We expect that proposed service will be adopted without additional cost in wireless units.

네트워크와 휴대 무선 장비의 발달로 데스크 탑 PC에서만 사용할 수 있었던 각종 인터넷 서비스들이 무선 단말기를 지원하고, 확장되기 시작했다. 이에 따라 휴대 단말기에서 웹에 접근하기 위한 응용 프로토콜인 WAP의 표준화가 빠르게 확산되고 WML을 지원하는 WAP 브라우저를 탑재한 인터넷폰의 개발이 다양하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 휴대 무선 장비와 PC간에 메시지를 전달하는 기법을 설계하고 인터넷상에서 폭발적인 이용률을 보이는 인스턴트 메신저에 이 기법을 적용하여 휴대 무선 장비에서도 인스턴트 메신저를 사용할 수 있는 시스템을 구현한다.

This study executed questionnaire surveys on 482 undergraduates of D-college to review the extents of spam letter messages received through the mobile phones of college students and the extents of their addiction to mobile phones. It was revealed that each college student received one or two spam letter messages on average a day. Among the received spam messages were the messages containing the contents of commodity advertisements most frequent and the surveys indicated that spam messages are hardly read. As for the addiction to mobile phones, the average score of addiction of the respondents was indicated to be 38.73 based on the full score of 100 and the number of the ones with the scores of 60 or more was 47 which is 9.75% and the ones with the scores of 70 or more was 13 which is 2.70%. Also the younger the students were, the higher were the numbers of the students included in the addictive group and the number of students from other areas included in the addictive group was high and the number of the students in 2years system included in the addictive group was higher than the number of the students in 3years system included in the addictive group.

소비자의 욕구인 '개성' 및 '차별성'에 맞추어 보면, 일방적으로 CP에 의해서 제공되는 보편적인 이미지보다는 본인이 직접 만들고, 본인 취향에 맞춘 모바일 콘텐츠를 추구하는 게 당연한 현실이다. 사용자가 만든 음원을 자신의 폰에서 사용하는 기능도 서비스되고 있으며, 사용자가 간단한 이미지 편집을 통해 바탕화면이나 메시지 발송 용도로 사용할 이미지 혹은 영상을 만드는 서비스도 조만간 열릴 예정이다.

Mobile phones became important household appliance that cannot be without in our daily lives. And the short messaging service (SMS) in these mobile phones is 1.5 to 2 times more than the voice service. However, the spam filtering functions installed in mobile phones take a method to receive specific number patterns or words and recognize spam messages when those numbers or words are present. However, this method cannot properly filters various types of spam messages currently dispatched. This paper proposes a more powerful and more adaptive spam filtering system using SVM and thesaurus. The system went through a process of isolating words from sample data through pro-processing device and integrating meanings of isolated words using a thesaurus. Then it generated characteristics of integrated words through the chi-square statistics and studied the characteristics. The proposed system is realized in a Window environment and the performance is confirmed through experiments.

Mobile phone becomes composite product which the high technological multimedia functions of a Digital camera, MP3, MP4, Blue-tooth, DMB over basic functions of a calling and 3M3. By the view of user, many functions give a heavy burden rather than supporting convenient function itself because it is complex for user to use it. We want to evaluate how users feel using mobile phone according to age, comparing use frequency and necessity. So survey is tried to figure out the difference between use frequency and necessity by dividing three groups into 20s and 30s and 50s. As a result, difference of use frequency and necessity for functions of mobile phone between 20s and 30s and 50s. And the other users have the difference. Consequently, mobile phone development according to age is necessary to satisfy user's desire, evaluating elements research of user preference. We hope this paper can contribute to mobile phone development as a basic guidance.

주민등록번호는 온오프라인에서 가장 많이 사용되는 본인확인 수단이나, 해킹이나 내부자 유출문제로 인해 온라인 환경에서는 아이핀과 같은 대체방안이 제시되었다. 하지만 오프라인 환경에서는 다양한 문제가 우려되나 대체방안이 없는 상황이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 아이핀을 오프라인 환경에서 사용하기 위한 방안을 제시한다. 아이핀 메시지의 특정 필드에 본인확인을 위한 정보와 접근 제어 정보를 암호화 한 뒤, 사용자의 휴대폰으로 아이핀 인증 요청/응답 메시지를 관리하고 기업의 출입시스템에서 본인확인과 접근제어에 활용하였다. 또한 제안한 시스템은 안드로이드가 탑재된 휴대폰에서 구현되었고 실제 서비스를 제공 중인 본인확인기관과 연계하여 본인확인 절차를 수행했다.

Although it's been nearly decade since the electronic notarization system enforced, the utilization is not high because of the troublesomeness of the client or his agent to visit the notarial office directly. Recently, the ministry of justice introduced e-notary based on audio-visual conference through amendament of the notarial law, and hence it will vitalize the usage of e-notary. In addition, due to the spread of smartphones, many people use SMS messages to express simple statements or promises. However, in case of legal disputes, the judgment of the court is different according to the case. The electronic notarization system can be used to prove of evidence of SMS messages, however, there is a hassle to convert SMS messages to electronic documents. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an SMS notarization system using smartphones. The proposed system uses reliable notarization server and it is divided into notarization system for message senders and notarization system for message receivers according to notary requestor.
