This paper define the research problem as the jeopardized situation of most startups in early chasm. Korean government have put more policy focus on helping these startups to jump over the chasm. One of the effective policy measures helps these startups defining the core competencies validated from target customers, in-housing them effectively, and therefore enhancing the level of differentiation against the competitors by "Product Pivoting Training Boots Camp." It ultimately give the key nudge to startups in struggling with unsold products after initial launch to the market. This paper carried out the empirical test to the target sample of startups participating in this camp. In particular, this research analyze the level of satisfaction of startups, as move along with characteristics of the participant and training program, going through this camp whether it enhance their will of application into real business case. The survey were delivered and collected from 203 startups in attending "Product Pivoting Academy, the following program of Startup Jump-up package policy module. The research result shows that all startups participating in this academy were so much satisfied and motivated strongly to take the training process into applying real business case in order to increase sales. The quality of the training program and the characteristics of the participants had mediating variable effects on the will of application with respect to the level of satisfaction. It imply that the program should put more attention on improving coaches' nudge and learning motivation of participants to enhance the level program satisfaction.

The virtual reality training has been suggested as an intervention to improve physical function. But, the effects of virtual reality training focused on improving ADL in patients with acute stroke are unclear. Purpose of this study was to examine the effect of virtual reality training on hand function and activities of daily living (ADL) in patients with acute stroke. Sixteen patients with acute stroke were included in this study. The experimental group (VRA group) received 30 minutes of virtual reality training focused on ADL for each session, while the control group received 30 minutes of conventional virtual reality training. To examine the hand function and ADL of the subjects, the study used Jebsen-Tylor Hand Function Test (JTHFT) and Korean Modified Barthel Index (K-MBI), respectively. Both groups showed significant improvements in hand function of affected and unaffected sides, and in K-MBI total score before and after the intervention. The experimental group showed significantly greater improvements in the self-care domain of K-MBI after intervention than the control group. These findings suggest that the virtual reality training focused on ADL may have a better effect on self-care than conventional virtual reality training in patients with acute stroke.

The present situations of the education and training systems for the response to marine HNS spill incidents in domestic and foreign countries were reviewed and the plans to improve domestic system were suggested on the basis of the comparison between domestic and foreign education systems. There were almost no private education and training institutions in Korea, and they have not been activated, compared with those of foreign countries such as USA, Canada, Australia and UK. The domestic marine HNS-related education has been implemented uniformly under Korean government initiative. In addition, there were differences in the targets and duration of the education offered by Korea Coast Guard Academy (KCGA) and Marine Environment Research & Training Institute (MERTI) in Korea. Domestic HNS-related curriculum was relatively simple, compared with the curricula of foreign countries, and has not accepted two levels (operational level and manager level) required in HNS model courses of International Maritime Organization (IMO). The domestic education and training period was short relatively to those of foreign countries. The following suggestions were made to improve the education and training system for the response to domestic marine chemical incidents. In the short term, an HNS education and training management consultation body (tentative name) should be established, with both KCGA and MERTI participating jointly while maintaining the current system of the two institutions (KCGA and MERTI) simultaneously. In the more distant and long term, the HNS-related departments of KCGA and MERTI should be incorporated into a National Marine HNS Response Academy (tentative name) as unified system to enable international competitiveness.

The goal of education and training in military is to foster strong combatants who can fight and defeat enemies. The Korean military is deeply aware of the importance of education & training, and has been introducing various advanced training systems so far. Despite these efforts, however, the military environment to maintain and strengthen the level of training is becoming increasingly difficult. In this study, it was conducted on the effectiveness analysis and utilization of the game system for military education & training through literature review. As a result of literature analysis, the introduction of the game system could be expected to have various effects throughout the cognitive and behavioral areas. Based on this effect analysis, the concept and shape of game system operation for each purpose were derived, and an improved plan using the game system was proposed.

최근 우리나라의 국제화와 국제결혼 등을 통해 외국인의 활동이 많다. 따라서 대민접촉이 많은 경찰공무원에게는 어학능력은 필수라 할 수 있다. 그러므로 이 연구의 목적은 초임 경찰관들의 직무관련 어학능력을 개선하는데 있다. 연구범위는 초임 경찰관들의 어학능력 향상을 위한 교육훈련에 대한 연구이므로 초임 경찰관 교육기관의 교육훈련에 대한 연구로 한정하였다. 연구방법은 국내 외 공식현황 및 자료에 대한 분석과 경찰 내부자료를 분석하는 문헌연구를 수행하였으며 경찰공무원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.

연안선은 중 대형선에 비하여 사고의 위험이 높고 작업 환경이나 안전에 대한 시스템적인 완성도가 매우 취약하다. 또한 바쁜 운항 스케줄과 승무원의 자질등의 여건으로 인하여 비상대응훈련이 잘 시행이 되지 않는 것이 현실이다. 여기에 현재 시행중인 훈련에 대한 시나리오도 중 대형선의 시나리오를 가지고 수정해서 사용하는 경우가 많고 본선에 적합하지 않는 훈련 시나리오를 가지고 훈련을 하는 경우도 많다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 개선하고 연안선의 현실에 맞는 시나리오를 개발 및 자발적 참여유도를 통하여 연안선에서 시행되는 훈련의 효과를 증대시키고 나아가 안전한 해양문화에 이바지하는데 그 의의가 있다.

Objective : This study aimed to investigate the effect of simultaneous application of peripheral nerve sensory stimulation and task-oriented training on the improvement of upper extremity motor function after stroke. Methods : This study included 29 patients with hemiplegia. The 14 subjects were in the peripheral nerve sensory stimulation and task-oriented training group for 4 weeks (30 min/d, 5 d/wk), while the 15 control group subjects underwent only task-oriented training for the same duration. The outcome measures were the percentage of voluntary baseline muscle contractions of the wrist and shoulder and Box and Block Test, grip and pinch strength, and Action Research Arm Test. Results : After 4 weeks, muscle activity of extensor carpi radialis, flexor carpi radialis and grip strength and Action Research Arm Test were significantly higher in the experimental group. Conclusion : Simultaneous application of the peripheral nerve sensory stimulation and task-oriented training was found to be superior to task-oriented training for improving upper extremity motor function of adults with stroke.

We present an improved AdaBoost algorithm to avoid overfitting phenomenon. AdaBoost is widely known as one of the best solutions for object detection. However, AdaBoost tends to be overfitting when a training dataset has noisy samples. To avoid the overfitting phenomenon of AdaBoost, the proposed method divides positive samples into K clusters using k-means algorithm, and then uses only one cluster to minimize the training error at each iteration of weak learning. Through this, excessive partitions of samples are prevented. Also, noisy samples are excluded for the training of weak learners so that the overfitting phenomenon is effectively reduced. In our experiment, the proposed method shows better classification and generalization ability than conventional boosting algorithms with various real world datasets.
