Navigation of Autonomous Mobile Robot with Intelligent Controller (지능제어기를 이용한 자율 이동로봇의 운항)

  • This paper proposes an intelligent navigation algorithm for multiple mobile robots under unknown dynamic environment. The proposed algorithm consists of three basic parts as follows. The first part based on the fuzzy rule generates the turning angle and moving distance of the robot for goal approach without obstacles. In the second part, using both fuzzy and neural network, the angle and distance of the robot to avoid collision with dynamic and static obstacles are obtained. The final adjustment of the weighting factor based on fuzzy rule for moving and avoiding distance of the robots is provided in the third stage. The experiments which demonstrate the performance of the proposed intelligent controller is described.

  • In recent years, the need of the education for the Internet ethics is emphasized as the number of offenses committed by juveniles is increasing. So many researches on the methodologies about educating the Internet ethics have been being performed But, those are not competent to make young people inspire the sense of ethics in the cyber-space because they get trained by the cramming system of education with a textbook in their schools. In this paper, we developed a web-based learning model and an learning system including various multimedia materials that induce the learners for ethics to study actively. And then we applied our system to school education for the Internet ethics, and verified the effectiveness of our learning model and system.

Efficient way to input text through eye gazing method. (시선입력 인터페이스 시스템의 효율적 문자입력 방법)

  • The EGI system is a new communication method in limelight for helping disabled users to input and handle information on the computer more easily. However, due to the EGI system's "JEM(Jittery Eye Movements)" generation, it actually increases heavy psychological and physiological stresses for the user to input or perceive the target information on a machine. This study illustrates how to resolve this "JEM" issue and suggests a method that is easy and simple to be controled by anyone. A demo tool was built and tested to find and prove the reasons for "JEM" This test shows that that the case with snap up is less stressful than without to input text as a final result of the test evaluation in both psychological snap up and physiological brain wave test. Postnatal or naturally acquired, it is found that the disabled can have opportunities for smoother communication, and a possible efficient system development for better communication.

  • The international trade industry is on the brink of a radical Internet-driven transformation. TradeCard is a payment and settlement system that is an alternative to letters of crdeit. That is, TradeCard is a business-to-business e-commerce infrastructure that enables buyers and sellers to conduct and settle international trade transactions securely over the Internet. Paperless, payment-guaranteed international trade transactions - which eliminate the traditional letters of credit with electronic certifications - are widely considered the most difficult B2B transactions to conduct. The TradeCard system was initially built to accommodate and process this complex, cross-border payment type at a US$100 service fee for each transaction of up to US$100,000 since November 1999.

  • 이기종 시스템들간의 멀티미디어 문서 교환을 목적으로 제정된 국제 표준인 SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language)이다[2]. 이 SGML 문서를 만들기 위해서는 DTD(Document Type Definition)의 생성이 이루어져야 하며, 이 DTD는 문서의 논리구조에 따라 각각 다르게 생성되기 때문에 여러 개의 데이터베이스(Database)를 구축하게 된다. 그러므로 구축하는데 비용이 증가되며 검색하는데 비효율적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유사한 논리구조를 가지는 문서에 대하여 그들 각각의 DTD를 하나로 통합할 수 있는 통합 DTD 작성 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이러한 알고리즘에 따라 적용하게 되면 하나의 논리 구조를 가지는 SGML 문서의 데이터베이스만을 구축하므로 효과적인 검색 환경을 제공할 수 잇다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 국내 학회의 논문지에 게재된 논문을 대상으로 적용하여 통합 DTD를 생성하였고 이의 따른 효용성을 입증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 자동으로 볼트를 검사할 수 있는 장치에 대한 시스템 설계 및 제품 개발에 관해 다룬다. 볼트를 연속적으로 검사하기 위해 컨베이어를 이용하고 이를 동작시키기 위한 서보모터와 엔코더를 부착하여 정확한 이송량를 유지하게 된다. 엔코더 신호를 수신한 라인스캔 카메라의 동작에 따라 프레임 그래버로 볼트 영상을 전송하며 한 프레임을 구성한 후 영상 검사 알고리즘에 의해 파라메터를 측정하고 검사하게 된다. 제작된 결과물을 이용하여 실험을 통해 본 장치의 효용성을 입증하고자 한다.

  • This study starts from interests on an endeavor of each economy unit, especially the enterprises, for the survival and sustainability of themselves. Competition, how to get it, maintain it and advance it! Agreeing the perceivedness of industries, scholars and public; what the core competition of manufacturer is an competitiveness of product, this study focuses on the PLM system as the key solution for obtaining the competitiveness of product with reviewing the contents and studies of PLM formulated. PLM is highlighted as the one of top tier ICT solution for the product development domain of manufacturing industry today. First of all, this study deals with the opinion of actual work-site and management of our small&medium business for the benefits of PLM based on product development; the impact on the performances of management, which is the key objective of the existence of enterprises. In conclusion, the answers for these questionnaires shows positive perception of actual work-sites and managers for the PLM system. They agree some useful effects on shortening the term and downsizing the cost of product development due to Data integration and Process management, even if they have not full confidence on the effectiveness of the individual functionality of the PLM system.

  • The electronic float flow pattern system can predict a rate of flow of river by monitoring a location of float in remote with location measurement technology and a variety of communication technology. Now, to analyze the flow pattern of the natural streams, we use the manual floats in many forms. The measurement of a rate of flow using a manual float measures the distance and time of the manual float directly and uses it. It is inefficient for measurement method and exact a rate of flow of river. To overcome this problems, we designed and implemented the electronic float using CDMA, GPS, and RF module. Then, to get the location information and a rate of flow information, we designed and implemented the monitoring system for the electronic float flow pattern. The short life cycle of electronic float using the battery decreases the utility of the electronic float flow pattern system. Then, we design the power saving method to reduce the power of the electronic float in electronic float flow pattern system.

  • Having been speed development of information delivery using the mobile phone, it is generalization. The Mobile has one of the importance for their information searcher as tool. It is widely recognized that tourism information can be defined as useful and reliable reference which significantly influence the traveler' decision-making. This paper presents pioneer and ongoing study of the method for the pinpionting mobile tourism information system with RTLS, 2D Barcode and mobile phone itself. And, this paper relief that benefit and influence of TCO a view on the business administration points.
