Polarization recording and reconstruction in the chalcogenide As-Ge-Se-S thin films (비정질 칼코게나이드 As-Ge-Se-S 박막에서 편광기록 및 재생)

  • In this study, we have investigated the holography recording and reconstruction of the polarization state in chalcogenide $A_{s40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}4 thin films using a He-Ne laser light(633nm). The thickness of thin films is a 8677${\AA}$ and 9093${\AA}$. A He-Ne laser used to probe and record of the grating. Also the polarization state of object beam modulated with a $\lambda/4$ wave plate. The polarization state of the +lst order diffracted beam generated by readout of the grating with a linearly polarized reference beam. It was the same-handed polarization state as the polarization state of the recording beam. The diffraction efficiency of circularly polarized recording represented higher than other polarization state.

  • A parabolic model is presented for the effective calculation of refraction-diffraction of regular water while they are propagating on the water of slowly varying sea bed with currents. Parabolic wave equation has been used in the model, which is derived from a mild-slope equation using Pade' approximation. With the corrections of Kirby's (1986) model some numerical experiments were carried out to analyze the model accuracy.

  • A new set of elliptic wave equations describing the deformations of irregular waves on a large-scale current field in water of irregular depth is given, and using finite difference scheme an efficient numerical method is also presented. The elliptic equations are solved in a similar way to Initial value problem. This method is extensively used for the calculation of wave spectral transformation. and computation results agree very well with experimental data (Hiraishi, 1991). Finally numerical examples are presented concerning the interactions between waves and currents over a mildly sloping beach and also over a mound.

  • 본 논문에서는 칼코게나이드 박막의 Ag 포토 도핑시 기판의 변화에 따른 Ag 이온의 도핑 특성을 예측하고자 하였다. 도핑 특성은 Ag 이온의 도핑으로 인한 굴절률 변화를 이용하여 진폭혈 회절격자 효율을 측정하여 확인하였다. 시료는 5N의 순도를 갖는 Ge, Se, Ag 물질을 준비하였고, 이중 GeSe를 조성의 비에 맞추어서 석영관에 진공 봉입후 용융 혼합하고 급냉하여 비정질 빌크를 제작한다. 만들어진 비정질 벌크와 Ag를 열 증착법을 이용하여 기판에 올리는 방법으로 샘플을 제작한다. 제작된 샘플에 레이저와 몇몇 광학 소자로 구성된 흩로-리소그라피 장치를 이용하여 격자구조로 442nm 의 빛을 조사 시킨다. 결론으로는 기판은 칼코게나이드 박막에의 Ag 도핑에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • In this thesis, We observed the characteristic of the diffraction efficiency according to the wave length of the chalcogenide thin films. The used an $Ag(200{\AA})/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ thin film. We made grating formation by each wave length 325nm, 442nm, 632.8nm. After measure diffraction efficiency of the time. We expressed the maxium saturation value at fast time as were the short wavelength and stable characteristic. On the other hand we appeard to the by a maxium diffraction efficiency the 1.7% in 325nm, 0.8% in 442nm, 0.27% in 632.8nm. The maximum diffraction efficiency expressed high value as were the long wavelength.

Development of Holographic Reflection Filters (홀로그래픽 반사형 간섭필터의 제작)

  • Reflection holographic filters are developed. Dichromated gelatin films are used for the recording material, and a modified processing method of obtaining high-quality filters is developed. The diffraction efficiency and bandwidth of the fabricated holographic filter is 93% and 17 nm, respectively. The effect of exposure on the spectral bandwidth and center wavelength of the developed filters are measured, and the characteristics of the dichromated gelatin film are investigated from these results.

Reduced Raytracing Approach for Handling Sound Map with Multiple Sound Sources, Wind Advection and Temperature

  • In this paper, we present a method that utilizes geometry-based sound generation techniques to efficiently handle multiple sound sources, wind turbulence, and temperature-dependent interactions. Recently, a method based on reduced raytracing has been proposed to update the sound position and efficiently calculate sound propagation and diffraction without recursive reflection/refraction of many rays, but this approach only considers the propagation characteristics of sound and does not consider the interaction of multiple sound sources, wind currents, and temperature. These limitations make it difficult to create sound scenes in a variety of virtual environments because they only generate static sounds. In this paper, we propose a method for efficiently constructing a sound map in a situation where multiple sounds are placed, and a method for efficiently controlling the movement of an agent through it. In addition, we propose a method for controlling sound propagation by considering wind currents and temperature. The method proposed in this paper can be utilized in various fields such as metaverse environment design and crowd simulation, as well as games that can improve content immersion based on sound.

Realization of the multi-phase level CGH according to the multi-channel encoding method using a PAL-SLM (PAL-SLM을 이용한 다채널 부호화 방법에 따른 다위상형 CGH의 광학적 구현)

  • We proposed more efficient encoding methods that can design a multi-channel multi-level phase only computer-generated hologram(CGH) that can reconstruct many objects simultaneously without a conjugate image. We used a fabrication technique for the pixel oriented CGH for designing the pattern of the proposed multi-channel CGH. We investigated the difference of the optical efficiency(η), mean square error(MSE) and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of multi-channel CGHs that were designed by three kinds of encoding methods according to the number of quantization phase levels, and we estimated the performance of the pattern of the proposed multi-channel CGH. Generally, as the number of input objects' reference patterns stored in the CGH is increased, the reconstruction quality of the CGH is degraded. But we observed through computer simulation that the diffraction efficiency of the 1-ch CGH is 70%, and those of the 2-ch, 4-ch, 8-ch CGHs are 62%, 62% and 63%. Therefore we found that the diffraction efficiencies of the multi-channel CGHs using the newly proposed encoding method are similar to that of 1-ch CGH. We implemented the CGH optically using a liquid crystal spatial light phase modulator that consisted of a PAL-SLM efficiently coupled with a XGA type LCD by an optical lens and an LD for illuminating the LCD. We discussed the output images that are reconstructed from the PAL-SLM.

Performance Improvement of Scrubber by Introducing $TiO_2$ Photocatalytic Nanoparticles ($TiO_2$ 광촉매를 이용한 스크러버 집진장치의 성능 향상에 대한 연구)

  • 최근 각종 산업 기술의 발달과 함께 다량의 악취, 오염 물질이 심각한 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 특히 산업 현장의 경우, 악취로 인해 작업 환경이 매우 열악하여 환경 설비의 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 스크러버 집진 장치의 친수성 가스를 제거할 수 있는 장점을 유지하면서, 소수성 기체의 제거율이 낮은 단점을 보완할 수 있는 TiO$_2$나노 입자의 광분해 특성을 이용한 스크러버 집진 장치를 제작하였다. TiO$_2$ 광촉매 나노 입자는 실험실에서 합성한 QT를 비롯하여, 국내외에서 생산된 P-25, NT-20, ST-01로 특성 분석을 실시하였다. 광촉매 나노 입자의 특성 분석에는 X선 회절 분석법, 적외선 분광기, 제타 전위 분석기, 동적 광산란 분광기를 사용하였으며, 그 결과 ST-01이 본 실험에 가장 적합한 광촉매로 선정되었다. 악취 및 대기 오염 물질 선정은 염색 가공 공장에서 정련제, 산화 환원제등으로 많이 사용하고 있는 암모니아, 아세트산, 옥탄올, 휘발성 유기물질인 톨루엔, 벤젠으로 하여, 실험실 자체 제작한 batch type과 산업 현장에서 사용할 수 있는 continuous type의 스크러버 이용하여 실험하였다. 이들 물질의 제거율은 가스 크로마토그래피, 자외선/가시광선 분광기를 이용하여 조사하였으며, 친수성 기체인 암모니아와 아세트산의 경우는 기존의 스크러버 효율의 약 70%인 반면에, 광촉매를 이용한 스크러버의 경우 90%이상의 우수한 제거 효과를 보였다. 또한, 기존의 스크러버가 거의 분해를 할 수 없었던 소수성 기체 옥탄올, 톨루엔, 벤젠의 경우는 기존의 스크러버가 약 10%내외를 제거하는 것에 비해, 광촉매를 이용한 스크러버의 경우 약 80% 이상의 제거 효율을 나타내었다. 결과적으로 광촉매를 이용한 스크러버의 제거효율이 기존의 스크러버에 비해, 친수성 가스의 경우 20% 이상, 소수성 가스의 경우70% 이상 향상되었음을 알 수 있었으며, 본 연구를 통해 광분해를 이용한 스크러버가 기존설비의 장.단점을 충분히 보완 가능한 환경 설비임을 확인할 수 있었다.
