  • 본 연구에서는 한국수자원공사 고압회전기 고정자권선 절연체의 진단데이터에 대한 통계적 분석연구에 관하여 설명하고 있다. 10년 이상 수집된 진단데이터를 사용하여 와이블 함수를 이용한 누적확률을 구하였으며, 그 결과로부터 각 진단항목에 대하여 형상모수와 절연상태를 판정하는 진단기준치를 제시하였다. 그 결과로 수력발전기의 대지간 전압에 대한 부분방전량의 기준값으로 10,000pC이하를 제시하였다.

  • In this paper. design of spoke type BLDC motor which have a characteristics of concentrating fluxes and relatively high reluctance torque among IPM BLDC motors has been researched. To reduce cogging torque and torque ripple. rotor pole shape of optimal design is proposed. To clearly see the effects due to the changed rotor pole shape. magnetic circuit model. 2D FEM and design of experiments (DOE) are used. Then considering these results proper rotor pole shape which have an good effect on air gap flux density and cogging torque. back-emf is designed. Moreover. the validity of proposed model in this paper is also verified by comparison between gained experiment and analysis data.

  • This paper deals with analysis for demagnetization characteristic of a ferrite magnet line start motor using FEM. Maximum start and clock currents are calculated by transient state voltage and dynamic equation, and then, these currents are applied to FE analysis. The characteristics of motor according to partial demagnetization are analyzed from FE analytic results, and rotor shape is designed for improvement of demagnetization characteristic.

  • This paper presents an analysis of the characteristics in switched reluctance motor (SRM). 2D finite element method (FEM) considering the iron saturation and the actual switching circuit of the SRM drive is applied for the dynamic analysis. The influence of the rotor shape on the radial force and torque ripple is investigated and the optimal shape of rotor pole is proposed to enhance the torque. The radial force characteristics acting on the surface of teeth is investigated by using the Maxwell's magnetic stress tensor method.

  • The new type of dispersion-free optical isolator is presented and it's performance is verified by theoritical and empirical method. The dispersion-free optical isolator consists of 2 wedged birefringent materials, faraday rotator, collimating unit and focusing unit. In the test it shows that isolation is 40dB, insertion loss is 0.55dB, dispersion is 0.02ps at 1550nm

  • In this paper, the design of rotor shape was performed for improvement of start-up characteristics and efficiency in single-phase LSPM. In order to improve the start-up characteristics, shape of rotor aluminium cage bar was changed. Through arrangement of permanent magnets and installation of flux barriers, it was performed torque ripple reduction and efficiency improvement. Cogging torque and back-EMF is calculated by the no-load analysis, start-up time is calculated by the start-up state analysis, efficiency and torque ripple is calculated by steady state analysis. The characteristics of the motor were calculated through FEM.

  • This paper examines an design of double-barrier rotor structure for improving the efficiency performance in a single-phase line-start permanent magnet(LSPM) motor. By utilizing the advantages of double-barrier rotor design that by increasing reluctance torque generation to compensate magnet torque production, the copper loss reduction is achieved. The optimal approach of response surface methodogy(RSM) is performed for determining a optimum double-barrier rotor structure. The improving of efficiency performance is confirmed by finite element method(FEM) and test.

  • This paper presents the improvement of dynamic characteristics in Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) type BLDC motor with notch. The notch is applied on the surface of the rotor to reduce the cogging torque and to improve dynamic characteristics. The current, inductance and torque of initial model and optimal model are analyzed by FEA. The validity of improved dynamic characteristics is confirmed.

  • A simple analysis method for inverter-fed induction motor using F.E.M and harmonic equivalent circuit is proposed. And an optimum shape of rotor slot for 2Hp inverter-fed induction motor is determined by combining the proposed analysis method and an optimization algorithm. Conjugate gradient method is used for the optimization algorithm. The optimization is performed for higher efficiency and reduction of harmonic loss in the inverter-fed induction motor. The optimization results are verified by comparing with those of the time-step F.E.A.

  • Recently, high vacuum pumps are widely used in the semi-conduction and liquid-crystal display ( LCD ) process. The composite-type high vacuum pumps are widely used in the various processes. In this study, the pumping performance of composite-type molecular pumps has been investigated experimentally. The experimented pumps are a compound molecular pump ( CMP ) and hybrid molecular pump ( HMP ). The CMP consists with helical-type drag pump, at lower part, and with turbomolecular pump ( TMP ), at upper part. The HMP consists with disk-type drag pump, at lower part, and with TMP, at upper part. The experiments are performed in the outlet pressure of $0.2\;{\sim}\;533\;Pa$. We have measured the ultimate pressure, compression ratio, and pumping speed
