Technology is one of important factors to start-up. Researchers or engineers have led to make start-up, and research based company is one type of technology-based start-up. Technology holding company has made to encourage start-up and support research based company. Research based company was introduced in 2005 according to the Korean related law. In 2014, the number of technology holding companies of university is up to 39, but technology holding company of research institute is only one called ETRI Holdings. ETRI Holdings is a technology holding company to promote technology commercialization that established by ETRI in 2010. This study analysed the financial statements of ETRI Holdings for 5 years, and grasped the status of ETRI Holdings and 15 invested companies, research based companies. According to analysis ETRI Holdings played a role as technology holding company that invested in research based company, but had no virtual circle model until now. Also improvement directions for the management of technology holding company is suggested in this paper based on the analysis of financial statement.

This study is aimed to investigate the factors predicting the responses after volunteering activities among corporate volunteers. While positive responses to volunteering are conceptualized as both the degree of satisfaction from volunteering and the perceived contribution of volunteering, negative responses are conceptualized as the degree of burnout. Family supports, the volunteering support system of corporation, various human relations in volunteering sites are selected and empirically tested as variables predicting the differential responses after volunteer activities. Questionnaire data were collected from 250 corporate volunteers and analyzed through hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that while family supports have no significant effects on volunteering responses, corporate support system of volunteering have significant effects. Additionally, human relations with clients and volunteers managers have strong and positive significant effects on positive responses including the degree of satisfaction and the perceived contribution. However, no significant effect has been found on negative responses represented by burnout. Findings from this study emphasized the importance of human relations management in volunteering sites for corporate and nonprofit volunteer managers to increase the positive response from corporate volunteers.

Most commercially available collaboration support systems are not proper for small enterprises in a specific area such as small e-design companies, because they are focused on general functionalities, required by most large enterprises. In this paper, we analyze the requirements for improving communication environments of small e-design companies, and propose an advanced communication management tool which reflects those requirements. The communication platform focuses the acknowledgement process by customer and the schedule sharing and management between project members. The proposed system suggest a new research direction which supports the systematic collaboration with external entities such as customers rather than the unsystematic collaboration between internal members, and improves the communication environment of those small e-design companies that are desperately in need of a cost-effective way to carry out projects, and will help in the process of successful projects.

우리나라는 매년 홍수피해가 되풀이되고 있다. 홍수피해는 댐, 제방시설 등의 사전적 예방조치 이외에 보험을 통한 사후적 보상제도가 절대적으로 필요하다. 그러나 국내에는 아직 홍수보험제도가 도입되지 않고 있어 문제가 되고 있다. 피해자의 경우 정부로부터의 최소한의 복구지원금을 받고 있을 뿐이다. 이에 본 고에서는 국내 홍수피해 현황을 살펴보고 홍수보험의 도입방안을 제시한다. 홍수보험의 도입을 위하여 정부, 보험회사 및 주민의 인식전환이 필요하다. 참여주체별 역할에 대해서 살펴보면, 정부는 보험료 일부를 지원하여야 하며, 특히 거대보험사고에 대한 최종 지급보증(재보험회사 역할)을 하여야 한다. 그렇지 않으면 이익추구를 목표로 하는 보험회사가 거대위험에 대한 부담감으로 홍수위험의 인수를 기피하기 때문이다. 물론 보험회사도 홍수보험에 관한 한 어느 정도 사회공익적 차원에서 보험을 운영한다는 자세가 필요하다. 개인도 당연히 자신의 사유시설물에 대한 위험관리의 주체가 되어야 하며, 이를 위하여 보험료를 부담하겠다는 인식 전환이 필요하다.

본 논문에서는 SiC를 이용한 신재생 에너지용 다중입력 PCS를 개발하였다. 제안하는 PCS는 풍력, 태양광, 배터리를 포함하는 다중입력 구조를 갖고 2단 방식으로 비절연 DC-DC 컨버터가 전압, 전류 및 양방향 제어를 하고 DC-AC 인버터가 단상 계통연계, 독립운전을 지원한다. 또한 SiC Mosfet을 사용하여 수동소자 크기를 최소화 하고 고효율 동작을 달성하였다. 제안하는 PCS의 동작모드를 제시하고 시작품을 통해 본 논문의 타당성을 검증하였다.

도로 주행 시 운전을 보조하고 안전 운전을 지원하기 위한 기술인 도로상황인지 시스템에 있어 효율적인 차선 차간 검출 기법은 위의 핵심적인 기술이다. 실시간으로 수집되는 도로 상황 영상 데이터 분석에 대한 처리 시간을 단축하기 위하여 각각의 영상 프레임에 대해 관심 영역을 설정한 후 허프 변환을 적용하였다. 본 논문은 카메라로 수집되는 도로 상황 영상에 관심 영역 설정을 통한 실시간 차선 차간 인식에 관한 연구로서, 차선과 차간 인식을 위한 효율적인 알고리즘을 제안한다.

The paper employs a resource-based approach to analyze the relationship between institutional resources and faculty-led startup formation and performance in South Korean four-year universities from 2017 to 2021. The author proposes nine hypotheses to explain how institutional resources or systems affect the number of faculty startups, their employee numbers and the revenue of faculty-led startups, and compare four different groups of university resources for cross-college variation. The findings suggest that institutional factors impacting faculty-led startup performance differ from those impacting other categories of startups. Universities should provide a more favorable environment, including flexible personnel policies and accompanying startup support infrastructure, to encourage faculty-led startups. In contrast, it is more effective for better performance of faculty startups, in terms of their job creation and revenue, to have more financial resources and good paper publications. The results also suggest that university technology-holding companies are crucial for increasing the number of professor startups and their performance. These findings have implications for both university and government policymakers, who aim to facilitate greater participation of professors in startup formation and commercialization of technology.

종전에는 전력회사가 전력수요에 따라 공급설비를 확충하는데 중점을 두어 왔으나, 최근에는 미국 등 선진국을 중심으로 공급력을 확보하는 것과 같은 효과를 거두면서, 국가의 총 비용을 줄이는 수요관리 위주로 경영방향이 변화하고 있다. 한국전력공사는 전기이용효율 향상을 통한 수요관리방안으로 고효율기기 보급지원제도를 검토하고, 조명기기를 대상으로 장려금 지급방안을 마련하여 시행하고 있으며, 지원기기에 대한 품질의 신뢰성 확보를 위하여 기술규격과 품질인정제도를 제정하고 인정표시로 "고 마크"를 운용하고 있다.

사회적기업이 많아져야 한다는 사실은 공감하지만 사회적기업의 증가는 기업인의 경영마인드에 달린 것이 현실이다. 얼마 전부터 정부의 지원도 사회적기업을 늘리는 데 한몫을 하고 있으나 근본적으로 사회적 약자의 고용을 촉진하고 사회복지를 위한 기금을 마련하는 데 중요한 사회적기업 자체가 더 늘어나야 한다. 미국의 한 벤처기업가 제프 스콜(Jeff Skoll)은 사회적 기업가를 발굴해 지원하고, 사회적 기업가의 활약을 전 세계에 알리기 위해 '스콜 재단'을 설립해서 주목을 받고 있다. 세계적인 전자상거래 회사 '이베이(ebay)'의 대표였던 스콜은 자신이 거둔 부를 좋은 일에 쓰겠다는 목표로 스콜 재단을 운영하고 있다, 스콜 재단이 펼치는 살기 좋은 세상을 만들기 위한 노력을 알아보자.

1990년 이후 영국, 미국, 캐나다, 뉴질랜드 등의 국가들에 대형 전력회사들은 발전, 송ㆍ배전 및 판매 분야를 분할하여 전력산업을 재편성하여 왔다〔1, 2〕. 물론, 국내에서도 2001년 4월 한국전력공사로부터 발전부분이 분할됨으로써 구조조정이 시작되었다. 전력산업의 이러한 변화와 더불어 전력품질 향상에 대한 수용자의 요구가 증가함으로써, 전력회사들은 송전선로를 증설을 하지 않고 기존 설비를 경제적으로 관리하는 효율적인 방법을 모색하기 시작했다. (중략)
