  • Risk identification based on the government quality assurance activity for military goods is being conducted to determine the risks to be reflected in a government quality assurance plan. On the other hand, current risk evaluation method focuses mainly on the functional requirements of the product specifications, which is a lack of reflection and identification of risks considering the process and the method is determined from a personal opinion, for example experience and know-how, which results in a lack of objectivity. Therefore, a standard of judgment according to quantitative data, which includes the present process control data using the FMEA method is required to improve the objectivity and dependability. This paper proposes useful suggestions for a government quality planning method to apply the results of FMEA to hand grenades.

Analysis on the Argumentation in Exploring the Pick's Formula Using the Geoboard of Graphing Calculator in Math-Gifted 5 Grade Class (초등영재학급을 대상으로 그래핑 계산기의 지오보드를 활용한 Pick 공식의 탐구 과정에서 나타난 논증활동의 분석)

  • This study was to find characteristics of argumentation derived from a discourse in a math-gifted 5 grade class, which was held for finding a Pick's formula using Geoboard function of TI-73 calculator. For the analysis, a video record of the class, transcript of its voice record, and activity paper were used as data and Toulmin's argument schemes were applied as analysis standard. As a result of the study, we found that the graphing calculator helped the students to create an experimental environment that graphing a grid-polygon and figuring out its area. Furthermore, it also provided a basic demonstration through 'data->claim' composition and reasoning activities which consisted of guarantee, warrant, backing, qualifier and refutal for justifying. The basic argumentation during the process of deriving the Pick's theorem by the numbers of boundary points and inner points was developed into a 'collective argumentation' while a teacher took a role of a conductor of the argumentation and an authorizer on the knowledge at the same time.

The Effects of Volunteering on Life Satisfaction and Depression among the Korean Elderly: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (한국 노인의 자원봉사활동이 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 효과: 체계적 리뷰 및 메타분석)

  • The purpose of this research is to provide synthesized findings on the effect of volunteering among the elderly on their life satisfaction and depression. In order to do that, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis from selected studies which were published in Korea. From five databases and three government web sites, 47 research papers were selected based on the eligible criteria and the 53 effect size data were extracted. The results are: The effect size of elderly volunteering on life satisfaction was 0.348 with 95% confidence interval of 0.286 to 0.408. The summary effect of elderly volunteering on depression was -0.310 with 95% confidence interval of -0.439 to -0.169. These findings suggest that elderly volunteering is an effective intervention for their psychosocial health, providing some evidence in the area of volunteering policies and practices.

Development of Spanish Teaching Model Applying Action Learning through Strengthening Communication (스페인어 교양수업에서 액션러닝을 통한 소통 강화 교수학습 모형 개발)

  • This study is to propose a communication strengthening teaching model using action learning for Spanish learners, and to verify its effectiveness through a case study of Spanish lessons. This study was conducted under the same conditions by dividing 91 students from September 1 to December 20, 2019 into experiment and control classes. As a result of the experiment, both classes improved their writing ability to some extent, but the learners in the experimental class applying action learning showed more meaningful results in terms of the content, expressions, fluency of the text, and the affective domain test also showed a significant difference. The development of this teaching model, which is necessary for learner-centered convergence activities, is expected to be of academic significance as it can be used for other foreign language class activities as well as improving Spanish communication.

An Analysis on the Students' Mathematical Creativity in Problem Posing Activities (문제 만들기 활동에서 학생들의 수학적 창의성 분석)

  • There is no single definition of mathematical creativity. But creativity is a key competency to adapt and live in the future. So, there are so many attentions to develop students' mathematical creativity in school mathematics. In special, mathematical problem posing activity is a good method in enhancing mathematical creativity. The purpose of this paper is to analyse on the students' mathematical creativity using problems which are made by students in problem posing activities. 16 children who consist of three groups(high, middle, low) are participated in this study. They are trained to make the problem by Brown & Walter's 'What if not' strategy. The results are as follows: Total creativity is proportional to general achievement levels. There is a difference total creativity between items contents. The number of problems differs little according to the general achievement levels. According to the qualitative analysis, students make the problems using the change of terms. And there is no problem to generalize. Based on this paper, I suggest comparing the creativity between problem posing activity and other creative fields. And we need the deeper qualitative analysis on the students' creative output.

Analysis of Finnish mathematics textbooks on movement of a point: Focused on spatial orientation elements (점의 이동에 대한 핀란드 수학 교과서 분석: 공간 방향의 요소를 중심으로)

  • In the 2022 revised mathematics curriculum, a new content on 'Movement of a point' was added. Therefore, this study analyzed the contents of the movement of a point presented in Finnish mathematics textbooks as elements of spatial orientation. Analysis was conducted by dividing it into direction, distance, and route. As a result of the study, in Finnish textbooks, directions were expressed in various ways, such as linguistic, visual, and coded expressions. In the case of distance, activities to move as much as the distance or compare the distance were presented using the number of cells, length, steps, coordinate points, ratio, etc. In the case of routes, activities such as moving according to instructions, making routes, finding the route, and modifying the route were presented using unconditional movement and conditional movement. In particular, the movement of a point could be linked not only to various mathematical content areas such as 'number and arithmetic' and 'change and relationship', but also to digital literacy and programming education. Knowing that the movement of a point can be presented in various ways according to the direction, distance, and route, it is expected that it can be used to organize the contents of the 2022 revised mathematics textbook.

  • With the advancement of mobile information technology, the era of smart work emerges as a means for enabling us to overcome temporal and spatial constraints. Thanks to smart mobile devices with seamless access, organizations can assign tasks to employees and provide services to the appropriate customers in mobile environments. In addition, smart work facilitates the improvement of coordination and collaboration among individuals and groups performing organizational tasks. The dramatic performance improvement is manifest by utilization of smart work in organizations. Therefore, the interest in the introduction of smart work is growing. With the lens of time-geography, this study investigates what makes smart work successful. This research, especially, concentrates on the processes for overcoming the temporal and spatial constraints in the field. A case study of the Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Talk and Flash (SMRT T&F) is developed and analyzed through the framework of time-geography and the implementation processes and success factors of SMRT T&F are investigated.

A Study on Students' Conjecturing of Geometric Properties in Dynamic Geometry Environments Using GSP (GSP를 활용한 역동적 기하 환경에서 기하적 성질의 추측)

  • In this paper, we investigated how the GSP environments impact students' conjecturing of geometric properties. And we wanted to draw some implication in teaching and learning geometry in dynamic geometric environments. As results, we conclude that when students were given the problem situations which almost has no condition, they were not successful, and rather when the problem situations had appropriate conditions students were able to generate many conditions which were not given in the original problem situations, and consequently they were more successful in conjecturing geometric properties. And the geometric properties conjectured in GSP environments are more complex and difficult to prove than those in paper and pencil environments. Also the function of moving screen with 'Alt' key is frequently used in conjecturing geometric properties with functions of measurement and calculation of GSP. And students felt happier when they discovered geometric properties than when they could prove geometric properties.

  • This study was to investigate the K-8 grade students' conception types and trend of grade related to evaporation and conditions of evaporation activities. Twenty-five students were random sampled and they were interviewed in-depth during designed activities related to evaporation and conditions of evaporation. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The students' conceptions related to evaporation activities were divided into 5 types. The conceptions related to conditions of evaporation were divided into 5 types, too. Students' conceptions gradually changed to scientific conceptions with grade. But alternative conceptions were continued also.

The Relationship Between pH and the Activity of Ferrous Iron In the Reduced Soil Under Water-logging (담수조건(湛水條件)에서 환원(還元)된 토양용액(土壤溶液)중 pH와 Fe++ 이온의 활동도(活動度)와의 관계(關係))

  • The relationship between pH and the activity of ferrous iron in the reduced soil under water-logging was investigated theoretically and experimentally. The results of this study revealed, contrary to hitherto assumed, that the $pH-Fe^{+{+}}$ relationship in the commonly occurring rice soils under reduced condition is close to that in $FeCO_3-CO_2-H_2O$ system, being remote from that in $Fe_3(OH)_8-H_2O$ system and $Fe(OH)_2-H_2O$ system. This indicates that the activity of ferrous iron in the reduced rice soils under water-logging is likely to be governed by $FeCO_3$, neither by $Fe_3(OH)_8$, nor by $Fe(OH)_2$.
