This study attempts to elucidate manifold dimensions of gendered accessibility experiences. How gender roles(household responsibilities) differentiate accessibility experiences between women and men is explored through the comparison of married dual-earner couples' parental status, using the US Portland activity-travel diary dataset with GIS-based geocomputation results of(time-geography based) space-time accessibility. First, this study shows how gender division of labor within the household still permeates current society, despite the widespread belief of the social change toward a gender-egalitarian society. Then, the study pays special attention to the way gender roles structure individual accessibility experiences of women and men differently, and, in turn, the way such accessibility experiences take a form of gendered spatiality. Gendered spatiality is examined through the analysis of accessibility space as well as activity space in order to ascertain women's home-attached and spatially entrapped characteristics. More household responsibilities throughout a day and, even more, the time constraint of picking up children at the daycare centers after work lead women's possible activity space to be more home-centered. The analysis of the spatio-temporal context of accessibility space makes gendered spatiality visible. However, the findings suggest that behavioral outcomes should be understood with an explicit awareness of constraints individuals face. It is because the revealed activity spaces can be not only an outcome of constraint but also an outcome of choice. Behavioral outcomes should not be treated as a straightforward expression of the level of constraints. It is problematic to expect that behavioral outcomes directly mirror the level of constraints. It is also problematic to suppose that the level of constraints can be straightforwardly elicited from revealed behavioral outcomes.

This study is a qualitative case study of secondary science teachers who are doing educational activities in YouTube. In particular, this study attempts to interpret this case based on Foucault's concept of 'Heterotopia', which means a space that allows for private freedom or deviance by reflecting various utopias without the norms and constraints from every day or real space. Five secondary science teachers who voluntarily opened a personal channel on the YouTube platform and actively uploaded their own videos related to science education participated in the study. In order to understand the experiences of five secondary science teachers, data were individually collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, and the collected data were analyzed using qualitative case study method. For valid interpretation of the study, we also referred to the video contents, teacher training materials, and teaching and learning materials produced by the participants. As a result of the study, seven themes were revealed: 'Desire for one's own unique educational activities,' 'Youtube as an extended classroom space,' 'Expanded network of relationships beyond the classroom barrier,' 'Satisfaction of desire for recognition and experience of identity as a YouTuber,' 'Tension between the educational space and the YouTube,' 'Space to be reborn as a craftsman,' and 'Finding one's own direction as a Teacher-YouTuber.' Given those findings, we found that the identity and desire of secondary science teachers, which were limited in the existing secondary schools and classrooms, was expanded in a new space called YouTube. In addition, we suggested that YouTube could be a space where science teachers can realize their own ideals and feel the joy. And simple regulating teacher's behavior in Youtube space only based on norms and standards shared in traditional educational space would rather hinder their healthy construction of identity and growth.

In this paper, we present an image coder using variable quantizer for newly proposed JPEG extensions which has been standardized as ISO/IEC 10918-3(ITU-T Rec. T.84). It is necessary to alleviate the blocking artifact which is more sensitive to human eye in view of the spatial frequency sensitivity. The blocking artifact arises in the lower activity area rather than in the higher area. Therefore variable quantizer use the horizontal and vertical derivatives for calculating the $8{\times}8$ block activity. We classified nonlinear quantizer parameter into 5 categories in order to finely quantize in the lower active region. As a result of simulation for various images, the proposed coder increases subjective and objective quality at a given bit rate.

본 논문에서는 PKI의 보급으로 변화 될 미래(가까운) 인터넷에서 개인의 프라이버시 침해와 관련하여, 고민해야 할 선택의 문제를 제시한다. 우리는 앞으로 규제되고 통제된 인터넷 공간에서 활동할 것이다. 그런데, 현실 공간과 사이버 공간에서의 가치충돌로 인해 발생할 당면 문제에 대해 우리는 문제 해결을 위해 현상을 해석하고, 여러 가지 해결 방안 중 사이버공간에 맞는 올바른 해석을 선택 해야한다. 한 예로 사이버 공간에서 행해지는 진보된 새로운 기술을 가진 감시자의 행위가 판단자(현실공간에서 삶을 영위하는 사람들)로 하여금 개인의 프라이버시 침해인 것인가에 대한 판단을 요구 할 것이다. 선택의 결과는 많은 논란과 여러 가지 해석의 차이를 불러일으킬 것이며, 그른 해석과 선택으로 인한 개인의 프라이버시 침해는 전혀 예기치 않은 곳에서 발생 할 것이다. 사이버 공간은 현실 공간과 유사하지만 전혀 다른 공간이다. 이에 따라 관련 법규의 해석과 적용 역시 현실 공간과 다르다. 이의 관점에서 현재 우리나라의 전자서명 및 전자거래 관련 법규와 PKI 구조에서 이에 따른 해석의 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

호안을 보호하기 위해 테트라포드(TTP)로 대표되는 소파블록이 항만, 어촌 어항지역 등 해안 전역에 걸쳐 사용되고 있다. 하지만 친수활동의 증가로 테트라포드에서의 해안안전사고가 증가하고 있으며, 테트라포드가 가지는 형태적, 색상적 특성으로 인해 안전, 경관, 환경 측면에서 심각한 문제를 일으키고 있어 보다 안전한 친수활동 공간을 제공할 수 있으며 해안경관을 향상시킬 수 있는 소파블록 디자인 개발이 시급하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 사용되고 있는 소파블록의 문제점을 분석하고 국내외 기술개발 현황을 바탕으로 소파블록 디자인 개선사항을 제시하였다.

In accordance with the increased demand for ocean use, the Marine Spatial Planning system was introduced to rationally allocate ocean space, under which fishing activity protection zones have been designated to protect fishery activities and promote fishery resource protection. However, fishing vessels that mainly sail in fishing activity protection zones are exposed to risk, such that they account for about 70% of marine accidents that occur in Korea, Proper risk management is thus required. This study aims to analyze marine accidents in fishing activities protection zones and port and navigation zones to secure the safety of fishing vessels passing within fishing activity protection zones. To this end, the traffic volume in marine use zones was investigated, and marine accidents were investigated by ship type, accident type, tonnage, accident cause, and loss of life. Analysis determined that most of the marine accidents per unit area of each type occurred in port and navigation zones, but overall most marine accidents occurred in fishing activity protection zones. In particular, it was found that traffic safety management was necessary because many human accidents occurred.
