The objective of this research is to examine the mediating roles of nursing professional values and occupational stress in the relationship between self-leadership and patient-centered nursing among nurses employed at COVID-19 designated hospitals. This study were 160 nurses at a COVID-19 designated hospitals, and the data were collected from January 10 to February 30, 2022. The collected data were analyzed by independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and SPSS PROCESS Macro model No 4 bootstrapping method. The average score for self-leadership was 61.3±8.55, nursing professional values was 95.5±11.66, occupational stress was 51.3±4.76, and patient-centered nursing was 59.3±7.63. The mediating effect of nursing professional values and occupational stress was confirmed in the influence relationship between self-leadership and patient-centered nursing of nurses at COVID-19 designated hospitals. This result suggests that the content related to improve nursing professional values and reduce occupational stress should be considered when applying the patient-centered nursing enhancement program.

This study was conducted to identify the influences of bioethics awareness and patient-centered care on attitude of terminal care of hospice nurses. The participants were 145 nurses working in hospice care center of hospitals in Korea. Data were collected during May and June in 2018 and were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple hierarchecal regression analysis using SPSS 24.0 program. Attitude of terminal care was influenced by hospice specialist certification (β=.15, p=.031), bioethics awareness (β=-.24, p=.003), and patient-centered care (β=.36, p<.001) in the regression model. These variables explained 36.9% of attitude of terminal care. In order to improve the attitude of terminal care of hospice nurses, programs for improving patient-centered care competence including bioethics awareness should be provided.

The aim of this study was to compare perception between patient and nurse on comprehensive nursing care service using SERVQUAL model. To accomplish this goal, the 5 gaps of expectation-perception on comprehensive nursing care service was analyzed. The subjects were 192 nurses and 321 patients who admitted in comprehensive nursing care service wards. As results, patient's satisfaction was higher than patient's expectation and also nurse's performance. Therefore, we found that comprehensive nursing care service would contribute to perform holistic nursing care services in the future. To develop comprehensive nursing care service system sustainably, it needs continuous measurement of patient's expectation and satisfaction using conceptual model of this study.

This study was to develop the simulation learning scenario using standardized patients, and to evaluate the effect of it. This study was a pre-post test design with a single group and participants were recruited from fourth-year nursing students at a university. This study has developed the case scenario for a patient with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage and the simulation learning using standardized patients, which was applied in this study, had improved problem solving ability and clinical performance ability on nursing students. Through this study, the nursing student will grow up to be a professional nurse by learning the nursing assessment including consciousness assessment. Also, the simulation learning scenario using standardized patient should be developed in the various fields.
