  • 2000 년대 초반부터 글로벌화에 따라 화상회의 시스템이 정부와 기업에 중요한 업무지원도구로 확산이 되고 있다. 그 동안은 화상회의는 기업이라는 제한된 울타리에서 1:1 또는 다자간의 회의를 위한 도구로 만족을 하였지만 점차 화상회의를 상업용, 가정용으로 적극적인 활용을 모색하는 추세이다. 또한 기존의 인터넷, 모바일 등을 이용한 비즈니스 모델은 발전의 한계점에 도달하였으며, 고객들의 새로운 요구에 부응하기 위하여는 화상회의를 이용한 비즈니스 모델의 출현이 요구되는 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 화상회의를 이용한 비즈니스의 확산을 위하여, 화상회의 비즈니스 모델의 구조를 설계하였다. 또한 설계를 적용할 수 있는 환경연구로서, e-커머스에 대응한 화상회의 상거래, 즉 v-커머스를 지향한 기술 및 서비스 구성, 비즈니스 모델의 유형과 고객가치속성, 모델의 구성요소, 적용사례 등을 제시하였다.

Extension and Evaluation of Cooperation Protocol for Agent-based Videoconference System (에이전트 기반 화상회의 시스템에서 협조 프로토콜의 확장 및 평가)

  • In this paper, we propose the extension of cooperation protocol which realizes the autonomous control of QoS and show its effectiveness with implementation and experiments of our agent-based videoconference system. The autonomous QoS control in the agent-based videoconference system means the framework of adjusting its functions/abilities by itself to cope with the changes of user requirements and system resource situations. But, the original cooperation protocol used by the agent-based videoconference system is not enough to perform cooperation closely to use the limited resources effectively. In our proposal, the cooperation protocol is offended in the following points: (1) introducing a cooperation states, (2) extension of performatives, (3) introducing compromise levels. We embedded the proposed protocol to the agent-based videoconference system and experimented the behavior of the system. According to the experiments on this prototype system, we confirmed that the flexibility of the system is improved.

Implementation of a Content-Based Image Retrieval System with Color Assignments (칼라 지정을 이용한 내용기반 화상검색 시스템 구현)

  • In this paper, a conernt-based image retrival system with color assigments has been stueide and implment-ed. The color of images has been extracted after changing RGB color space to HSV(hue, saturation, value)that is the most compatible color for peop]e's feeling. In the color extracting, an image is divided into 9 different areasand 3 major colors for each area are selected by using color histograms. It is possible to chose the class of umages by keywords. We are evaluate four different types of queries such as an image input, keywords with color assignments, combining an image input and keywords with color assinments, and selecting specific part of an umage. Experimental rusults show that four different query types privide precision/recall 0.55/0.37, 0.57/0.43, 0.59/0.45 and 0.63/0.61, respectively. With color assignments, the retrieval system has been able to obtain high performance and validity.

  • In this paper, we designed the on-line Real-time Video Communication Learning System(RVCLS) for Web-based project learning and develop programs for test groups. And we have also analyzed how the Web-based learning using RVCLS change the students' perception on the classroom environment, using the WIHIC which is the classroom environment examination tool As a result, the Web-based project learning activities using RVCLS had affirmative effects on the eight areas of classroom environment such as students unity, teacher support, participation in class, spontaneity, exploration activities, task-oriented mind, cooperative attitude, and equality. Also, the web -based project learning using RVCLS is expected to help students enhance the self-directed learning capacity and increase abilities to use ICT.

A Study about Detection of Defects in the Nuclear Piping Loop System Using Cooling Lock-in Infrared Thermography (원전 배관 루프시스템의 냉각 위상잠금 적외선열화상을 이용한 결함 검출에 관한 연구)

  • A study on the application of cooling defect detection was performed on the basis of a preceding study on the heated defect detection in nuclear piping loop system, using lock-in infrared thermography. A loop system with piping defects was made by varying the wall-thinning length, the circumference orientation angle, and the wall-thinning depth. The test was performed using an IR camera and a cooling device. Distance between the cooling device and the target loop system was fixed at 2 m. For analyzing experimental results, the temperature distribution data for cooling, and phase data were obtained. Through the analysis of this data, the defect length was measured. The reliability of the measurements for cooling defect conditions was shown to be higher in the lock-in infrared thermography data than the infrared thermography data.

The Implementation of a Lift Emergency Video Call System based on WebRTC using OpenAPI

  • In this paper, we present a WebRTC-based emergency video call system structure that builds a service system in a constant monitoring environment to increase the usability and stability of elevator emergency call devices. The proposed system provides a smooth call environment between the emergency call system in the elevator and maintenance managers in case of an emergency, performs rapid response processing to elevator emergency calls through monitoring of the target elevator, and handles any emergency calls that may occur in the physical space of the elevator. The purpose is to build an environment that can implement low-latency, real-time video call services of voice and video by overcoming the physical constraints required for video calls. To this end, we have established a service environment based on OpenAPI, which is currently used in various fields and its performance has been proven, and provides video calls and emergency situation dissemination through rapid messaging by providing low-latency call quality. The presented system structure will be able to provide a basis for expanding various functions and constructing a reliable service environment and intelligent model for the elevator system through combination with the elevator control panel and various devices.

  • 스마트 디바이스를 보유 및 사용하고 있는 사람들이 계속해서 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 스마트 디바이스를 보다 효과적으로 사용할 수 있는 기술, 그 중에서도 상황 인지 기술에 대한 연구가 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 상황 인지 기술은 인지할 수 있는 상황이 매우 단편적이며, 시스템을 원활하게 가동하는 데 필요한 사전 작업이 번거로운 등 여러 가지 제한이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 상황 인지 기술 중에서도 가장 많이 사용되는 위치 정보 기반 시스템과 화상 데이터 기반 시스템을 융합하여, 위치한 장소의 특성을 파악할 수 있는 상황 인지 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 위치정보가 삽입되어있는 화상 데이터를 분석하여 장소의 특성을 파악하고, 해당 위치에 도달하였을 때 특성에 맞는 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 해당 시스템을 통해 상황 인지 기반 서비스를 쉽게 구축할 수 있고, 사용자가 쉽게 서비스를 제공받도록 할 수 있다.

A Design and Implementation of a Content_Based Image Retrieval System using Color Space and Keywords (칼라공간과 키워드를 이용한 내용기반 화상검색 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • Most general content_based image retrieval techniques use color and texture as retrieval indices. In color techniques, color histogram and color pair based color retrieval techniques suffer from a lack of spatial information and text. And This paper describes the design and implementation of content_based image retrieval system using color space and keywords. The preprocessor for image retrieval has used the coordinate system of the existing HSI(Hue, Saturation, Intensity) and preformed to split One image into chromatic region and achromatic region respectively, It is necessary to normalize the size of image for 200*N or N*200 and to convert true colors into 256 color. Two color histograms for background and object are used in order to decide on color selection in the color space. Spatial information is obtained using a maximum entropy discretization. It is possible to choose the class, color, shape, location and size of image by using keyword. An input color is limited by 15 kinds keyword of chromatic and achromatic colors of the Korea Industrial Standards. Image retrieval method is used as the key of retrieval properties in the similarity. The weight values of color space ${\alpha}(%)and\;keyword\;{\beta}(%)$ can be chosen by the user in inputting the query words, controlling the values according to the properties of image_contents. The result of retrieval in the test using extracted feature such as color space and keyword to the query image are lower that those of weight value. In the case of weight value, the average of te measuring parameters shows approximate Precision(0.858), Recall(0.936), RT(1), MT(0). The above results have proved higher retrieval effects than the content_based image retrieval by using color space of keywords.
