This paper proposes a new image processing algorithm to recognize korean documents. It take out the region of syllable area from input character image, then it makes recognition of a consonant and a vowel in the character. A precision segmentation is very important to recognize the input character. The input image has 8-bit gray scaled resolution. Not only the shape but also vertical and horizontal lines dispersion graph are used for segmentation. Theresult shows a higher accuracy of character segmentation.

An image processing algorithm is developed in order to recognize the type of cars, the position of a number plate and the characters on the plate. To recognize the type af cars, comparison of two images is used. One has a car image, the other is just a background image without car. After that recognition, a vertical line filter is used to find the location of the plate. Finally the similarity method is used to recognize the numbers on the plates.

The object of this study is to develop simulation model using GASS for analyzing complex agricultural marketing. It's hard to analyze agricultural marketing system which consists of many marketing unit by economic mathematical model. This paper proposes simulation model based on GASS which can reduce complexity of system, and applies the national average wholesale cost and retail cost of alpine Chinese cabbage at 2001, 2002 to proposed simulation model.

In this paper, we consider a decentralized observer design problem for fault detection in large-scaled linear time-invariant systems. Since the fault detection residual is desired to be sensitive on the fault, we use the H_ index performance criterion. Sufficient conditions for the existence of such an observer is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

본 논문은 선형 행렬 부등식 기반의 디지털 재설계 기법의 점근적 성질을 논의한다. 이를 위하여 델타 작용소를 기반한 디지털 재설계 기법을 제안한다. 샘플링 주기의 감소에 따른 재설계된 디지털 제어기의 성능회복을 증명한다.

본 연구는 국내 원전구조물에 사용된 실제 재료와 배합조건으로 시편을 제작하여 공학적 방벽의 재령에 따른 물리적 특성의 변화를 관찰하였다. 압축강도, 탄성계수, 투기계수, 투수계수를 측정하여 원전 콘크리트의 물리적 특성을 성능을 평가한다.

Distributed localization algorithms are required for large-scale wireless sensor network applications. In this paper, we introduce an efficient algorithm, termed weighted neighbor-node distribution localization(WNDL), which emphasizes simple refinement and low system-load for low-cost and low-rate wireless sensors. We inspect WNDL algorithm through MATLAB simulation.

모두에게 가장 방심할 수 없는 위협인 끝없이 확장되어가는 두문자어에 대해 미군에게 감사해마지 않는다. 컴퓨터 Y2k문제는 생수 판매에 있어서는 호재였지만 두자리 숫자 연도 버그는 1973년 카호우렉 혜성이 출현하지 않음을 지나치게 강조하였던 것과 거의 동일한 효과를 가졌었다. 여러분은 단어를 축약시키는 두문자어에 대해 무엇을 기해했는가? 여러분이 기억하는 바와 같이 몇년전 이 문제에 대한 심각한 논의가 시작되었을 때 이는 2000년 버그라 칭해졌었고 그리곤 곧 Y2000으로 줄여지더니 다시 Y2K로 단축되었다. 마침내 이는 "체!"가 되었고 본질적으로 사라져버렸다.

A improved method to measure the wavefront aberration of aspheric lens is described. In this study, which is a kind of lateral shearing interferometry, a sinusoidal diffraction grating is used for better quality of interferogram. Also,the grating is inclined to horizontal axis for obtaining the two orthogonal derivatives and minimizing moving error simultaneously. Measurement result shows that the repeatability is about 6 times better then that of previouse Ronchi Test.
