Purpose : Vesicoureteral reflux(VUR) is defined as a retrograde flow of urine from the bladder into the upper urinary tract. It has been shown to predispose patients to hypertension, renal scarring, and end-stage renal failure if not recognized and treated. The observation that VUR occurs in siblings of children with reflux at a significantly higher rate than the general pediatric population has been recognized for many years and VUR was detected in 26% to 51% of siblings of patients with VUR. The purpose of this study is to determine the incidence of VUR in asymptomatic siblings of children with VUR and to see if this form of screening would be practical. Methods : We retrospectively reviewed the records of 28 patients with VUR and their siblings. The total number of asymptomatic siblings investigating VUR were 28 persons. All patients and siblings were evaluated for VUR by a voiding cystourethrography and all patients and siblings with VUR were performed $^{99m}Tc$ 2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid renal scan. Results : A total of 28 patients(14 boys, 14 girls) with VUR were studied; the mean patient age was 2.7 years(range 1 month to 8.4 years). The total number of asymptomatic siblings investigating VUR were 28 persons(17 boys, 11 girls) and the mean age was 3.3 years(range 2 months to 7.4 years). Renal scar was detected in 20 of 28(71.4%) patients with VUR. VUR was noted in three of 28(10.7%) siblings and renal scar was detected in one of three siblings with VUR. Conclusion : In this study, the predictive value of a positive family history alone in identifying VUR was 10.7%. This incidence suggests more investigation of asymptomatic siblings and continued study of this group of patients at risk is needed for clarifying the family screening of patients with VUR.

This study examined the current trend of the qualitative researches on the experiences of individuals who have siblings with disabilities. This study analyzed 17 research articles that either have been published in journals or nominated during the recent ten years, attempting to suggest future directions of the research on siblings who have siblings with disabilities. This study analyzed 17 research papers examining their participants, research methods, and research topics. The results of the previous literature analysis are the followings. Phenomenological approach is the most frequently used research method and normally developing siblings who were in their 20s participated in the researches most. As most research papers did not consider the normally developing siblings birth order, sex, and types of disabilities, future researches will need to specify these variables. The results of this study suggest the followings. Researchers have tried to investigate and understand the experience of the individuals who have siblings with disabilities, using phenomenological research method. Future research should go beyond the phenomenological research to developed theories that can affect the government policies, employing various research methods with specified participants. Further, this study has also identified that the individuals who have siblings with disabilities wanted to be identified as a separate cohort that needs to be researched and receive support.

This paper discusses the incompleteness of the SNOMED CT and proposes a noble metric which evaluates similarity among sibling nodes as a method to address this incompleteness. SNOMED CT encompasses an extensive range of medical terms, but it faces issues of ontology incompleteness, such as missing concepts in the hierarchy. We propose a noble metric for evaluating similarity among nodes within a node group, composed of multiple sibling nodes, to identify missing concepts, and identify groups with low similarity. Analyzing the similarity of sibling node groups in the March 2023 international release of SNOMED CT, the average similarity of 29,199 sibling node groups, which are sub-concepts of the clinical finding concept and are consist of two or more sibling nodes, was found to be 0.81. The group with the lowest similarity was associated with child concepts of poisoning, with a similarity of 0.0036.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of family resilience on the positive attitudes toward a children with disabilities of non-disabled siblings. For this purpose, a survey data was collected from 110 siblings with disabled children. The general characteristics of the parent questionnaire, and the general characteristics of a child with a disability, non-disability sibling's general characteristics, be receptive attitude, consisted of family resilience, and the data were analyzed by frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t test, ANOVA and regression analysis by SPSS 18.0. Structural equation was used for black AMOS18. The results of the measurement analysis were summarized as follows: 1. family resilience showed positive correlation with positive attitudes toward a children with disabilities of non-disabled siblings. 2. as a result of regression analysis for find out influence of family resilience on the positive attitude of non-disabled siblings, family resilience was statistically significant influence factors, which 50%, 50% explanatory power. In conclusion, these results reinforce the important of considering family context as a contributor to the positive attitudes toward a children with disabilities of non-disabled siblings, so it could be suggested that family resilience needs to be improve.

This study focuses on the characters and spacial expressions from the film , one of the representative works of the Coen brothers. The esoteric narrative of the film could be analyzed by understanding the symbolic expressions present throughout the film. The unrealistic characters, spaces, and props that appear along with the main character contain a symbolic meaning and adhere to the artist's worldview. These expressions contribute to creating a unique world for the Coen brothers and significantly impacted later films. Coen brothers' other films and , similarly display the unrecognizable world that coexists with the real world and the powerful presence that dominates it within the world. This study examines the use of symbolic characters and spacial expressions shown in the representative works of the Coen brothers.

농장을 방문할 때 으레 거처야 하는 소독터널. 돼지가 질병에 걸리면 농장주의 손해는 기본이고 소비자들의 신뢰가 무너진다. 철통같은 차단방역과 엄격한 위생관리부터 질병의 예방은 시작된다. 세종시 부강면에 위치한 형제농장도 당연히 소독터널을 거쳐 방문하였다. 대학을 졸업하고 남들처럼 평범한 직장생활, 일명 화이트칼라가 꿈이었던 장영훈 대표는 오랫동안 양계업에 종사하시는 부모님을 둔 아들로서 좀 더 전문화된 축산경영을 위하여 대학에서 축산을 전공하였다. 축산인의 길을 선택한지 벌써 10년째. 돼지 500두로 양돈사업을 시작하여 지금은 5,500두에 이른 성공한 30대 축산경영인이다. 축산물품질평가대상 수상이 이번에 무려 세 번째라는 형제농장의 장영훈 대표를 만나 그의 축산 이야기를 들어 보았다.

The purpose of this study was to examine how mothers intervened in conflicts between siblings aged 3-5. The subjects of this study were 51 sibling dyads and their mothers. The siblings were asked to carry out 4 different tasks. The sibling conflicts occurring during the tasks and their mothers' interventions were observed and recorded. The results were as follows. Fist, mothers tended not to intervene in sibling conflicts. Second, when they intervened, they tended to use strategies considered less desirable such as ‘parental control’ Third, although small in numbers, some mothers intervened in sibling conflict in a positive way. In such cases, sibling conflicts ended in compromise and reconciliation. The implications for parent education were discussed.

말뭉치는 기계학습 및 심층학습을 위한 필수 자원이다. 한국어 개체명의 경우 학습에 사용할 잘 정제된 개체명 부착 말뭉치가 충분하지 않다. 말뭉치 정제 작업은 시간적, 경제적으로 많은 비용이 소모된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 적은 양의 말뭉치를 이용하여 말뭉치를 자동적으로 확장하는 방법을 제안한다. 특별히 소규모 말뭉치에 속하는 문장의 단어에 대한 형제어들을 선정하여 형제어의 확률추출을 기반으로 대체함으로써 새로운 문장을 생성함으로써 말뭉치 확장하는 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 확장된 말뭉치를 이용해서 대부분의 시스템에서 성능이 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 앞으로 단어의 삭제 및 삽입 등 다양한 방법으로 좀 더 다양한 문장을 생성할 수 있을 것으로 생각합니다.
