A hybrid system is a combination of sub systems which have different types of state and time: a typical example is a combination of discrete event and continuous systems. A HDEVS(Hybrid DEVS) formalism was proposed for modeling and analyzing a hybrid system. The HDEVS formalism allows modelers to construct a hierarchical and modular model based on the mathematical set theory. Because the HDEVS formalism was applied to the distributed and interoperated simulators, modelers should make several heterogenous models dividing a target system. Hence, this paper proposes an extended hybrid coupled model of HDEVS formalism and an integrated hybrid modeling methodology in contrast to the existing simulation framework on interoperable simulators. By applying the proposed modeling method, a target system can be translated to a hybrid model in a similar form as the target system. This paper also contains a simulation engine design for the proposed modeling methodlogy and a case study which simulates water tank control systems.

In this paper, an alagorithm with six types of classification is suggested for the recognition system of hand-written Korean characters. After thinning process and truncating process for noise redection. The input images are used generalized by $64\times64$ size. The six type classification is composed of preliminary and secondary classification process by using the learning algoritm of multi-layer perceptron. Subblock Hough transform is used as local feature and sampling Hough transform is used as global feature. Experiment is conducted for 1800 characters which is written 31 times per each type by 10 persons. The 90% recognition rate is resulted by the preliminary classification of detection the final consonant and by the secondary classification of detecting the vowels.

We investigated the proper display environment for japanese electronic character reading lessons through the experiment with a projection TV and a computer. For the purpose of finding out the effect of prior learning activities at the context of authentic Japanese text orthography, which includes dual notation, words spacing, etc., we also made an experiment on comprehending the web documents which are extracted from japanese web sites. From the experimental results, we acquired a conclusion that two approaches are needed to enhance the ability of comprehending Japanese web documents which is newly added to the 7th curriculum revision. For short-term approach, we need to utilize Japanese web documents as learning materials. For long-term approach, we have to reconsider whether the orthography of the current Japanese textbooks is suitable or not.

In this paper, we studied on new method of recognition using structural information to recognize character pattern in orginal shape of Hangeul. First, for the purpose of knowing location of character in input image. it processed Making block. Second, after we investigated. whether vertical vowel exited or not in character image accordingly the center of gravity of Hangeul. each character was classified into Type of Hangeul by searching location and length for horizontal vowel and short pole. Last, we processed it by means of template matching which calculate Uclid's distance on each Jaso in accordance to type classified. This paper made an experiment on 2350 characters and obtained 98.3% classifing rate and 95.2% recognizing rate.

When planning lessons and developing materials about mathematical teaching and learning, we should condignly change and reconstruct contents and orders in light of ranks and connections between subject materials. Moreover teachers should teach mathematical concepts so that students might understand then not only independently and disjunctively but also relationally and reflectively. For this, teachers have to prepare thoroughly. By analyzing advanced research for mathematical connections, this study categorizes them according to two conditions: internal-external and content-formality. Through this, tactical aspect similarity and indistinguishability between mathematical external connections and mathematical internal connections have been identified. Based upon this fact, this study proposed the principles and the examples of tactical aspect on mathematical Internal Connetions.

Modem efforts on digitizing electronic books focus on preserving authentic image representation of the original sources. Unlike the text-based format, it is difficult to recognize the information in the image, so the new format requires new tools to help users to access, process, and make sense of digital information. This paper presents an approach which assists users of these image sources by giving them a combination of annotation and social navigation support. Especially in the education domain, the proposed technique improves the usability of online education system. This approach is currently fully implemented and under evaluation in a classroom study.

The system needs to be modified to improve the performance of the aircraft in operation or to satisfy the requirements of related laws. Appropriate standards are required for the technical skills for remodeling the aircraft system, design verification for airworthiness of the aircraft, and supplemental type certification (STC) certification procedures for type certification. This study analyzes the current status and demand of domestic aircraft remodeling, examines the current supplementary type certification procedure, and diagnoses the problem. In addition, as a result of researching measures to improve remodeling technology and certification capabilities to extend the life of the aircraft, improvements in the education system were derived to improve the domestic additional type certification process, such as approval of remodeling agencies and appointment of qualifications for each professional technician.

Floating-point images that express pixel information as real numbers are used in HDR images. There have been various researches on efficient median filter algorithms, but most of them are applicable to 8-bit depth images and there are only a few number of algorithms applicable to floating-point images, including Gil and Werman's algorithm. In this paper, we propose a median filter algorithm that works efficiently on floating-point images by improving Kim's algorithm, which improved Gil and Werman's algorithm. Experimental results show that the execution time is improved by about 10% compared to the Kim's algorithm by reducing the redundant work for the repetitively used binary search tree and applying the inverted index.

21 세기 초 경쟁 환경에서 조직이 대처하기 위한 기업환경의 패러다임도 바뀌어 가면서 지식자산은 보다 더 중요한 기업가치 창출의 요소로 자려 잡게 되었다. 그러나 아직까지 대다수의 기업은 지식경영을 수행함에 있어 조직문화나 정보기술과 같은 지식경영 영향요소 (knowledge management enabler)자체에만 초점을 맞추고 있을 뿐 이를 어떻게 전략적으로 활용할 것인가에 대한 명확한 체계를 갖고 있지 못한 것도 사실이다. 따라서 종사원들이 보유하고 있는 지식이 기업의 근본자산이 되는 호텔 기업경영에 있어 변화하는 환경에 능동적으로 대처하며, 또한 시장에서의 경쟁우위의 획득 및 유지를 위해서는 전략적 지식경영 하에서 기업의 지식경영활동이 이루어져야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 호텔기업의 지식경영전략이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 형식지를 중심으로 한 시스템 지향적 지식경영전략과 앙묵지를 중심으로 한 인적 지향적 지식경영전략 모두 경쟁우위 정 (+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 경쟁우위는 재무성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 지식경영전략은 재무성과에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 지식경영전략은 호텔기업의 경쟁우위를 획득 유지시키며 이를 통해 재무성과에 영향을 미친다고 나타났다. 이는 호텔기업에 있어서 모든 지식자산(암묵지, 형식지)를 기반으로 한 지식경영의 중요성을 인식시키고, 보다 지식경영활동을 활성화함으로써 호텔기업의 기업성과를 제고시킬 수 있는 구체적인 실행방안을 제시하였다.

In the case of a weak self-control youth, young students easily tend to fall into addiction by using the Internet as a sensation seeking and an alternative to escape the reality. Until now, internet addiction self-diagnosis techniques such as Internet addiction scale have been developed and used to solve this kind of internet addiction issue. However, traditional methods do not assess the correlation of addiction and the effects of the environment systematically because they are simply composed of redundant addiction scale criteria and questionnaire forms of the diagnostic methods. Thus, in this paper, we propose a new internet addiction self-diagnosis technique based on Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) and implement a self-diagnosis system in order to make a systematic internet addiction self-diagnosis system. In addition, we analyze the correlation of the measured data based on different perspectives such as home environment, family relationships, peer relationships, school life, and so on.
