형식개념(Formal Concept)은 외연(extent)과 내포(intent)를 이용하여 어떤 대상에 대한 정의를 내리거나, 그 대상들을 분류하여 군집화하기 위한 논리적 도구로 사용되어왔다. 여기에서 외연이란 객체(Object)들의 집합이고, 내포는 그 객체들이 지니고 있는 속성(Attribute)들의 집합이다. 이러한 형식개념은 어떤 문제에 나타나는 다양한 데이터로부터 객체와 속성들을 추출하고 이로부터 개념(Concept)들의 계층구조(hierarchy)를 형성하여 데이터를 분석하는데 적용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 형식개념의 정의와 성질을 소개하고, 이를 일반화한 완비격자에서의 형식개념을 정의한다. 또한 이 형식개념에서의 외연과 내포격자에 대한 성질을 알아본다.

현존하는 클래식 음악에는 음악적, 심리적 작곡약속이 있다. 작곡약속을 악식(樂式) 혹은 음악형식(音樂形式)이라고 한다. 즉, 모든 악곡은 일정한 형식에 의하여 작곡된다. 이러한 이유로 악곡에서는 어떤 특징적인 note관계가 규칙적으로 반복해서 나타난다. 이러한 특성은 note간의 관계가 어떻게 변화하는가에 따라서, 악곡 전체에서 segment의 시작과 끝으로 인식되어진다. 본 논문에서는 악곡의 분석을 위해 실제 악보를 컴퓨터 데이터 형식으로 표현하기 위한 SFCM(Score Format for Computer Music)을 정의하여, 악곡의 note를 분석해서 각 소절(measure)별로 대표음 집합을 추출할 수 있도록 하였다. 각 소절의 대표음 집합을 이용해서, note의 변화에 따른 schematic을 생성한다 schematic 생성과 분석을 위해 note-schema의 규칙과 형식을 정의해 놓은 CNSDB(Changing-Note Schema DataBase)를 제안한다. 이러한 데이터 베이스를 이용하여 특징적인 규칙을 찾아내고, 적용해 악곡에서 segment를 나눌수 있다. 본 논문에서는 1700년대의 클래식 음악에서 특히 잘 나타나는 규칙을 적용해서 분석하였다.

In highschool probability education, this study analyzed conflicts between intuitive concept and formal definition which originates from the process of establishing the concept of statistical independence. In judging independence, completely different types of problems requiring their own approach was analyzed by dividing them into two types. By doing so, this study researched a way to view independence as an overall idea. That is purposed to suggest a solution to a conflicts between intuitive concept and formal definition and to help not to judge independence out of wrong intuition. This study also suggests that calculation process which leads to precise perception of sample space and event be provided when we prove independence by expressing events with assembly symbols.

타르스키는 최근 발표된 그의 유고에서 흥미 있는 논리상항의 정의를 제공하였다. 그의 정의는 그가 1927년이래 린덴바움과 함께 연구하였고, 1935년에 강연으로 발표하였던 메타 논리적 탐구의 결과들에 근거하는 것으로서, 1966년과 1973년의 강연들에서 제공하였던 '논리적 개념들'(logical notions)의 정의에 바탕을 둔 것이었다. 타르스키의 논리상항의 정의는 역사적으로는 클라인의 에어랑겐 프로그램(Erlangen Programme)의 논리학에 대한 적용이라 할 수 있는 것으로서, 마우트너의 유사한 시도와 함께 주목할 만한 가치가 있다. 또한 그의 정의는 논리상항을 논리적 형식의 개념에 의존하지 않고, 보다 중립적인 '모든 변환에 있어 불변적임'(invariance under all transformations)이라는 개념을 사용하고 있다는 점에서도 흥미있는 시도로서 여겨질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 타르스키의 논리상항의 정의와 그 확장에 대하여 논의한 뒤, 몇 가지 비판적인 논점을 제공하고자 한다. 특히 타르스키의 정의가 과연 중립적이고 순환적이지 않은가 하는 문제에 대한 논의를 통하여 논리상항의 정의에 대한 새로운 관점을 확보하고자 한다.

기존의 데이타 모델 및 설계 방법론들은 실세계의 데이타 객체에 대해 고정된 한 측면의 모델 표현만을 허용하기 때문에 여러 측면으로 관측이 가능한 실세계 객체들의 표현에 어려움을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 객체의 측면 개념을 제공하는 객체 중심 측면 모델(OOAM : Object-Oriented EA Model)의 기본 개념을 보여주고 OOAM에 의해 구축되는 데이타베이스 스키마의 시맨틱을 분석하고 서술하기 위해 OOAM을 형식적으로 정의하였다. 먼저 데이타베이스 설계 과정에서 필요한 공리들을 설정하고 OOAM을 intension과 extension으로 각각 정의한 후 그들 사이의 관계를 정의하였다.

This study aimed to explore the saliences of formal school science and their influences on the attitude toward science communication through mass media. Saliences of school science are salient memories of school science which a perciever attends to selectively among various aspects of formal school science. Among saliences. external saliences refer to the sensory aspects of formal school science. and internal saliences refer to the observers' cognition. Attitude toward science communication through mass media constitute six scales; exposure. cognition. focus. belief. self perception of understanding. application. The questionnaire were developed and sample was selected by multi-stage stratified clustering. The sample size was 1,825. The data was analysed by correlation and multiple stepwise regression. Positive saliences were lab work and science teacher and negative saliences were lecture and exam/grade. According to the correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis. saliences of the formal school science could account only a small part of the attitude toward science communication through mass media. Internal salieces could account the attitude toward science communication than external salience. Further studies on new models including attitude towards science are needed.

시각 언어는 인간-컴퓨터 사이의 인터랙션 수단이다. 올바른 인터랙션을 위하여 저작된 컨텐츠와 재생되는 씬의 시맨틱이 인간과 컴퓨터는 물론 인간과 인간 사이에서 일관성과 신뢰성을 가져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 인터랙션의 일관성과 신뢰성을 위한 시각 언어의 시각문장 집합을 정의하고 형식화한다. 이러한 형식화는 시각 언어의 시각적 저작 내용의 모호성을 제거하여 공동 참여자의 신뢰성을 높인다. 또한 형식 정의에 대하여 저작 컨텐츠와 재생 씬의 동일성을 그래프로 증명한다. 이러한 형식 정의를 MPEG-4 컨텐츠 저작 도구에 적응한다. 즉. 각 객체 사이의 시간관계 정의에 따라 저작하며, 사용자 인터랙션에 따른 씬의 속성의 변화를 효율적으로 지원한다. 저작된 컨텐츠는 씬의 속성 정보에 따라 객체 사이의 동기화를 유지하면서 재생한다.

본 논문에서는 semantic parsing과 사전 정의된 어휘-의미 패턴 질의 템플릿 방법론을 결합하여 자연어 질의로부터 RDF 지식베이스에 질의하기 위한 SPARQL 쿼리를 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. semantic parsing 접근법은 문장의 표현과 분리된 형식적 의미표현만을 포착해내므로, paraphrase 혹은 의미 변화와 무관한 어순의 변화에 강인하지만, 일부 자연어 질의문장에는 단순한 의미 및 구조를 갖는 문장도 적합한 형식적 의미표현을 생성하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 이러한 단순한 문장에 있어서는 사전 정의된 질의 템플릿을 사용하여 적합한 쿼리를 생성하되, 적합한 템플릿을 선택하는데 있어 해당 질의문장의 어휘-의미적 유형을 포착하고 해당 정보를 이용하는 방법을 이용하였으며 이를 통해 주 방법론의 약점을 보완하는 제한적인 효과를 얻을 수 있었다.

본 고는 통신 시스템에서 연구개발 결과의 품질 향상을 위한 검토 방법에 대한 표준화를 분석하였다. 본 고에서는 검토 방법론을 정립하기 위하여, 검토의 정의, 분류, 소요비용에 대한 설명을 하고, 검토에 대한 사례로서 ISO 9000, ISO/IEC 12207, ITU-T Z.400 표준화 등에 정의된 방법들을 분석하였다. 검토 방법에 대한 표준화는 산출 문서의 형식적인 검토, 단계별 검토사항, 관리적 검토와 기술적인 검토 등으로 구분하였으며, 단계별 검토에서는 설계에 대한 검토 사항, 시험에서의 검토 사항 등을 상세히 기술하고 있다.

This study aims to analyze and criticize the definition of the similarity concept in mathematical texts by investigating mathematical history. At first, we analyzed the definition of Pythagoras, the definition of Euclid's ${\ll}$Elements${\gg}$, the definition of Clairaut's ${\ll}$Elements of geometry${\gg}$, the postulate of Brkhoff's postulates for plane geometry, the definition of Birkhoff & Beatly의 ${\ll}$Basic Geometry${\gg}$. the definition of SMSG ${\ll}$Geometry${\gg}$. and the definition of the similarity concept in current mathematics texts. Then we criticized the definition of the similarity concept in current mathematics texts based on mathematical history. We critically discussed three issues and gave three suggestions.
