Item Recommendation Technique Using Spark (Spark를 이용한 항목 추천 기법에 관한 연구)

  • With the spread of mobile devices, the users of social network services or e-commerce sites have increased dramatically, and the amount of data produced by the users has increased exponentially. E-commerce companies have faced a task regarding how to extract useful information from a vast amount of data produced by the users. To solve this problem, there are various studies applying big data processing technique. In this paper, we propose a collaborative filtering method that applies the tag weight in the Apache Spark platform. In order to elevate the accuracy of recommendation, the proposed method refines the tag data in the preprocessing process and categorizes the items and then applies the information of periods and tag weight to the estimate rating of the items. After generating RDD, we calculate item similarity and prediction values and recommend items to users. The experiment result indicated that the proposed method process large amounts of data quickly and improve the appropriateness of recommendation better.

A Study for Enhancing Efficiency in PUS Contents Development (일반인을 위한 과학대중화 콘텐츠 개발의 효율성 제고 방안)

  • The growing socio-economic effect caused by science and technology requires public to participate in policy-making process, which makes government to boost public understanding of science(PUS). Government has also exerted to construct infra for PUS. However results are not so meaningful. The government-funded science museum has mainly provided the program for students. Besides, science broadcasting channel has recorded the worst viewing rate. Meanwhile, some of the private sector-manufactured contents have attracted public attention in recent years, which is realized by considering elements such as an interesting topic selection, use of outside experts, two-way communication system, level adjusting for public through flexible running system. This study analyze podcast based program, face to face lectures, display contents by private industry, fab lab etc. on the base of the reciprocal PUS model to sort out the reason they have successful results. Futhermore, it argues that government should intensify support for private sector and create synergy effect by cultivate collaboration system between government and private sector to enhance the efficiency of PUS and offers public policy to realize the plan.

A Study on Self-Localization of Home Wellness Robot Using Collaboration of Trilateration and Triangulation (삼변·삼각 측량 협업을 이용한 홈 웰니스 로봇의 자기위치인식에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is to technically implement the sensing platform for Home-Wellness Robot. The self-Localization of indoor mobile robot is very important for the sophisticated trajectory control. In this paper, the robot's self-localization algorithm is designed by RF sensor network and fuzzy inference. The robot realizes its self-localization, using RFID sensors, through the collaboration algorithm which uses fuzzy inference for combining the strengths of triangulation and triangulation. For the triangulation self-Localization, RSSI is implemented. TOA method is used for realizing the triangulation self-localization. The final improved position is, through fuzzy inference, made by the fusion algorithm of the resultant coordinates from trilateration and triangulation in real time. In this paper, good performance of the proposed self-localization algorithm is confirmed through the results of a variety of experiments in the base of RFID sensor network and reader system.

  • 최근 기업들은 분산된 조직과 각 조직의 목적에 따라 데이터베이스도 분산되어 있기 때문에 이들 간의 공유 및 협업을 통한 상호 운용성을 지원하기 어려우므로 일관적인 형태로 연동하기 위해서 메타데이터 수준의 표준이 필요하다. 또한 협업적인 거래환경에서의 EAI시스템은 다양한 정보 시스템에서 관리되는 지식들을 유기적으로 통합하고 공유함으로서 효율적인 검색 및 비용절감 등 많은 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 그러나 기존의 시스템은 특정 목적에 따라 관리되고 공유되므로 사실상 통합 외 공유에는 상당한 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제시하는 XMDR은 온톨로지와 메타데이터 결합된 형태로 각종 표준들을 일관적인 형태로 온톨로지와 시소러스 개념을 도입함으로서 데이터수준의 정보를 통합 하기위한 메타데이터 공유 및 정보 시스템 통합의 일관성을 유지 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제시되는 브리지 XMDR 검색시스템은 원시데이터 계층, XMDR 계층. 브리지 XMDR 계층으로 3계층으로 구성된다. XMDR 계층은 분산된 데이터베이스의 속성표현의 표준과 관계성을 정의한 표준 온톨로지, 카테고리 분류 온틀로지, 사이트의 정보를 제공하는 로케이션 온톨로지로 구성되는 XMDR을 정의한다. 브리지 XMDR 계층은 XMDR간의 정보를 공유하기 위한 공유 도메인 속성을 추출한 하이브리드 통합방식으로 업무간의 의미적 통합이 가능하다.

  • The convergence social app manufacturing platform for both demander and developer in worldwide provides a collective collaborative development approach. This platform can bring enhanced productivity with exchange of views among participants. If the assessment is not fair that many participants will leave the collective collaborative project. The previous studies verified the reliability of the evaluation based on statistical techniques. Because the previous studies did not consider the task performance of participants, do not reflect the feature of project tasks. So, the contribution scores of the participants can be distorted. In this study, we suggest the method for evaluating the development contributions value. This is considered the task performance of participants and involved the method of equitable and consistency peer assessment.

The User Information-based Mobile Recommendation Technique (사용자 정보를 이용한 모바일 추천 기법)

  • As the use of mobile device is increasing rapidly, the number of users is also increasing. However, most of the app stores are using recommendation of simple ranking method, so the accuracy of recommendation is lower. To recommend an item that is more appropriate to the user, this paper proposes a technique that reflects the weight of user information and recent preference degree of item. The proposed technique classifies the data set by categories and then derives a predicted value by applying the user's information weight to the collaborative filtering technique. To reflect the recent preference degree of item by categories, the average of items' rating values in the designated period is computed. An item is recommended by combining the two result values. The experiment result indicated that the proposed method has been more enhanced the accuracy, appropriacy, compared to item-based, user-based method.

  • Mobile edge computing is a technology that can prepare for a new era of cloud computing and compensate for shortcomings by processing data near the edge of the network where data is generated rather than centralized data processing. It is possible to realize a low-latency/high-speed computing service by locating computing power to the edge and analyzing data, rather than in a data center far from computing and processing data. In this article, we develop a virtual mobile edge computing testbed environment where the cloud and edge nodes divide computing tasks from mobile terminals using the EdgeCloudSim simulator. Performance of offloading techniques for distribution of computing tasks from mobile terminals between the central cloud and mobile edge computing nodes is evaluated and analyzed under the virtual mobile edge computing environment. By providing a virtual mobile edge computing environment and offloading capabilities, we intend to provide prior knowledge to industry engineers for building mobile edge computing nodes that collaborate with the cloud.

  • As the number of people who experience sleep disorders is increasily growing, users' desire to improve their sleep quality has also increased. Acoordingly, the 'Sleeptech' market is showing a steady growth. This study designs and proposes a system after consideration of existing related research that can help modern people overcome sleep disorders, which is based on the necessity for customized sleep hygien service. This system analyzes user's sleep data collected through smartphone built-in sensors to calculate sleep patterns, provides customized sleep hygiene-based solutions to users through collaborative filtering, and provides an environment suitable for sleep through the automatic control of IoT devices. This method of using sleep data is expected to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of modern people suffering from sleep disorders, which results from expansion to Sleeptech market as well as improvement of users' sleep habits.

  • Environmental change of consuming contents has led corporates to acknowledge the possibility of social media as being marketing platform. And as the importance of 'contents' is growing bigger at the same time, 'Content Marketing' is getting attention because 'Content' plays the key role in current marketing since it can deliver meaningful values to the companies and the customers both. Many companies are practicing contents marketing employing YouTube by not only creating their own YouTube channels and YouTube contents but also collaborating with YouTube creators. Purpose of this study is to figure out how domestic standalone beauty brands that are actively practicing content marketing, are exploiting the YouTube and to suggest design direction for future YouTube content marketing. 'Etude', 'Innisfree', 'Misha', 'The Face Shop' were selected for analyzing the content marketing cases using YouTube. As a result, this study could conclude that if the brand has inadequate number of subscribers, it is better to collaborate with the creators. Also, clarifying contents' purpose and distinguishing the way of delivering it is important.

신발산업의 공급망 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링

  • 국내 신발산업(Footwear Industry)은 주로 외국의 대형 바이어에 의존적인 형태로 생산하는 주문자 상표 부착 생산방식이 대부분을 차지하며, 신발 제조에서 인건비가 차지하는 비중이 절대적이어서 대형 바이어들이 중국, 베트남, 인도네시아 등의 저임금 국가로 신발 생산기지를 옮겨가고 있다. 이로 인해 국내 신발산업은 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 것이 사실이다. 또한 국내의 신발제조기업들도 상당수 해외에 생산공장을 운영하고 있으며, 국내 생산공장은 그 규모가 굉장히 축소되어 있거나 혹은 연구개발 및 부품 조달기지로서의 역할을 수행하고 있다. 이러한 신발산업의 환경에 변화에 대해 산업 차원에서 대응할 필요성이 있다. 앞으로 국내 신발산업이 성장하기 위해서는 전체 공급망의 협업체제를 갖추는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 공급망 네트워크 구조를 분석하여 비효율적인 부분을 개선해야 하며, 기업간의 비즈니스 프로세스를 새롭게 정립하여 혁신해야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 신발산업의 공급망 네트워크 구조를 분석하여 개선 모델을 제시하였으며, 공급망에서 대부분을 차지하는 신발 완제품 제조기업과 부품 제조기업간의 비즈니스 프로세스를 분석하여 개선된 비즈니스 프로세스를 제시하였다.
