  • This study explored feasibility of social cooperatives as a strategy of struggle to social exclusion in the social services area based on the relationships between people. Is social cooperatives on the Fundamental Act on Cooperatives a new type of social welfare service providers comparing the social welfare foundations and social enterprises? Would be expected as social inclusion processes effects arising from the properties of cooperative in social welfare sector? If social welfare institutions function as an intermediate medium between government and users, social cooperatives can be performed function in the community in a variety of cooperative relationships with Multiple stakeholders, e.g. various service providers, care-givers, social workers, and users, etc., conflicting the interests. In this perspective, looked the possibility of social cooperatives as community welfare practice model.

  • In this paper, we propose a collaborative tracking algorithm for intelligent video surveillance systems using the multiple network cameras. To do this, each camera detects a moving object and it's movement direction by motion templates. Once a moving object is detect, the Kalman filter is used to reduce noises, and a collaborative tracking camera is selected according to the movement direction and the camera state. In this procedure, Pan-Tilt-Zoom(PTZ) parameters are assigned to obtain clear images. Finally, some experiments show the validity of the proposed method.

  • This study suggests about industrial-educational cooperation model through a case study by practical training by industrial-educational cooperation. Practical training of game development process is organized as industrial-educational cooperation pipe-line to represent whole process model, and step-cases about this are described. The purpose of this study is for learners to experience practical industry development process in a direct or indirect way. And above all, educators role in each stages of development is also important. This study would be used as a reference data about practical training and studies related with industrial-educational cooperation.

  • This study examines undergraduate nursing students' user satisfaction and affective experience of collaborative information behavior in a group-based learning through survey method to see the relationship between these factors. For this purpose, the affective experiences (positive and negative aspects) of collaborative information search were examined using the PANAS scale through the same questionnaire. Correlation between students' experiences of collaborative information search and affective aspects were examined, and statistical significance using the t-test were also conducted to measure the relationship among students' demographic factors, experiences of collaborative information search and affective aspects. The results revealed that there was a significant correlation between experiences of collaborative information search and affective aspects. Also, there were significant relationships among students' demographic factors, experiences of collaborative information search and affective aspects. In particular, there were signigicant differences in students' overall satisfaction of collaboration and positive aspects between male and female students who experienced collaborative information search. This study found out the possibilities for a follow-up study for affective aspects in collaborative information behavior.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the meaning of conflict experience in cooperative learning activities of pre-service early childhood teachers. The subjects were 85 pre-service early childhood teachers in W university. The data were collected through unstructured interviews and journal writings of the participants. The study results were as follow. First, pre-service early childhood teacher's conflict experiences in cooperative activity are team meeting, fair participation and evaluation, and conflict of the personal relations. Second, pre-service early childhood teacher's conflict resolution experiences in cooperative activity are autonomy of the team meeting time, reflective thinking, sentimental support, recognition of others, and solving problems by the time spending together. Third, the meanings of conflict experience in cooperative activity are formation of felt responsibility, self-growth through consideration of others, reciprocity, and recognition of the meaning of cooperation.

  • There is much selective confliction in nature where selfish and rational individuals exists. Iterated Prisoner's Dilemma (IPD) game deals with this problem, and has been used to study on the evolution of cooperation in social, economic and biological systems. So far, there has been much work about the relationship of the number of players and cooperation, strategy learning as a machine learning and the effect of payoff functions to cooperation. In this paper, We attempt to investigate the cooperative coalition size according to payoff functions, and observe the relationship of localization and the evolution of cooperation in NIPD (N-player IPD) game. Experimental results indicate that cooperative coalition size increases as the gradient of the payoff function for cooperation becomes steeper than that of defector's payoff function, or as the minimum coalition size gets smaller, Moreover, the smaller the neighborhood of interaction is, the higher the cooperative coalition emerges through the evolution of population.
