본 토양오염실태조사 사례는 환경부(토양보전과)에서 선정한 전국 158개 폐금속광산에 대한 정밀조사사업(2001-2003년) 중 1차년도 사업으로 수행된 경상북도, 경상남도, 대구광역시, 부산광역시 등 4개 광역자치단체(19개 지방자치단체)에 소재하는 영남권역 32개 폐금속광산 토양오염실태조사 결과의 일부로서 경남 거제시 하청면에 소재하는 동아광산에 대하여 현지조사를 실시하고 토양 및 수질오염 실태를 파악, 오염지역에 대한 적절한 복원방법을 제시한 연구사례이다.

This study was conducted to establish a standard recipe for Bulgogi. For the initial result of the study, the process of establishing standard quality indicators was presented based on surveys with regard to the preferences of the Korean people, American residing in Korea and Americans in USA. A basic recipe was selected based on the preference test. Then additional surveys targeting groups of Korean people, American residents in Korea and Americans were conducted after resetting the contents of soy sauce, sugar, spring onion + garlic of the basic recipe. As a result, differences in preferred seasoning contents between the groups were found. Eventually, the decision for the final recipe of the on-the-spot market search was made.

This study is primarily to investigate the alienation process that constitutes the regional identity of the border region in Kyunggi Province. It both discusses the concept of social exclusion and its application for a theoretical framework and examines patterns and formation of the alienation process based on the field survey. The empirical results show that the alienation process which defines the border region as a geography of place poverty and exclusion has been deepened through economic, social, cultural and spatial processes. In terms of material well-being and social participation, especially, the alienation is shown to form in every aspect of people's lives in the border region. The alienation gives rise to the cultural stigmatization which first builds up negative images of the region and then aggravates region's development potential as well as its future prospect. In addition, the alienation in the context of the border region turns out to be unique compared to major characteristics of other backward regions as well as quite spatially differentiated across the border region in Kyunggi Province.

At present, environmental monitoring of linear infrastructure is based mainly on field sampling. The 'integrated mapping' approach has received only limited attention from field scientists. The increased environmental regulation of corridor targets has required remote sensing research to develop a sensor or technique for targets ranging from 15 m to 100 m in swath width. In an attempt to identify the optimal remote sensing system for linear targets, an overview is provided of the application requirements and the technology currently available. The relative limitation of traditional remote sensing systems in such a linear application is briefly discussed. It is noted that airborne video could provide, in a cost-effective manner, information required for a very narrow and long strip target utilising the narrow view angle and dynamic stereo coverage. The value of this paper is warranted in proposing a new concept of video infrastructure monitoring as a future research direction in the recognition of sensor characteristics and limitations.

일본 통산성 ㆍ자원에너지청은 금년초 1985년도 석유유통합리화조사 등의 일환으로서 「석유가스개발가능성조사보고서 」를 작성하였다. 유입LPG의 공급원다양화 방안의 하나로 추진되어 온 동조사는 1982년의 동남아시아를 시작으로, 1983년 중남미, 1984년 북미, 카나다지역을 대상으로 실시되었다. 1985년에는 대일본수출이 기대되고 있는 호주와 뉴질랜드를 대상으로 통산성으로부터 조사위탁을 받은 일본LPG협회가 「석유가스개발가능성조사단 」을 결성, 11월 11일부터 27일까지 현지조사를 실시했다. 이 자료는 일본 「석유정책 」지(86.8.5 및 15)에 실린 동보고서를 번역한 것이다. <편집자 주>
