Recognition Research on the Field Placement Activation Plan on Demand of Gwangyang Bay Area Industry (광양만권 산업체 맞춤 현장실습 활성화 방안 마련을 위한 인식 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out subjective perception types and needs of interested group on the Field Placement on Demand of Gwangyang Bay Area Industry by Q methodology, then to search for political measures to improve Field Placement in the implication of the sorted subjective perception types. The result of the study showed that there are three major sorts of subjectivities on the Field Placement Activation Plan on Demand of Gwangyang Bay Area Industry: emphasizes indusrty-college cooperation(Type1), emphasizes industry demand analysis(Type2), emphasizes field-centered education(Type3). And a new study showed that results can improve Field Placement on Demand of Gwangyang Bay Area Industry: positive industry-college partnership building, manpower training total support system building by manpower demand analysis and the situation of local industry, building the infrastructure for the training on demand of local industry on-the-job, trasition into field-centered education system by national competency standards(NCS).

Perceptions of Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers before Practicum on Teaching Practicum through Metaphor Analysis (은유 분석을 통해 본 실습 전 예비유아교사의 실습 전 학교현장실습에 대한 인식)

  • The aim of this research is to provide more proper teaching practicum chances through getting practical implications by pre-service early childhood teachers' perception of teaching practicum through investigating pre-service early childhood teacher's perception of teaching practicum using metaphors. Participants were 121 pre-service early childhood teachers'. They were early childhood education freshmen and sophomores who did not experience teaching practicum. The opened survey expressing metaphors about teaching practicum was conducted. The results showed that participants suggested 114 metaphors and those were coded and divided. The results were categorized into 11 types including 'It is hard but also fruitful.', 'It is a new experience.', 'It is hard and difficult.', 'It is meaningful and important.', 'I am afraid and worried.', 'I learn a lot.', 'I have to go though it.', 'I have to make an effort.', 'It is pleasant.', 'I am evaluated.' and 'others'. We expect that this research will give a chance to review what the teaching practicum means to pre-service early childhood teachers and make plans for pre-service early childhood teachers to prepare the teaching practicum with proper perception.

A Study on Satisfaction and Evaluation of Students현 Spot-Practice in Department of Food and Nutrition (식품영양학과 학생들의 현장실습 만족도 및 평가도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate satisfaction and evaluation degree of students' spot-practice in department of food and nutrition and to investigate relating factors to them for development of spot-practice Programme. The survey for analysis was conducted through the questionnaires to 229 students finished internship. Proportions of the students were 93.9% for senior, 93.9% for female. Proportions of spot-practice facilities were 38.9%, 46.7%, and 14.4% for school, business & industry, and hospital respectively. The major part of subjects (83.8%) took part in spot-practice during 2 weeks. The satisfaction scores to spot-practice were the lowest for pay, and the highest for a kind of spot-practice facilities. The evaluation scores were the lowest for 'I made a plan and prepared my work in advanced', and the highest for 'I did my best for doing my work'. The satisfaction score in hospital was significantly lower than those in school or business & industry. The satisfaction score in self-operated foodservice was significantly higher than that in contract managed one. However, there no significant differences in evaluation scores by foodsevice employment type. In the case of coincidence of area in spot-practice and residence, or facilities of spot-practice and job desired, the satisfaction and evaluation scores were significantly higher than those of others. The period of spot-practice was significantly positively correlated with satisfaction scores for atmosphere of spot-practice facilities, service and treatment for spot-practice student, while negatively correlated with evaluation score for 'I did my best for doing my work'. The spot-practice pay was significantly positively correlated with satisfaction and evaluation scores for various items. In conclusion, various factors are related to satisfaction and evaluation degree of spot-practice students, and consist concern and support from college St university, foodservice institution, and government for systematic spot-Practice are required.

  • 첨단이론과 현장실무능력을 겸비한 새로운 실천적 공학기술교육의 중심대학으로 특성화된 한국기술교육대학교(이하 한기대)의 학생 현장실습교육에 관하여 기술하였다. 한기대 재학생이 재학기간 중에 일정기간 동안 산업체에서 현장 실습교육을 필수 교과목으로 이수하도록 하여 산업발전에 부응하는 실천 기술을 습득할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 산업현장을 체험하게 함으로써 산업체가 요구하는 창조적 직무수행능력을 갖춘 우수한 실천 공학자를 양성하고자 한다. 이에 한기대에서 현재 실시하고 있는 학생 현장실습교육의 운영방안에 대하여 고찰하고 앞으로의 개선방안을 논의한다

A Study on On-The-Job Training Effects Based on the Perceptions of Employees from the Specialized High School (특성화 고교 출신 취업자의 인식에 기초한 현장 실습 효과 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data necessary to improve the planning and operations for an effective on-the-job training (OJT) by analyzing educational effects and deciding on a career for employment (DCE) effects of OJT based on the perceptions of employees from the specialized high school (SHS). The survey was performed with 301 employees who are working in the industrial institutions including the OJT, among the nation's specialized technical high school graduates. 240 questionnaires were analyzed. The major results of this study are as following. First, the effects of OJT are as following. The OJT have educational effects such as the improvement of job ability and adaptability to workplace, refinement of working life, and career guidance. However, the OJT almost don't have educational effects for contents in relation to the majors in SHS. The OJT had basic DCE effects on graduates, and consistently have had them since they graduated from SHS. Second, the difference of OJT effects by employees' background variables is as following. By the gender, the OJT have more educational effects and DCE effects on male than female. By the types of career decision before taking part in the OJT, the OJT has more educational effects and DCE effects on employees with a high degree of career decision. By the working life satisfaction, the higher working life satisfaction, the higher OJT effects. Therefore, the OJT should be operated to make students feel satisfied with the OJT in order to correspond with the purpose of specialized high school - cultivating talent in specific areas.

  • 2021년 하계방학 동안 농어촌연구원 국제융합수리시험센터에서 현장실습을 하며 경험했던 것, 배운 점, 느낀 점을 후기로 작성하였다. 이번 현장실습동안 진행한 활동들은 크게 수리실험 교육 및 장비조작 실습, 세미나발표 참관, 문헌조사, 안전교육 4가지로 구분된다. 현장실습을 하면서 느낀 점은 수리실험은 다양한 분야에서 활용된다는 것이었다. 수리실험을 통해 산사태를 예측하여 방재계획을 수립하고, 어도를 구축하여 생태계 보호에 기여할 수 있으며, 파력발전을 통해 에너지를 생산할 수 있다는 것을 알게 되었다. 이 때 다양한 환경문제가 발생할 수도 있는 데 향후 환경 계통에 취업을 했을 시 본 현장실습을 통해 얻은 경험이 매우 유용하게 활용 될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

농어촌연구원 국제융합수리시험센터 현장실습 교육프로그램(HIGH Center ACE+) 체험후기

  • 2023년 1학기(2023년 3월 2일~2023년 6월 20일) 동안 한국농어촌공사 농어촌연구원 국제융합수리시험센터(안산)에서 현장실습을 한것을 바탕으로 후기를 작성하였다. 현재 농어촌연구원은 농어촌 지역개발, 수자원의 효율적 이용과 관리, 농업 신기술 교육, 스마트팜 기술 보급, 친환경 농업, 남북협력 사업 등 농어업인의 환경 개선과 올바른 정책 방향성을 제시하기 위하여 다양한 분야의 연구를 수행하는 공공기관이다. 이번 현장실습을 경험한 국제융합수리시험센터는 1959년에 국내 최초로 수리모형실험을 시작하였으며, 2018년 대형 실험시설이 추가 증축되어 규모나 시설(장비) 측면에서 국내는 물론 세계 최상위 수준의 인프라를 보유하고 있다. 또한 댐, 하천, 해양, 신재생에너지 등과 관련하여 다수의 실험 실적 보유하고 있어 수 공학 분야의 국가경쟁력 강화에 견인하고 있다. 이번 현장실습은 수리실험 이론 교육, 실험장비 교육, 실험실습, 안전교육으로 구성되어 있다. 교육프로그램(HIGH Center ACE+)에 따른 학교에서 배운 전공 이론을 수리실험 분야에 어떻게 적용할 수 있는지 직접 실습하면서 배울 수 있었다. 4개월간 현장실습 교육프로그램에 참여하면서 수리실험 등 수공학 분야의 다양한 경험을 할 수 있었고, 이는 향후 전공과 관련된 직장을 준비하는 데 많은 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.

Comparing Levels of College Student's Communication Ability, Interpersonal Relationship Ability, and Convergence Competency according to Their Field Experiences (대학생의 현장실습교육 경험에 따른 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력 및 융합역량 비교)

  • Recently, colleges and universities provide programs of field experience for students to improve career development skills. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of participating field experience on communication ability, interpersonal relationship ability, and convergence competence. Data were collected from 1,887 college students, and were analyzed using one-way ANOVA. As a result, students who participated field experience program improved their communication ability, interpersonal relationship ability, and convergence competence. This study is expected to be utilized as basic references to promote field experience program in colleges and universities.

Comparison of Factors Influencing Satisfaction of the Field Practice Program in Library and Information Science between College and University Students (문헌정보학 전공 학생의 현장실습만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 학제별 비교 연구)

  • This study was performed to analyze the factors influencing satisfaction of the field practice program in Library and Information Science majors by college and university students and to investigate its effect relationship. So, we are trying to present the appropriate methods of improving the field practice program in Library and Information Science majors. We surveyed 90 college students and 80 university students of Library and Information Science across the country who participated in the field practice program in libraries and information service providers. As a result, the satisfaction level of professional leader were the highest and the satisfaction level of practice preparations were the lowest in the college and university students all. The results of multiple regression analysis between the satisfaction level and the related variables of college and university students indicated that 'major satisfaction' factors, 'interpersonal relationship' factors are the significant factors in the college students and 'major satisfaction' factors, 'private practice experience' factors are the significant factors that contribute the satisfaction level in the university students. Therefore, the intervention programs on the basis of the influencing factors such as major satisfaction, interpersonal relationship and private practice experience should be developed of improve satisfaction of the field practice in Library and Information Science students.

  • This study tried to diagnose the status of overseas field training and overseas employment through questionnaire surveys, FGI, and success case analysis, and to find implications for the educational direction that universities should take for the efficient operation of overseas employment programs. Specifically, surveys and interviews were conducted for participating students to diagnose the problems of current field training and overseas employment programs, and systematize the derived requirements to extract desirable field training and overseas employment program operation guidelines, and students The purpose of this study was to derive improvement plans and policy proposals by analyzing the causes that affect the satisfaction of employees' on-the-job training and overseas employment.
