Field Test Analysis of Electronic Toll Collection System, Hi-Pass (자동요금징수 시스템(ETCS)의 통신방식별 성능평가 결과 분석)

  • This study introduces the process of the field test of ETCS that has been performed by six enterprises for selecting the type of ETCS that will be applied to the internal tall roads. The main communication modes of six enterprises are active RF(radio wave)type and IR(optical wave)type. In this study, communication modes and systems, which are being used by each enterprises, have been compared and analyzed. Besides this, the configuration and the basic performances of the system have been checked. After those, the contents of the field performance test classified by the items of the test and the results of the test, finally, have been analyzed. Through analyzing the test, it is found that an enterprise using IR type and two enterprises using RF type satisfied the standards of the test and the others failed to meet the standards. However, the enterprises seem to be becoming stable by a large number of tests and the effort for improving from general point of view. Although the methods of performance evaluation in this field test considered enough patterns that are used in the present highway or Hi-Pass, there might possibly be some problems in the results because Korea Highway Corporation had decided the method and the number of times of the test according to their own standards about the various situations that can happen. Therefore, it will be needed to develop the method of standards for testing the performance which can be correspond with driver's behavior that can actually happen on the highway or the methods of transportation management.

  • 최근 생산 현장에 최종 제품의 성능 보장을 위해 사용될 소재의 특성을 검사하는 장비가 도입.운영되고 있다. 이들 장치 중 Rheotruder는 폴리머 소재의 품질 평가기준이 되는 점도를 측정하기 위해 제작되었으며 이는 지연시간 및 비선형적 특성을 갖게 되어 시스템의 분석이 용이하지 않다는 문제점을 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 비선형 특성을 갖는 측정 장치의 성능 평가를 용이하게 하기 위해 동적 시스템 모델링이 가능한 TDNN(Time Delay Neural Network)을 도입하여 실제 Rheotruder에 적용하여 봄으로써 그 유용성을 확인하고자 한다.

  • In this Study, FR-ECC(Fire Resistance Engineered Cementitious Composites) in which at same time it can improve the endurance and fire-resistance efficiency of a Structure was developed, and the experimental study such as thermal characteristic, Fire-resistance efficiency, and etc was performed for using FR-ECC as the repair materials for building and civil Structure. Moreover, it was evaluated about the field applicability of FR-ECC. As a result, FR-ECC is superior to the existence fire resistance repair mortar in strength and durability property. Also, FR-ECC was exposed to have the characteristic of being excellent than existence fire resistance mortar in the field applicability.

  • 현재까지 많은 공조용 빙축열 시스템이 전력수요 평준화를 목적으로 개발되어 설비에 적용되어 왔다. 지금까지 각종 학회에서 발표된 내용들은 기업에서 개발된 빙축열 시스템의 제빙 방식의 특징이나 시운전 결과가 중심이고, 빙축열 시스템의 평가, 특히 실제 설비의 운전 데이터에 기초한 시스템 성능 평가에 대한 내용은 많지 않았다. 이번에 소개하고자 하는 기술은 현장 제조형의 과냉각 방식 빙축열시스템의 실제 설비를 대상으로 제빙조의 제빙성능과 해빙성능에 관하여 모델해석를 기초로 평가하고, 제빙효율, 소비전력, 운전비용과 관련하여 설명함으로서 열원시스템을 평가하고자 한다.

  • 스티로폼샌드위치패널은 건식공법의 시공편리성, 경제적인 공사비용, 뛰어난 단열성능으로 공장이나 창고건축물을 중심으로 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 스티로폼의 여러 가지 장점에도 불구하고 화재에 취약한 단점이 있어 최근 난연성능이 보완된 난연스티로폼패널의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 최근 건축현장에서, 가짜 난연스티로폼패널 사용이 문제되고 있으나 난연성능의 현장 확인에 어려움이 있고 콘칼로리미터 등의 난연성능평가에 시간과 비용이 소요된다. 본 연구에서는 콘칼로리미터를 통해 난연성능이 확보된 난연 스티로폼패널의 심재와 일반스티로폼패널 심재를 대상으로 근-적외선 분광분석을 수행하여 난연성능의 유무에 따라 상이하게 나타나는 고유스펙트럼 흡수를 측정하였다. 각 제품마다 측정된 고유스펙트럼은 통계처리를 통하여 난연스티로폼의 진위여부를 현장에서 구별할 수 있음을 확인하였으며, 비용효율이 높은 현장평가방법으로의 적용이 가능함을 실험을 통해 입증하였다.

Site Assessment for the Water Purification Effect of Porous Concrete by using Effective Micro-organisms (유용미생물을 이용한 포러스콘크리트의 수질정화특성에 대한 현장평가)

  • In recent years, a rapid growth in the population and urbanization led to an increasing industrial growth. The inadequate treated-wasted water from industry and various non-point sources causes significant negative effects on the stream water. For past few decades, extensive researches have been performed on water purification process. The purpose of this study is to investigate mechanical performance and water purification properties of porous concrete by using effective microorganisms through the site assessment test. The mechanical performance evaluation results showed that the increase void ration caused an decrease in the strength. The optimal mix rate was found to be 15% void rate From the site assessment, it was evaluated that the porous concrete improved the quality of the water and the purification ratios are 34.1 for SS, 14.6% for BOD, 34.9% for COD, 11.4% for T-N, and 12.6% for T-P. The porous concrete and the related purification technique can reduce the non-point pollution sources flowing into the river.

  • Due to the importance of vehicle detector which plays an essential role in generating real-life traffic information, maintaining detector data quality is preeminent in advanced traffic management and information systems (ATMIS). To this end, agencies periodically conduct performance tests on detectors. Detector evaluation is generally performed by comparing baseline data with corresponding detector data. Here, two important things need to be addressed; one is errors (or uncertainties) included in baseline data and the other is the confidence interval concept to represent evaluation results of sample data to corresponding ones of population. To resolve these problems, a new detector evaluation scheme is introduced and the scheme is applied to individual level detector evaluations of loop, video image, and radar detectors. The purpose of individual level evaluation is to eliminate the balancing (or cancelling-out) effects of over- and under-counts. As a consequence, the proposed scheme is proven to be effectively applied to real-world detector evaluations.

  • This study is the empirical research about application and evaluation of AVI that is an essential technology for calculating and providing the travel time. Travel time calculation and provision is one of the technique for information collecting and providing in the ITS. Through the field test on a national highway, we proposed the travel time calculation technique from the data by non-contact vehicle detecting method and validated field application performance with field data. We proposed the technique of evaluating field application performance, then using this, analyzed recognition rate, detection rate and travel time with field data.

  • In this study, seven companies(A~G) designated as new construction technology selected and evaluated KS F 2622: Method of test for performance evaluation of membrane roofing systems that are similar to field application conditions. As a result of the test, it was confirmed that although all test specimens exceeded KS standards in the basic physical, it was difficult to obtain field quality performance in weak areas such as joints and vertical parts of the adhesive coating method in water-tightness, sagging resistance, swelling resistance tests except for fatigue(crack behavior) tests.

Evaluation of Heat Exchange Efficiency and Applicability for Parallel U-type Cast-in-place Energy Pile (병렬 U형 현장타설 에너지파일의 열교환 효율 및 적용성 평가)

  • An energy pile is one of the novel ground heat exchangers (GHEX's) that is a economical alternative to the conventional closed-loop vertical GHEX. The combined system of both a structural foundation and a GHEX contains a heat exchange pipe inside the pile foundation and allows a working fluid circulating through the pipe, inducing heat exchange with the ground formation. In this paper, a group of energy piles equipped with parallel U-type (5, 8 and 10 pairs) heat exchange pipes was constructed in a test-bed by fabricating in large-diameter cast-in-place concrete piles. In addition, a closed-loop vertical GHEX with 30m depth was constructed nearby to conduct in-situ thermal response tests (TRTs) and to compare with the thermal performance of the cast-in-place energy piles. A series of thermal performance tests was carried out with application of an artificial cooling and heating load to evaluate the heat exchange rate of energy piles. The applicability of cast-in-place energy piles was evaluated by comparing the relative heat exchange efficiency and heat exchange rate with preceding studies. Finally, it is concluded that the cast-in-place energy piles constructed in the test-bed demonstrate effective and stable thermal performance compared with the other types of GHEX.
