This paper explains what Japanese progressive liberalism was in postwar Japan by clarifying Maruyama Masao's "Cold War Liberalism," focusing especially on his realism and nationalism searching for "democracy" and "peace" in the context of the early Cold War Japan. Maruyama's Cold War liberalism can be grasped from two perspectives: how the Cold War defined his liberalism and how Maruyama interpreted the Cold War as a liberalist in postwar Japan. The liberal interpretation of the Cold War captures the spatial manifestations of liberalism in the Cold War while Cold War liberalism was to grasp the temporal succession of modern Japan. Maruyama revealed his liberal thinking by combining it to his idea of nationalism and realism. He was concerned about the reshaping of the fascist atmosphere provoked by anti-communism emerging from 186 | 동북아역사논총 59호the Cold War confrontation structure. He sought "neutrality" and "peace" to overcome the so-called "two worlds" of the Cold War. And he stressed the importance of "fair judgment" and "autonomous association" to restrain the fascistic atmosphere in postwar Japan. For Maruyama, subjectivity aimed at the concept of "nation" rather than "citizen," and nationalism was a condition for "democracy" and "peace" in postwar Japan. Maruyama's critical liberalism worked through nationalism and realism.

This study examines the drama "Still in Marronnier Park"(2005) to examine the strategies by which the drama communicates Korean society and literature of the 1960s to the public. The drama focuses on three characters to characterize the historical upheavals of the 1960s and the literary response. In particular, the drama tackles the historical events of the time head-on by introducing characters who are real-life politicians. Therefore, the drama explains historical events through narrators, interviews, and video footage, and at the same time, it helps us understand how political and social events affected the inner lives of Koreans. Through the narratives of Kim Ji-ha and Kim Seung-ok, the drama also conveys how Korean literature responded to unjust realities in the political and social context of the 1960s. Kim Ji-ha's rebellion against those in power and Kim Seung-ok's depiction of her inner landscape are used to portray the response of literature to political reality. Although the drama has the limitation of being somewhat typical, it raises meaningful questions about the meaning of literature in the political and social context of the 1960s and how the memory of the 1960s has left a trace in the minds of Koreans.

We need to recognize the overall changes in Korean society with understanding the situation of the characteristic and actual living condition of the elderly, so to prepare efficient and active policies at the moment from aging society to aged society. Based on the 2008 national survey data of the actual living condition of the elderly and welfare need, the living condition of the elderly for household and individual information is identified and the effects on the life satisfaction of these variables are statistically analyzed. Therefore, this paper might help to establish the aged social policies with realistic validity and suitability and extend the academical understanding of Korean society.

가뭄은 국민생활, 경제 등에 막대한 손실을 초래하며, 지역사회 공동체나 사회기능에 심각한 영향을 끼칠 수 있는 재해이다. 가뭄피해 최소화를 위해서는 단기대응, 복구지원 등의 사후대책에서 사전대비 및 예방으로의 정책 전환이 필요하며, 이러한 정책 수립을 뒷받침하기 위해서는 가뭄에 따른 정량적인 피해영향 평가가 우선적으로 필요한 실정이다. 가뭄은 그 지속기간이나 피해양상 및 영향범위 등에 있어 일반 자연재해와는 다른 특성을 지니고 있다. 우선 그 시점과 종점이 모호하고 다른 재해에 비해 장기간에 걸쳐 피해가 누적되며, 가뭄이 해갈된 후에도 장기간 파급효과가 나타날 수 있다. 또한 가뭄이 장기화 될수록 대형복합재난의 형태로 사회전반에 영향을 주기때문에, 영향범위를 설정하고 피해규모를 추정하는 것조차 쉽지 않은 것이 현실이다. 특히 가뭄으로 인한 제한급수, 단수 등의 상황에서 생 공용수의 부족으로 인한 국민생활과 산업의 피해규모 추정과 관련해서는 그 필요성에 비해 연구되거나 적용된 사례가 극히 드물다. 본 연구에서는 국가 가뭄정보분석센터에서 운영 중인 가뭄정보시스템을 통한 가뭄영향평가 정보 생성 및 제공을 위해, 가뭄 영향평가에 대한 국내 외 사례를 조사하고, 생 공용수에 대한 가뭄 피해액 추정 기법을 국민안전처, 국토연구원 등에서 수행된 연구사례와 일본의 갈수에 의한 감 단수피해액 추정기법을 중심으로 검토하였으며, 가뭄정보시스템 구축자료와의 연계 활용 방안에 대해 고찰하였다.

한국 특산 식물인 미선나무 (Abeliophyllum distichum)는 IUCN Red List의 EN (위기종) 등급에 지정되 어 보호받아 왔다. 미선나무는 국내 자생지 6곳을 포함하는 13개의 서식지에서 생육되고 있다고 알려져 있다. 2017년 이후, 국내에서는 지속적인 보전과 관리하에 법정보호종에서 해제되어 멸종위기종 복원 성 공 사례의 귀감이 되었으나 국내를 제외하면 미선나무의 활용은 아직 어려운 현실이다. 미선나무는 1속 1종이지만 종 내에서 다양성이 존재한다. 꽃의 형태적 특징에 따른 다양한 분류가 이루어지며, 옥황1호을 포함한 분홍, 상아, 연녹색, 흰색 등으로 구분된다. 유전체 연구 및 성분 분석을 통해, 각 표현형마다 유전 정보와 유효 성분의 차이가 존재한다는 것이 알려졌다. 활용 가치를 높이려면, 유전적으로 안정되고 표준화가 가능한 원료가 필요하며, 이는 신품종을 이용하거나 새로운 개발이 필요하다는 것을 내포한다. 일반 식품으로의 활용은 어려우나 기능성 화장품의 원료 등으로 활용되고 있으며, 이러한 활용들은 미선나무의 높은 활용 가치를 투영한다. 활용 가치 평가를 위해 수행된 DNA 손상, 멜라닌 생합성, 항염증, 항산화, 항암 억제 등의 연구를 통해 다양한 약리학적 효능을 가진다는 결과들이 도출되었고, 많은 문헌들이 그 근거를 뒷받침한다. 또한, 유효 성분의 합성경로를 재정립하고 RNA 분석을 통해 그 양상을 예측하기 위한 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 미선나무에서 유래한 식물조직 배양체인 callus의 유도 및 배양이 진행되고 있으며, 옥황1호 유래 callus를 활용하여 다양한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 앞서 언급한 미선나무 연구 및 개발에 대한 한계를 파악하고, 천연 식물 자원으로의 미선나무에 대한 지속적인 관심과 지원을 통해 나고야의정서에 대응하는 전략적 접근이 필요하다.

The collective narratives on global crisis such as the displaced, uneven distribution of resources, invasion of human rights is more than a recurring theme or polemics in the fields of contemporary arts. In the latest projects from Olafur Eliasson, Rirkrit Tiravanija and Ai WeiWei, art works are presented as performative 'platforms' for tackling these undiscriminating reality of human conditions. Here, 'the users' as driving forces of possible change, are postulated as prospective actors/players who lead and collaborate to defy the status-quo. Crossing over the on/off lines, the everyday-activities of exchanging, sharing and networking are strategically deployed and its meaning reconfigured within the context of post/production discourse. This historical, yet unsettling juncture between art and life, dystopian reality and utopian idealism has its formal-conceptual links to Russian Constructivism, Brechtian Learning-Play and Joseph Beuys' Social Sculpture. Based on Nicolas Bourriaud's notion of Postproduction, this paper aims to provide a diachronic analysis on collaborative dispositions of participatory arts practices.

This study examines the characteristics of Korean journalism ethics as job ideology by analyzing the specific conditions revealed in the historical process of the construction of Korean journalism ethics, focusing on the change of social relationships which intervene in the construction of journalism ethics. By this interpretation, this study proposes the desirable directions in journalism ethics discussion and practice strategies in the journalism field. Therefore this study analyzed the historical process and the development phase of discourse in journalism ethics in which the job position of Korean journalists have changed. In result, this study found that the discourse of Korean was used for the instrumental and rhetorical means to cope with the outside pressure in the lack of occupational self-control which becomes the premise of ethics. Because of this, the Korean journalism ethics characterize the rhetorical feature of ethical code, the structured separation of practice from cognition, the conceptual confusion of responsibility from ethics.

3 차원 그래픽스에 적용하는 한국어 립씽크 합성 체계를 연구하여, 말소리에 대응하는 자연스러운 립씽크를 자동적으로 생성하도록 하는 디자인 시스템을 연구 개발하였다. 페이셜애니메이션은 크게 나누어 감정 표현, 즉 표정의 애니메이션과 대화 시 입술 모양의 변화를 중심으로 하는 대화 애니메이션 부분으로 구분할 수 있다. 표정 애니메이션의 경우 약간의 문화적 차이를 제외한다면 거의 세계 공통의 보편적인 요소들로 이루어지는 반면 대화 애니메이션의 경우는 언어에 따른 차이를 고려해야 한다. 이와 같은 문제로 인해 영어권 및 일본어 권에서 제안되는 음성에 따른 립싱크 합성방법을 한국어에 그대로 적용하면 청각 정보와 시각 정보의 부조화로 인해 지각의 왜곡을 일으킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 표기된 텍스트를 한국어 발음열로 변환, HMM 알고리듬을 이용한 입력 음성의 시분할, 한국어 음소에 따른 얼굴특징점의 3 차원 움직임을 정의하는 과정을 거쳐 텍스트와 음성를 통해 3 차원 대화 애니메이션을 생성하는 한국어 립싱크합성 시스템을 개발 실제 캐릭터 디자인과정에 적용하도록 하였다. 또한 본 연구는 즉시 적용이 가능한 3 차원 캐릭터 애니메이션뿐만 아니라 아바타를 활용한 동적 인터페이스의 요소기술로서 사용될 수 있는 선행연구이기도 하다. 즉 3 차원 그래픽스 기술을 활용하는 영상디자인 분야와 HCI 에 적용할 수 있는 양면적 특성을 지니고 있다. 휴먼 커뮤니케이션은 언어적 대화 커뮤니케이션과 시각적 표정 커뮤니케이션으로 이루어진다. 즉 페이셜애니메이션의 적용은 보다 인간적인 휴먼 커뮤니케이션의 양상을 지니고 있다. 결국 인간적인 상호작용성이 강조되고, 보다 편한 인간적 대화 방식의 휴먼 인터페이스로 그 미래적 양상이 변화할 것으로 예측되는 아바타를 활용한 인터페이스 디자인과 가상현실 분야에 보다 폭넓게 활용될 수 있다.

3D RMR (Rock Mass Rating) analysis has been performed by applying the Geostatistical integration technique for geophysical and borehole data. Of the various geostatistical techniques for the integrated data analysis, in this study, we applied the SKlvm (Simple Kriging with local varying means) method that substitutes the values of the interpreted geophysical result with the mean values of the RMR at the location to be inferred. The substitution is performed by the indicator transform between the result of geophysical interpretation and the observed RMR values at borehole sites. The used geophysical data are the electrical resistivity and MT result, and 10 borehole sites are investigated to obtain the RMR values. This integrated analysis makes the interpretation to be more practical for identifying the realistic RMR distribution that supports the regional geological situation.

This story is written by Shin Kwang-han who is a famous scholar and writer in Josun Dynasty. The most notable feature of this story is the love between a man and a dead woman. The protagonist has failed the test to be a national official for several years, because of the corruption and unfairness of the leaders of his society. He is very upset, but then changes his mind in order to become an officer. One day he meets a dead woman. He saves her life from death, and falls in love with her. Finally he marries her and attains a high position. Till now, all the aspects of this story have been extensively researched from a number of different perspectives. However the narrative structure of this story has not been discussed much. This story belongs to Jungi-novel, a kind of old story style which includes fantasy. The studies on this story have mostly been carried out to find the different features in comparison with other works of the same style. Further, we could not understand its own specific meaning structure. This study aims to find the narrative structure of this story. It was recognized by researchers that Shin's stories talk about his life and his perspective of the world. Further, I will try to show how he expresses his thoughts, emotion and life through this story. First, to obtain a satisfactory result through this study, I will find a way to resolve several problems that have become the center of the controversy. Afterward, the conflict and resolution the hero's relation to the world will be identified in every paragraph. Through these efforts, we will have a new point of the view about the narrative structure of this story and the intent expressed by the writer through its structure.
