'Fantasy' in this study is Not something fantastic in the used to be-way we can Imagine easily. This study is to figure out 'fantasy' and 'the fantastic' as a significant measure to interpret the contemporary space-time. In particular, it analyzed that fantasy have influenced on some kind of specific trend what is expressed a tendency to contemporary interior designs of informal, indeterminacy and unpredictability. Fantasy is represented as 'the fantastic space' through spatial revealing, concealing, distorting, and connoting. Representation becomes a major issue in almost many kinds of knowledge-system that start from the mind to go out to the world in a realistic or idealistic way. Therefore, the fantastic space reconstructs the reality while making itself through to representational creation-process. It is Important for fantasy and the fantastic space to help detect behind beneath the reality more than what we know.

These days we are more interested in the space of architecture that how the change is likely to affect and how to be realized human. Human beings are recognizable the space and the creation of the space is eventually effected through human beings being perceptible the space of architecture and the equivalence of the space. That is the light, one of phenomenological elements, has been the first visual experience at birth. This study will concentrate on the importance of the phenomenological light especially indoors and study how architectural elements influence human beings with the light as one of the basic design factors for human life. That is exactly purpose of this research paper and this paper can make our lives worth living significant with the actively various uses inside spaces through the phenomenological light as a natural light in our human beings.

One of the characteristics of contemporary interior design is the prominence of material and its challenge to the established concept of interior design. As material has risen to the new element of design, losing its old concept as something secondary surrounding space, it had become an useful instrument to create unique images as well as to express the paradigm of space that modern society demands. The active role of material has made itself one of the primary elements that make a difference in design. Particularly in commercial spaces where sales are important and attractive spaces are needed, material has been emergent conveying its appling to consumers. Therefore, this study analyses the materiality that material has and its characteristics represented as images in commercial spaces. With the analysis, it researches further into the unlimited possibility of material and show the way for modern interior design to head for.

Finishing materials and colors which were expressed in the space is an important factor to decide the imagination of the space. Therefore if we analyze and spotlight the space with that factors again, we will readily know the characteristics that are expressed in our living space. A purpose of this study is how the traditionality like national thoughts, customs and behavior patterns is changed, arranged and expressed in the korean housing space in the 21c on the finishing materials and colors. Though this study we can know that the traditionality which are expressed in modern housing spaces shows with accommodating to characteristic that is expressed in traditional housing spaces.

In Contemporary architecture we could find rough and stiff feeling expression as a special phenomena. This style is combined regionalism to the modern spirit that we could imagine such a phenomena of the modern design toward vernacular culture. it's conception is conformed to the regionalist architecture in that period and the 3rd world experiences, From 1930s resident house Le corbusier introduced vernacular phenomena that considered productional condition of the region and regional environment This tendancy attempted by few young architects. they built building in vernacular phenomena based on the 3rd world experiences and Le Corbusier's architecture. After Le Corbusier's unite d'hbitation in Marseille Ando finishing with diversified material. but Le Corbusier's intention concerned not only to finishing of material but also to practical and human building as he had experienced in vernacular architecture.

It can be characterized that contemporary architects intend to establish architectonics which can make it possible to reinterpret the attribute of movement in space and its programming differed from the traditional perception in moving in and out any space through disjoining and reorganizing human behavior and event. This intends reflect new paradigm for subjugating the compelled fuctioning of modern Architecture. This Study review those intends focused on programming as a pre-disign schema. In those intends, it connotes the effort of establishing more systemic and logical approach through deconstruction and disprogramming the existing from, space, elements and human on the basis of his own schematic conception as substitution of function in modern architecture.

This thesis has purpose of explaining that light is not only appreciated but also physically percepted in contemporary space design and examining effects of space experience through the physical perception. In keeping with such developments, light has been perceived as the object of another architectural tool in modern space design and has provided men with new experience by providing space image and function different from previous ones. With the expansion of the area of light, light has changed a space that is not a simple architectural factor into the essential concept that gives the architectural space image ! by combining it with architectural space, structure, form and materials throughout the whole process from the beginning to the completion. Through phenomenological approach, light is percepted and experienced by body movement, intervention of senses and memories, and passing of time. The percepted and experienced light brings increase of mutual understanding in space, activation and continuance of user's sensation, recreational experience by event occurrence and space experience effect thorough information from media.

Today, in space design boundaries between spaces have become obscure and space images are changed and overlap each other. Moreover, with the digital technology creating more informational spaces with various interactions, the set up of intelligent space has been made possible in reality. As if to deny the law of physical limitation, interfaces are used as main concept in structuring and expressing the spaces. It appears once again when each section is an expressional factor of interfaces and when meanings are produced through the systemization. Here this study analyzes the hybrid action that appear in contemporary space design. At the very moment, interface emerged as an important concept, defining contemporary space design in a very different way and present interface as a new possibility in space.

Office interior design is based on the understanding of diversity information about working program, organization and networking system of the company. To build a good working environment, flexibility of space and communication between employees and employer in the office are very important. Due to the business growth, the "N" company requires more working space and this project is basically initiated to relocate in new working environment. This work pursues the clients can enhance more creativity and productivity in their working area. In order to promote the efficiency and comfort of the working environment, diverse employee's working characteristic, individual and collective requirements have been observed. The basic concept of the design can be summarized in the following : youth, simplicity, modern and nature.

According to the passage of an age, a method which communicates each other between the city and space, and space and a human has changed. Recently, as the city is developing related with the public, the sphere and a territory of activity of a public has been wider in an environment of the city. Therefore, development of night scenery and the rise of a medium of a vision are accompanied with a new material and the high-technology. Innovation of abundant techniques tends to being surface and mass media, and breaks from the architectural aspect of space as mutual expansion of relations between interior and exterior, and making a boundary obscurely. Space design represents peculiarity of non-territorial which modern art, an advertisement, a media and a reflection are integrated as getting over above tendency. As we find out methods which the public can communicate with the space in wider territory, the public and the space can extend mutual relations and the design of modern space is been varying a part as the space which has a context of city and synthetic sociality for the public by avoiding independent objects.
