A convention is a customary channel that not only distinguishes the contemporary urban fantasy contents from other genres but also feels familiar with users for its currency. To begin with, the study defines the fantasy investigating the types of the fantasies, the time and the space which are regarded as the world of the fantasy, the fantasy storytelling and the convention, the custom of the fantasy. Next, the meaning and the convention of the contemporary urban fantasy contents are discussed. Ultimately, through the contemporary urban fantasy contents analysis, the study traces changes in the fantasy genres understanding how the convention destruction of the fantasy genre generates the convention in contemporary urban fantasy contents. Finally, the study proposes the directions of the convention in contemporary urban fantasy contents production which would provide us with a new experience and a dimension of fun.

There have been a lot of efforts to adapt climate change around the world, and Korea is no exception. The low carbon green cities for overseas have had many different forms through their own special models and strategies. Korea needs a model and strategy of Korean low carbon green city, which is suitable for Korea climate and topography. This study pays attention to the Pungsu, which is Korean traditional thinking system for space, and examines the way for selecting locations and space planning to create the Korean low carbon green city through the contemporary interpretation of the Pungsu. For this purpose, first of all, this study makes efforts for the contemporary interpretation of the past Pungsu theory from the modern city's perspective, through understanding the difference between the Korea's historic villages(cities) and the modern cities. Based on the contemporary interpretation of the Pungsu theory, this study finds ways of application the system on selecting locations and space planning in the Pungsu theory to create the Korean low carbon green city.

제 2차 세계대전이 끝난 후 전 세계의 인구는 경제발전과 함께 폭발적으로 증가하였고, 인류는 "식량증산"이라는 새로운 현실에 부딪히게 되었다. 그리고 1960년대 이후 현대농업에 있어서 화학기술의 발전으로 탄생한 현재의 농약은 획기적인 생산성 향상으로 식량의 자급자족과 소득증대를 가져오는데 일익을 담당한 필요불가결한 농자재가 되었다. 그러나 현재의 농약은 식량 생산증대에 큰 도움을 주었지만, 농작물에 잔류하는 농약의 잔류독성으로 인한 폐해로 인해 부정적인 측면도 함께 가지게 되었다. 잔류농약의 치명적 위협은 지금 전 세계를 혼란케 하는 발암물질인 다이옥신으로 인해 극명하게 밝혀진 바 있다. 내분비계 교란물질인 환경호르몬의 대표격인 다이옥신의 원인물질 67종 중 41종이 농약성분이기 때문이다.

생계유지와 레크리에이션을 위한 수렵에 있어 사슴의 중요성은 지속되고 있음에 덧붙여 사슴의 상업적 생산체계의 중요성이 새로이 부상하고 있음은 특히 흥미롭다. 포획사슴 사육의 기원은 고대로 거슬러 올라가지만 현대의 사슴사육은 단지 과거 20년 사이에 출현된 것이다. 현재 세계 사슴의 총두수는 약 200만두이며 매년 약 $20{\%}$ 의 복리율로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 세계 녹육 및 녹용 시장의 과히 높지않은 수요 공급도를 보면 이러한 성장은 둔화될 것이다. 사슴 총두수가 최종적으로 어느 시기에 가서 고정될 것인지 추정하기란 쉽지 않다. 수익 차익금이 감소됨에 따라 양록업자들은 보다 효율적인 사양관리체계를 모색하여야 할 것이다.

The Institute of Contemporary Art has gathered, arranged and exchanged historical data and a variety of information of art. It also aims at Helping revitalize artistic activities and develop diverse areas of art among regions. This scheme for revitalization of art includes holding seminars, international exhibitions or regional exchange exhibitions, publishing papers, and enhancing art education. This paper provides a view of what the Institute of Contemporary Art at Kunsan University has done so far, pursues better ways for revitalization of artistic activities, and suggests a future-oriented approach for making the institute a place for regional exchange of modem art and design.

신재생에너지 사업역량 강화! 현대중공업(회장 민계식)이 그동안 조선업종과 전기전자시스템 분야에서 축적한 경험과 기술을 토대로, 지속적인 성장이 예측되고 있는 풍력분야에 역량을 집중하고 있다. 글로벌 시장 진입을 향한 이 같은 도전은 지난해 3월 풍력업체 최초로 군산풍력발전기공장을 군산산업단지 내에 완공하면서 새로운 전기가 마련되었고, 해외진출을 본격화하기 위한 대량생산체제 구축, 기종 다변화 및 신규모델 개발 등 힘찬 비상의 담금질에 연일 가속도가 붙고 있다. 현대중공업은 오는 2012년까지 군산 공장을 800MW 규모까지 확장시켜 풍력시장 수요에 신속히 대응하는 한편, 세계 풍력발전기 시장의 중심축 역할을 견고히 소화해 내겠다는 포석을 이미 마쳤다. 미래에너지로 주목받고 있는 풍력 및 태양광발전에 꾸준히 투자해온 현대중공업이 그린비지니스 사업 분야 특히, 풍력발전에 집중하는 행보에 관심이 집중되고 있다.

정부의 중화학공업 육성시책에 힘입어 1976년과 1977년은 각 업체가 심각한 각축전을 벌린 해인 것같다. 1969년에 효성중공업이 154kV 급변압기 개발에 성공한 이래 수년간 독점해오던 초고압 변압기는 1976년 12원에 국제전기가, 1977년 1원에 쌍용전기가, 동년 7월에 대명제작소가 각각 시작품을 성공적으로 제작함으로써 독점시대의 막이 내려가고 치열한 경쟁체제로 돌입하게 됐다. 따라서 국내 수요보다 생산능력이 초과하게 되는 결과가 됐다. 효성중공업은 창원에 대단위 공장을 건설하고 최신시설과 대형 공작기계를 갖춤으로서 345kB 변압기 개발에 착수하였고 현대중공업, 현대양행이 중전기에 코오롱그룹이 국제전기의 경영에 각각 참가하였으며 이천전기는 일본 도시바전기와 합작하고 현대중공업과 현대양행이 참여함으로서 중전기기 분야는 전국시대를 맞는 감이며 치열한 경쟁을 앞으로 면치 못할 것같다.

통신기술과 뉴미디어의 발굴로 개인 생활이 편리해지고 지구 전체가 동일 정보영역으로 묶여 하나의 생활권을 형성하는 지구촌 시대가 열리고 있다. 국내에서도 제 1세대 무궁화위성 1.2호의 발사를 계기로 위성시대가 개막되었으며, 인공위성 개발 열기가 한층 고조되고 있다. 그러나 현재 세계적으로 사용하고 있는 위성궤도는 대부분 정지궤도이며, 정지궤도는 한정된 궤도 영역과 위성의 수요증가 때문에 이미 포화상태에 이르러 향후 개발의 한계에 이르게 되었다. 그리고 90년대 초반부터 미국을 중심으로 세계적 규모의 저궤도 위성통신이 제안되기 시작하여 현재 다수의 시스템이 개발되고 있다. 저궤도 위성산업은 이동통신의 세계화와 대중화 추세에 따라 특히 경량 통신위성 시스템을 중심으로 구 수요가 급증할 것으로 예상되고 있으며 이를 통해 통신서비스를 제공하는 국제적 저궤도 위성사업도 활발히 추진되고 있어 앞으로 상업성이 매우 높은 중점 육성대상분야로 평가되고 있다. 현대전자에서 저궤도 위성사업 글로벌스타에 사용될 인공위성을 2005년까지 26기를 제작하여 쏘아 올리겠다고 선언하면서부터 국내의 우주개발 경쟁은 한층 가열되고 있다. 현대전자 산업전자연구소장이자 위성사업단장이신 이명기 전무님으로부터 야심찬 위성사업의 마스터 플랜과 추진현황, 전망 등에 대하여 들어보았다. 사업의 전망을 힘주어 역설하시는 모습이 위성사업에 대한 열정과 도적적 각오를 엿볼 수 있었으며 성공사업으로의 확신을 읽게 하였다.
