Background: The Korean government has established Health Plan and reinforced tobacco control policies step by step according to Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). This study aims to investigate yearly smoking and secondhand smoking (SHS) exposure rates adjusted by demographic and socioeconomic factors. Methods: Multiple logistic regression analysis was conducted about the smoking experience, current smoking, and exposure to SHS at home, at work, and in public places using data from the 6th to 8th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2015-2020). Results: Comparing 2015 with other years, smoking experience rates significantly decreased from 2015 to 2018 in men and significantly increased from 2018 to 2020 in women. Compared to 2015, current smoking rates significantly decreased only in 2020 for men and significantly increased in 2018 and 2019 for women. The rate of exposure to SHS at home significantly decreased until 2018. Rates of exposure to SHS in the workplace and public places were significant all year. Conclusion: There were a slowly decreasing trend in men and an increasing trend in women at current smoking rates. It was found that there were significant decreasing trends at exposure to SHS. There is a need to set policies that reduce current smoking rates and especially to set a customized program to lower women's smoking rates.

The purpose of this study is to diagnose the changes, complexity and ill effects of the public library administrative system in Korea, to analyze its previous research and improvement issues, and to suggest reform plans and subsequent action. To do so, the author has proposed a unification model for the library administrative system, the library status in the local administrative organization, and the library management plan of the local government. And the author has suggested various subsequent actions for the unification of the library administrative system, that is, the transfer of property, relief of the financial burden, removal of the disadvantages caused by the status change, adjustment of the library director's position, improving the personnel system of librarianship, and amendments to the relevant laws and regulations.

Background: This study purposed to analyze the relationship between extinction risk regions and amenable mortality. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study based on the statistics of 2018 which was extracted from the 228 administrative districts in Korea. Cause of death statistics on each region in 2018 was used to produce the age-adjusted amenable mortality. Regional characteristics were measured by demographic factors, health behavior factors, socioeconomic factors, and medical resources factors. Multiple linear regression model was applied to test their relationship. Results: Results showed that extinction risk regions, crude divorce rates, national cancer screening rates, and independent rate of finance were significantly related to the amenable mortality. Conclusion: The study demonstrated differences in health status by the extinction risks of regions. This study suggests that the use of customized community care program can provide integrated services such as housing, health care or the use of information and communications technology which can make early diagnosis.

This study reviewed the US military government's record management system to fill the gaps in Korea's record management history. The US military government's record management system adopted the concept of "mixed use" between the Japanese Government-General of Korea and the US Army because of the dualized administration and constituency of human resources. In addition, the US Army's record management method was introduced during the US military administration to manage historical records and produce official documents that mix Chinese and English letters.

This research aims at drawing implications by positive and negative variables affecting burnout of young working adults. The authors derived social support and empathy from sorting out the positive variables, and job boredom and job stress from the negative variables. Many studies have shown that these selected variables are believed to influence considerably on burnout. This research is achieved by the method of hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that four positive and negative variables influence on burnout, and the negative variables(job stress, job boredom) have the greater effect than the positive variables(empathy, social support) do. Thus, there is an urgent need for care and concern for the social beginners.
