The purpose of this study was to develop a dental communication course in dental hygiene schools that included theory, practice, and skill for effective dental communication. Thirty-six senior dental hygiene students in a dental hygiene school took a dental communication course and responded to a questionnaire. The instrument used in the study was a modified form of Kim's communication skill self-assessment sheet. The self-assessment questionnaire about communication competencies was administered before and after the class, and the difference between scores at each time point was analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed rank sum test. Among seven elements of dental communication competencies, the competency of "information gathering" was significantly improved (p=0.008). Students' scores on perception of the importance (p=0.019) and necessity (0.016) of a communication course significantly increased after the course. Competencies in communication are essential requirement for dental hygienists. This study showed the possibility of communication skill training. An objective evaluation tool regarding students' communication competencies should be developed. Further studies with larger samples size are needed to develop a standardized comprehensive communication course in dental hygiene schools.

This is an action research study of mixed methodology design to confirm the implementation process and effects of applying visual thinking and window paning on improving nursing ethics and professional courses. Based on the conceptual model for action research, a quantitative and qualitative approach was taken. The data was collected and analyzed in an integrated manner. The survey analysis was done using the SPSS WIN 23.0 program. The participants were interviewed after experiencing the techniques in class and content analysis was used on the answers. As a result of applying visual thinking and window paning, ethical decision-making confidence (t=6.748, p<.001) and nursing professional intuition (t=-3.52, p<.001) showed statistically significant changes. There was, however, no significant change in biomedical ethics consciousness (t=1.291, p=.199). Qualitative analysis found that they had fresh experience, an unfamiliar but comfortable feeling, feeling of being mine, insufficient time, systematic case study approach based on theory, were able to cultivate cooperation and coordination ability through discussion and experience in various professional fields, pride, ethical responsibility consciousness and were able to apply learning content in the field. Visual thinking and window paning foster diverse competencies in nursing education and help integrative learning. Therefore, based on the results it is proposed that visual thinking and window paning are applied to the improvement of instruction in other courses to develop core nursing competency.

This study was conducted to test the effects of core note-based pre-learning on self-determination learning motivation, self-directed learning, and campus life adaptation for undergraduate nursing students. This study used a one group pre-post test design. The participants were 60 nursing students Universities located in C city. Data were collected on two separate occasions before and after the application of the program from August 2018 to November 2018. For data analysis, SPSS/WIN 23.0 program was utilized including pearson correlation coefficients & Paired t-test. This study showed a meaningful positive for self-determination(t=-.52, p<.001), self-directed learning(t=-.2.11, p=.039) and campus life adaptation(t=-2.90, p=.005). The findings suggest the necessity to develop core note-based pre-learning program of various major curriculum of nursing and various instructional strategies for vitalizing Pre-Learning Program.

The Q&A board is widely used as a means of communicating service enquiries, and the need for efficient management of the enquiry system has risen because certain questions are being repeatedly and frequently registered. This study aims to construct a student-centered FAQ, centered on the unstructured data posted on the university homepage's Q&A board. We extracted major keywords from 690 postings registered in the recent 3 years, and conducted the semantic network analysis to find the relationship between the keywords and the centrality analysis in order to carry out network visualization. The most central keywords found through the analysis, in order of centrality, were application, curriculum, credit point, completion, graduation, approval, period, major, portal, department. Also, the major keywords were classified into 8 groups of course, register, student life, scholarship, library, dormitory, IT and commute. If the most frequent questions are organized into these areas to form the FAQ, based on the results above, it is expected to contribute to user convenience and the efficiency of administration by simplifying the service enquiry process for repeated questions, as well as enabling smooth two-way communication among the members of the university.

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the liberal arts education of universities has been called for fundamental innovation in its content and methods. H university has continuously made efforts to improve its general education curriculum with the goal of satisfying students' needs as well as the demands of the times. Its efforts can be summarized as the harmonization of competency-based education and the traditional liberal arts education. In more detail, it has tried to meet the demands of Ministry of Education which requests each university to establish its general education system focusing on key competencies. Simultaneously, it also radically changed its education system based on the guidelines of the Korea National Institute for General Education(KONIGE). The starting point of those changes was the basic consulting by KONIGE in 2017. According to the consulting report, H university introduced comprehensive and overall revision of its liberal arts education curriculum, increasing its liberal arts credit requirements from 22 to 28 credits in 2019. It has also reorganized and reclassified its liberal arts courses by introducing distributive elective classes. In 2020, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, H university altered its curriculum once more in order to establish a competency-based general education curriculum. Under the new curriculum, all requirement subjects are completely matched with key competencies of H university. It also includes newly opened courses and subject areas such as "Social Service" and "Global Citizenship." Through these changes, H university hopes that its general education contributes to fostering students equipped with key competencies, who can face actively this challenging period.

In the society where the paradigm of knowledge is rapidly changing and developing, convergence emphasizing the connection between knowledge and technology in various fields is significant. In order to cultivate these creative-convergent talents, STEAM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) is being considered important to make them equipped with creative thinking ability and core competence required in the future society and help them devise new ideas escaping from the branches of study. This study is about convergence instructional design of computer with marketing subject, which aims to foster talent. The results of this study are as follows. First, the structured process of convergence lessons. Second, the convergence lesson was based on a cyclic process with steps : selection of the subject concerned, selection of a topic, designing the lesson, mapping out the lesson plan and developing problems, having a final discussion on the whole lesson, performing the lesson and evaluating the lesson. Third, the development of the problems about the introduction of computer engineering and Internet marketing subject for convergence lessons. To make an effect of this model, studies applying this instructional design to many lectures should be implemented.

This is the report of a case study to describe the results of applying an evaluation tool for communication ability when performing core basic nursing skills in fundamental nursing practice education. The communication ability evaluation tool was constructed based on a literature review and expert advice. The tool was applied to test 94 students who were taking fundamental nursing practice courses from October to November 2019. As a result, five factors (self-introduction, eye contact, emotional support, information provision, and therapeutic touch) were derived as evaluable items of communication ability to be evaluated when performing core basic nursing skill, and were evaluated when performing core basic nursing skills to measure vital signs. The average communication ability was 3.96 out of 5 points. According to the rubric, 95.8% of all students attained 'medium' and reached their goal achievement level. The findings of this study are meaningful in providing an important basis for improving the performance outcome evaluation process and for constructing a systematic evaluation system in fundamental nursing practicum. Further studies to secure the validity and reliability of this communication ability evaluation tool and comparative studies with various evaluation tools are suggested.

1. 외국어로서의 영어 교육에 있어서 발음 지도는 어느 정도의 영어 수준에 도달하기를 기다릴 필요없이 가능한 한 저학년에서부터 직접 지도되어야 한다. 즉 영어 교육은 영어 발음 교육부터 시작되는 것이 가장 바람직하다. 어느 정도의 수준 높은 문법 이론을 알고 있는 (대)학생들이라도 발음에 관한 한 많은 연습이 요구되는 경우가 흔히 있다. 바꿔 말하면 이러한 학생들은 그들이 갖고 있는 문법 지식만큼 발음에 대한 적극적인 구사력도 당연히 발휘할 수 있어야할 것이다. 영어 교육을 강조할 때 문장 구조와 어휘 교육이 중요시된다면 발음 또한 조기 교육 단계부터 영어 교육 프로그램의 필수불가결한 요소로 인식되어야 한다. 그렇다면 제일 처음 무엇을 어떻게 시작 해야할 것인가\ulcorner 흔히 음소(phoneme)라는 말의 최소 단위부터 시작하여 자음군(consonant cluster)과 같은 음 결합체를 가르친 다음 단어 강세(word stress)를 다루며, 마지막으로 문장 강세(sentence stress), 리듬(rhythm), 억양(intonation) 등을 포함함 이음말(connected speech)을 가르치는 순서가 될 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 이러한 방법이 이론상 논리적이긴 하지만 실제로 영어를 외국어로 배우는 우리 학생들에게는 얼마나 효과를 거둘 수 있는지 매우 의심스렵다. 오히려 가장 유익한 순서는 기본 억양 과 같은 적절한 표현과 함께 주어진 화맥 속에서의 의미 있는 문장 강세를 가르치고 그 다음에 그에 수반되는 중요한 소리의 발음을 지적해 주는 것이다. 예를 들면 Give it to him과 같은 구조를 교사가 구두로 제시할 때 단어 하나 하나를 강조한 나머지 너무 천천히 말하게 되면 전체 문장의 발음을 오히려 어렵게 만들어버린다. 중요한 것 은 기본 의사소통에 필요한 부분에 초점을 맞추는 일이다. 개별 단어에 부수되는 문제점은 '보충 지도'(remedial teaching)로 교정이 가능하다. 2. 우리의 초등학교 영어 교육의 현황을 고려할 때 비록 발음 지도가 쉬운 일은 아니지만 미래 지향적 결과를 기대할 때 우선 두 가지를 생각할 수 있다. 첫째로 현재의 교육대학교의 교사양성에 있어서 영어교육의 교과과정을 염두에 두지 않을 수 없다. 1981년도부터 교육대학교가 4년제가 명실공히 영어과로 운영되기는 수년밖에 되지 않는 실정이다. 현재의 교과과정도 현장에서 영어교육을 담당하기에는 불충분할 뿐만 아니라 영어발음에 관한 뚜렷한 과정이 없는 실정이다. 혼히 외국인 강사가 담당하는 이른바 영어회화 시간이 곧 발음 시간도 될 수 있다고 생각하기 쉬우나 이것은 전적으로 별개의 문제이다. 따라서 체계적인 발음 교육을 할 수 있는 교과과정이 되기를 바란다. 3. 앞에서 언급했듯이 4년제 이전에 졸업한 현직 교사들은 재학 중 영어 발음에 관한 지도를 받아본 적이 없다. 여기서 중요한 것은 이들 교사들에게 적절하고도 충분한 발음 교육을 시켜야 하는 연수 과정이다. 소리로 듣고 말해야 하는 초둥 영어 교육에 서 교사의 발음에 관한 지식은 그 중요성을 아무리 과대평가해도 지나치지 않을 것이다. 문제는 연수 내용이다. 적어도 현재까지 실시되어 온 초둥영어교육 담당자 연수 교과목 내용은 핵심을 찾기 힘들 정도로 교파목이 다양하고 산만하다. 따라서 예를 들면 영어발음 지도에 관한 과목도 마지못해 끼워 넣는 식의 과목 배정이다. 여기에 고작 할당된 시간은 많아야 4시간 정도이다. 대학에서 한 학기에도 부족한 영어 발음을 아 무런 배경 지식도 없는 초등 교사들에게 4시간 동안 무엇을 어떻게 가르칠 것인가\ulcorner

The study conducted Comparative Analysis on the difference of College Scholastic Ability Data divided by type of admission process through the mileage program. Analysis result in following sequence. Leadership and relationships : CSAT(CSAT) > TOSR(subject), CSAT(CSAT+TOSR) is lower than each types ; mainly TOSR(total), TOSR(subject), CSAT(CSAT). Global : CSAT(CSAT+TOSR) & CSAT(CSAT) is higher than mainly TOSR(total) & TOSR(subject). Career and job search : TOSR(total) & TOSR(subject) is higher than mainly CSAT(CSAT+TOSR). Sum of mileage score : CSAT(CSAT) is higher than TOSR(subject) & CSAT(CSAT). Given this as a result, If you look simply at the activities of joint participation of leadership and relationships, student of mainly TOSR(total) admission do well college life with existing research. Overseas marketing before the conclusion of a contract is a huge obstacle to enter the global market because it has needed the company's maximum capacities which are some cost, time and human resources. Thus it required a reestablishment about the education fields and research schemes. Due to the advancements in ICT and internet, a subject of e-trade is becoming a critical issue with a subject of a practice of international trade. However, since the mid-2000s, e-trade research articles and educational materials such as textbooks, research papers are being gradually reduced. Therefore the purpose of this study, from an oversea marketing point of view among the various e-trade fields, is to measure an education performance and an academic research scheme. And this study will suggest direction of improvement about research scheme and educational performance in the overseas marketing. According to the result, to establish the education and research scheme about SEM(Search Engine Marketing), SEO(Search Engine Optimization) and SNA(Social Network Analysis) which are introduced in the industry among the education and research field related the e-trade is urgent. And some subjects need a capstone-design reconcile theory and practice.
