해상상태별 2차원 문풀내 유동 특성에 관한 연구

  • 문풀은 해저케이블선, 해저탐사선, 생산용 부선, 드릴쉽과 같은 여러 종류의 선박에 설비되어 해상에서 각 작업에 필요한 장비의 진수 및 작업공간으로 활용되고 있다. 이러한 문풀내 자유수면의 유동은 정수중 부유체의 이동으로 인한 것과 작업중인 부유체에 작용하는 입사파에 의해 기인하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 입사파에 의한 문풀내 유동 특성을 분석하기 위하여 다양한 해상상태, 즉 서로 다른 파고와 파장에서의 자유수면의 변화와 문풀에 작용하는 유체력 계산을 CFD에 의하여 수행하였다. 수치 계산 결과 문풀내 수면 상승 및 유체력은 파고 및 파장에 의해 크게 영향을 받고 이것은 보오텍스와 같은 비선형 현상에 의한 것임을 확인할 수 있었다.

Suppression of Swell Effect in 3.5KHz Subbottom Profiler Data (3.5KHz 천부지층탐사자료의 너울영향제거)

  • 3.5KHz subbottom profiling systems are useful for delineating of shallow (up to 10~100m below the sea bottom) geological structure. These systems are generally used to image geological structures with less than 1m of vertical resolution. However swell in the sea is quite often higher than 1m, causing degradation in the quality of the 3.5KHz subbottom profiles. In this paper, we show the quality of digitally recorded data can be enhanced by the suppression of swell effect. Prior to suppression of swell effect, sea bottom detection procedure was applied using the characteristics that the amplitude of sea bottom reflection is high. To suppress the swell effect, we applied moving average method and high-cut filtering method using the extracted water depth of adjacent traces. Acceptable results were obtained from both methods. In the case of bad quality data or shallow data interfered with direct wave, the suppression of swell effect is difficult due to incorrect sea bottom detection.

  • Submarine optical fiber cable construction consists of marine survey, PLGR(Pre Lay Grapnel Run), shore-end-work, laying the submarine optical cable. This PLGR is work to ease the cable lay safely in seabed, improve the performance of Plough and ROV (Remotely-Operated Vehicle) laying work, and protect laying equipment. This paper presents the design and implementation of real-time monitoring system for PLGR work in submarine optical fiber cable construction enterprise. In this paper, we designe overall real-time monitoring system. For this purpose, the modules such as serial multiport communication module, real-time processing module, environment configuration module, real-time graph and a printout modules are designed and implemented. For the validity evaluation of this paper, serial multi port communication module, data parsing, realtime graph output are implemented and tested.

  • Subsea tunnel built in abyssal zone is exposed to environment under high water pressure caused by seawater and etc., and this high pressure from underground water may facilitate leaching. In particular, since underground water can be easily flown in during construction, this might cause many problems related to cutoff water. Therefore, in order to secure safety, it is necessary to apply grouting equipment and materials which are appropriate to construction environment. Accordingly, in this research, evaluation was made on the physical characteristics of grouting materials (strength, leaching and etc. depending on curing methods for each of used materials and condition) which can be applied during subsea tunnel construction. As a result of this research, stable strength increase was found in CA and CSA type, and it is determined that no decrease in their durability was found, so these can be used as stable materials for structures under influenced by seawater.

  • Since the hydraulic fracturing field testing method was introduced first to Korean geotechnical engineers in 1994, there have been lots of progresses in a hardware system as well as an interpretation tool. The hydrofracturing system of first generation was the pipe-line type, so it was not easy to handle. It had been modified to a wire-line system at their second generation. It was more compact one but it also needed an additional air-compressor. Our current system is much more compact and operated by all-in-one system, so it doesn't need an additional air-compressor. With a progress in a hardware system, the software for analyzing the in-situ stress regime has also been progressed. For example, the shut-in pressure, which is the most ambiguous parameter to be obtained from hydrofracturing pressure curves, can now be acquired automatically from the various methods. While the hardware and software for hydrofracturing tests are being developed during the last decade, the author could accumulate the field test results which can cover the almost whole area of South Korea. Currently these field data are used widely in a feasibility study or a preliminary design step for tunnel construction in Korea. Regarding the difficulties in a site selection and a test performance for the in-situ stress measurement at an off-shore area, the in-situ stress regime obtained from the field experiences in the land area can be used indirectly for the design of a sub-sea tunnel. From the hydrofracturing stress measurements, the trend of magnitude and direction of in-situ stress field was shown identically with the geological information in Korea.

  • 최근 통신 시장은 전례없는 변화를 맞이하고 있다. 많은 신생 사업자들이 사라지며 기존 종합 통신 사업자들 역시 심각한 재정상의 어려움을 맞이하고 있으며 장비의 가격은 2년 동안 거의 40% 정도의 가격 하락이 있었다. 따라서 앞으로 모든 통신 사업자들에게는 검증된 비즈니스 모델, 안정적인 기술 그리고 신뢰할 수 있는 공급업체 선택이 가장 중요한 요소가 될 것이다.

  • 개인의 여가시간과 소득수준이 높아짐에 따라 해양 레저스포츠 활동이 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 그중 스쿠버 다이빙에 대한 관심과 참여도 계속 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 하지만 스쿠버 다이빙은 물속에서 이루어지는 운동이므로 움직임에 제약이 크고 생명의 위험성이 높다. 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위해 가상으로 스쿠버 다이빙을 체험해 볼 수 있는 시뮬레이터가 필요하지만 이를 위한 체감형 수중 인터페이스에 대한 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 스쿠버 다이빙 시뮬레이터를 제작하기 위해 해저 가상공간과 스쿠버 다이빙을 하드웨어 장비의 상호작용 인터페이스를 설계하였다. 제안방법은 스쿠버 다이빙에 사용되는 실제장비를 가상현실 시스템에 연동시킴으로서 체감형 스쿠버 다이빙 시뮬레이터의 현실감을 높일 수 있을 것이다.

  • Although the ocean observation and exploration equipment is necessary for the oceanographical observation and strengthening influence of the nation and the resource preemption, it depended on the oversees adoption rather than the domestic development. The MBESs were developed for seabed topography, sedimentary distribution information and underwater objects exploration, but there is no domestic production. So in this research we try the localization of the marine acoustic sounder. Especially about correcting the error occurred on the hardware, we confirmed it on software.

  • According to the research result of existing regarding the seabed organic sediment, contamination it flows from the land and the sea become the enemy in the coastal water. It was caused with the summer season water temperature rise and dispersing recall respect advancement. Phosphorus which is a main reason of red tide actual condition came to reveal vast quantity with the facts that it gushes. Specially, in the case of the coastal closing waters and the nursery, as the corpse and the fresh fish washing veterinarian was imbrued, it is the actual condition where is more deepened. Consequently the development of shallow layer dredging method of that suction power which is stabilized is demanded to be able to dredge only the sediment layer which has not become the pressure and is a main reason of being imbrued. The dredging methods using the pressure difference minimize the suction of the seabed sediment. This method is stable that suction power which occurs from guard difference of the guard and the guard of the dredging system inland water. That's why it is possible to sort dredging of the organic sediment ranging in upper layer sediment and it will be able to expect the minimization of dredging quantity. Increase of the expense that it followsin orthocenter with the fact will not grow. Because the pressure difference of the dredger inland water is occurred by the suction power. Maintenance administrative costs are reduced, because the one of smallest dredging system maneuvers and the barge which affixes an integrated operation system is mainly in a resting. To reduce a dredging hour, it will be able to solve in the condensed water as operating the jar guard post.

  • The demand for subsea cables and pipelines that transfer marine energy resources onshore has recently increased. Laying these underground after trenching is one engineering method to stabilize exposed subsea cables and pipelines. This experimental study found the optimum conditions for operating two types of waterjet arms mounted on an ROV trencher. A waterjet arm for trenching the seabed was scaled down at a ratio of 1:6, and a comparative analysis was conducted using diverse parameters. The results of this research provide a practical fundamental database to assist in making decisions about the ROV trencher performance in advance.
