소연방해체이후 구소련의 해운회사는 각 해당 공화국에 소속되어 운영되기 시작하였다. 흑해해운회사는 우크라이나에 소속되어 우크라이나 경제의 민영화과정과 재정비 계획에 따라 콘쩨른 형태의 기업으로 바뀌었다. 이 회사는 1993년에 민영화과정의 첫 번째 단계인 법인화 형태의 과정을 완료하였으나, 민영화과정의 두 번째 단계인 주식매각의 과정은 1994년 3월 우크라이나 의회가 민영화 계획의 인준을 거부함에 따라 중단되었다. 이 연구는 이러한 상황하에서 흑해해운회사가 당면하고 있는 주요한 문제를 파악하고 그 문제를 해결하기 위한 몇가지의 제안을 한 뒤, 그 회사의 전망을 살펴보고자 한다. 이 연구는 사실발견법과 현장조사와 면접법을 통하여 수행되었다.

In the modern economic context, it is apparent that there is a strong focus on the importance of global shipping industry. Recently, the world economic crisis has negatively influenced the industry with regard to both supply and demand, which has seen almost no sign of recovery. The fact that the entire industry is operating with low efficiency and at a low profit state has made all stakeholders anxious. This research examines the financial performance of the world's major shipping lines in order to give maritime stakeholders a closer look into the industry behind the ranking. Besides, the research evaluates the competitiveness of shipping companies in terms of financial ability and suggestions for strategic actions to stakeholders are provided. For these purposes, Fuzzy-C Means is used to cluster the selected lines into different groups based on their financial indices, namely liquidity, asset management, debt management and profitability. Levene's tests which are then followed by ANOVA tests are also utilized to assess the robustness of the clustering outcomes. The results indicate that liquidity, solvency and profitability act as the main criteria in the classification problem.

Through the study of precedent researches, this study classified the influential factors of knowledge sharing intention into the support of CEO, self-worth, trust, and incentive. Then, this study conducted a survey among the workers, who are in maritime and port sectors, to illuminate how the forementioned variables influence on the knowledge sharing intention and the usage of knowledge management system The analysis of the result illustrated that the support of CEO, self-worth, trust appeared to be the influential factors of knowledge sharing intention, and that incentive and the knowledge sharing intention appeared to influence the usage of knowledge management system. This study aims to contribute to proposing a successful forthcoming implementation of a knowledge management system, by suggesting the influential factors to increase its usage to the maritime and port organizations planning to implement it before they actually installs it.

The purpose of this study was to extract and evaluate the factors to improve the quality of shipping logistics platform suggested as an alternative to the stagnant shipping logistics industry. For this, we selected factors through previous research and expert interviews, and conducted surveys on carriers, forwarders, shippers, and platform operators with experience using shipping logistics platforms. As a method of analysis, quality evaluation of the shipping logistics platform was conducted using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). The results of this study are as follows "Competitiveness of services provided", "Connectivity with other transportation mode", "Competitiveness of freight", "Transparency of freight", and "Stability of booking space". For the shipping logistics platform to be activated in the future, priority should be given to focusing on these factors. This study has academic significance for establishing configuration function of shipping logistics platform and deriving evaluation factor. Additionally it is an industrial significance for suggesting strategies to improve users' participation in the shipping logistics platform.

This study analyzes the achievement of the shipping policies and the priority for the promotion of such policies, in order to consider the features of the shipping industries in Korea and other advanced shipping countries and manage the rapidly changing shipping environment actively. Based on such analysis, this study also discusses the promotional strategy to strengthen the international competitiveness of the shipping industry. Regarding the promotion of the related policies, it is necessary to establish a base for growth, strengthen a capacity of leading the market, and create an opportunity in the market. By considering such three factors, it has become known that the establishment of the market order is important for the establishment of a base for growth. It is important to consider the advancement of the shipping tax system. Also, the information-orientation and the knowledge-industrialization of the shipping industry need to be considered. In order to strengthen a capacity of leading the market, the stable security of the labor force in the shipping industry is the most important factor. Also, it is important to consider the development and the upbringing of the global mega career and the shipping business. Regarding the creation of an opportunity in the market, it is important to expand the range of the shipping exchange between South Korea and North Korea, which will influence the administrative and the operative results related with the promotion of the related policies.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the shipping industry real economy index on the stock prices of domestic shipping companies. The parameters used in this analysis were the stock price of H Company in South Korea and shipping industry real economy indices including BDI, CCFI and HRCI. The period analysis was from 2012 to 2015. The weekly data for four years of the stock price index of shipping companies, BDI, CCFI, and HRCI were used. The effects of CCFI and HRCI on the stock price index of domestic shipping companies were analyzed using the VAR model, and the effects of BDI on the stock price index of domestic shipping companies were analyzed using the VECM model. The VAR model analysis results showed that CCFI and HRCI had negative effects on the stock price index, and the VECM model analysis results showed that BDI also had a negative effect on the stock price index.

The mutual risk management in port is really important for operating the enterprise between container terminals who provide port service and shipping liners who use the port service. This study is performed to contribute to obtain the competitive power of domestic shipping and harbor industry by getting solution of mutual risk management which can make Win-Win strategy on each other as an alternative idea. We suggested two kinds of management models to promote common benefits between container terminals and shipping liners. It is necessary to push positive support and cooperation from government and belonging related organizations for activating the Gwangyang port. In this study, we presented the efficient method to manage mutual risks between container terminals and shipping liners.
