The Study on Assessment of Roughness Coefficient for Designing Wind Farm in Jeju Island (제주도 풍력발전단지 설계를 위한 조도계수 산정에 대한 연구)

  • The variation in the wind speed with height above ground is called the wind shear profile. In the field of wind resource assessment, analysts typically use one of two mathematical relations to characterize the measured wind shear profile: the logarithmic profile (log law) and the power law profile (power law). The logarithmic law uses the surface roughness as a parameter, and the power law uses the power law exponent as a parameter. The shape of the wind shear profile typically depends on several factors, most notably the roughness of the surrounding terrain and the stability of the atmosphere. Since the atmospheric stability changes with season, time of day, and meteorological conditions, the surface roughness and the power law exponent also tends to change in time. For this study, Using the observed data from Met-mast, located in Pyeongdae, Handong in Jeju. we used the matlab and windograper to calculate roughness length and the law exponents. These calculations are similar to reference the data, but they have different ranges. In the ocean case, each reference data and calculated data was the same, but the crop area is higher than the earlier studies. In addition, the agricultural village is lower than the earlier studies.

  • 한국 최초의 벼 재배지이고 농경문화의 근원지인 김포시는 경기도 북서부지역에 위치하고 있다. 북쪽과 동쪽으로 한강을 사이에 두고 있고 강화만 및 한강 하구부 염하 등이 3면을 둘러싸여 있어 김포반도라 한다. 서쪽에 문수산(376m), 장릉산(150m), 수안산(147m) 등의 낮은 산들이 소구릉지를 이루고 있으며 한강에 의한 토사의 운반 퇴적으로 이루어져 농경에 적합한 김포평야를 이룬다. 이런 특징을 갖고 있는 김포지역 향토자원 조사를 위하여 고문헌, 군지, 학술지 등의 자료를 통해 총 563종의 향토자원 목록을 정리하였다. 향토자원의 유형분류를 해보면 인물 193종(34.3%), 자연생태환경 140종(24.9%), 유물유적 136종(24.2%), 민속풍속 79종(14.0%), 전통식품 특산품 15종(2.7%)의 비율로 나타났다. 이 중 활용성이 있는 것으로 판단되는 자원을 지역 전문가 협의회를 통해 1차 선발 평가하여 기본조사를 실시하였고, 향토자원의 가치, 산업화 가능성 평가를 통해 2차 심층조사 대상을 선정하였다. 김포시 향토자원 목록 총 563종 중, 179종이 기본조사 자원으로 선정되어 기본조사를 실시한 결과, 설화 전설자원이 34종(19.0%), 전통제전 자원이 19종(10.6%), 유적사적지와 건축자원이 각 18종(10.1%), 수변 및 해양자원 자원이 15종(8.4%), 조각 자원이 15종(8.4%), 마을자원이 10종(5.6%) 등으로 나타났다. 각 자원의 명칭을 보면 설화 전설은 선돌이 전설, 김삿갓의 일화, 형제투금, 애기봉전설 등이었고, 전통제전은 김포통진두레놀이, 손돌공 진혼제, 대명리 풍어제 등의 자원이, 유적사적지는 덕포진(사적 제292호), 수안산성(지방기념물 제159호), 장릉(사적 제202호) 등으로 조사되었는데, 특히 지석묘의 분포가 많았다. 기본조사 자원을 대상으로 지역전문가 2차 협의회를 통해 향토자원의 가치, 산업화 가능성 등을 평가하여 53종을 선정하였고, 유물유적 24종(45.3%), 민속풍속 12종(22.6%), 자연 생태환경 10종(18.9%), 전통식품 특산품 4종(7.5%), 인물 3종(5.7%) 비율로 나타났다. 향토자원 산업화는 생산물 품질고급화나 농산물 가공분야가 점차 감소하고 천연염색 공예, 관광, 문화상품 등으로 다각화되고 있으므로 김포시의 농촌문화와 전통지식기술자원이 지자체와 지역주민들에 의해 활성화되기를 기대한다.

  • Regard to the global warming, the shipping industries are progressed the dedicated endeavor to reduce greenhouse gas. As the study results of 2009 GHG study team, the $CO_2$ emission of shipping industries exceeded slightly 1.0 billion ton during one year(2007) and it is 3.3% of total $CO_2$ amount exhausted from all industries. This paper are introduced the energy efficiency design index / operation indicator monitoring system(EDiMS) which matched with EVAMOS software released by the dynamics laboratory of Mokpo maritime university. EDiMS can continuously be monitored amounts of $CO_2$, NOx, SOx, and PM emitted from ship and it can be applied as the useful tool of the inventory work of air pollution and the ship energy management plan for the mitigation or reduction of ship emission.

Estimation of Geomorphologic Change in Saemangum Tidal Flat by Remote Sensing (원격탐사를 이용한 새만금 조간대의 지형변화 연구)

  • 위성영상을 이용한 새만금 지역의 DEM생성을 위하여 waterline method를 사용하였으며, 총 13개의 Landsat thematic mapper (TM) 위성영상 자료를 이용하여 1991년과 2000년 기준의 DEM을 생성하였다. 현장 수준측량 자료를 이용하여 생성된 DEM의 정밀도 검증을 실시하였으며, 2002년 3월에 100m 간격으로 측정된 실측자료를 이용하였다. 해안선 추출은 density slicing 방법을 사용하였으며, 사용된 밴드는 육지의 경계를 구분하는데 많이 쓰이는 밴드 4번, 5번 및 6번 밴드를 선택적으로 사용하였다. 절대고도 값의 대입을 위하여 waterline 추출에 사용된 위성영상의 획득 시간에 대해 해양조사원의 10분 간격 실측 조위를 사용하였으며, 추출된 13개 waterline의 최저 조위는 58cm 이고 최고 조위는 537cm 이다. 추출된 해안선에 수준측량 자료를 이용하여 검증한 결과 RMS 오차 9.91 cm, 표준편차 9.78 cm의 정밀도를 갖는 2000년도 DEM을 생성하였다. 새만금 지역의 waterline 추출 과정에서 만경강과 동진강 하구 지역은 강에 의한 에너지의 유입, 유출로 인한 변화가 심하여 두 지역을 DEM 생성에서 제외하였다. 이렇게 생성된 과거(19991년도) DEM과 현재(2000년도) DEM을 이용한 지형변화 비교는 두DEM 차이로 9년간의 새만금 조간대 변화를 계산하였다. 군산공항지역의 지형변화는 거의 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 새만금 방조제가 건설된 이후 개화도 주변지역의 변화가 가장 두드러진 지형적 변화로서 방조제 입ㆍ출구 지역은 빠른 유속에 의해서 과거에 비해 침식이 우세하며, 방조제에서 육지로 갈수록 퇴적이 우세한 것으로 관측되었다.보체계의 구축사업의 시각이 행정정보화, 생활정보화, 산업정보화 등 다양한 분야와 결합하여 보다 큰 시너지 효과와 사용자 중심의 서비스 개선을 창출할 수 있는 기반을 제공할 것을 기대해 본다.. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, ${\beta}$-glucan은 고용량일 때 직접적으로 또는 $IFN-{\gamma}$ 존재시에는 저용량에서도 복강 큰 포식세로를 활성화시킬 뿐 아니라, 탐식효율도 높임으로써 면역기능을 증진 시키는 것으로 나타났고, 그 효과는 crude ${\beta}$-glucan의 추출조건에 따라 달라지는 것을 알 수 있었다.eveloped.   • Jack-up drilling rigs are widely used in offshore oil and gas exploration industry. It is originally designed for use in the shallow waters less than 60m of water depth; there is growing demand for their use in deeper water depth over 150m and harsher environmental conditions. In this study, global in-place analysis of jack-up rig leg for North-sea oil well is performed through numerical analysis. Firstly, environmental conditions and seabed characteristics at the North-sea are collected and investigated measurements from survey report. Based on these data, design specifications are established and the overall basic design is performed. Dynamic characteristics of the jack-up rig for North-sea are considered in the global in-place analysis both leg and hull and the basic stability against overturning moment is also analyzed. The structural integrity of the jack-up rig leg/hull is verified through the code checks and the adequate safety margin is observed. The uncertainty in jack-up behaviour is greatly influenced by the uncertainties in the soil characteristics that determine the resistance of the foundation to the forces imposed by the jack-up structure. Among the risks above mentioned, the punch-through during pre-loading is the most frequently encountered foundation problem for jack-up rigs. The objective of this paper is to clarify the detailed structure and installation engineering matters for prove the structural safety of jack-up rigs during operation. With this intention the following items are addressed; - Characteristics of structural behavior considering soil effect against environmental loads - Modes of failure and related pre-loading procedure and parameters - Typical results of structural engineering and verification by actual measurement.

  • Side scan sonar and SBP (sub-bottom profiler) play a very important role in the survey for seafloor imaging and sub-bottom profiling. In this study, we have acquired side scan sonar and SBP data from the artificial reef area. We applied digital image processing techniques to side scan sonar data in order to improve an image quality. For the enhancement of data quality and image resolution, we applied the typical seismic data processing sequence including gain recovery, muting, spectrum analysis, predictive deconvolution, migration to SBP data. We could easily estimate if artificial reef structures were settled properly and their distribution on the seafloor from the integrated interpretation of side scan sonar and SBP data. From the sampling analysis of seabed sediments, texture filtering of side scan sonar data and SBP data interpretation, we could evaluate the sediment type, distribution and thickness of seafloor sediments in detail.

  • In almost industries, such as the logistics industry, marine fisheries, agriculture, industry, and services, small unmanned aerial vehicles are used for aerial photographing or closing flight in areas where human access is difficult or CCTV is not installed. Also, based on the information of small unmanned aerial photographing, application research is actively carried out to efficiently perform surveillance, control, or management. In order to carry out tasks in a mission-based manner in which the set tasks are assigned and the tasks are automatically performed, the small unmanned aerial vehicles must not only fly steadily but also be able to charge the energy periodically, In addition, the unmanned aircraft need to land automatically and precisely at certain points after the end of the mission. In order to accomplish this, an automatic precision landing method that leads landing by continuously detecting and recognizing a marker located at a landing point from a video shot of a small UAV is required. In this paper, it is shown that accurate and stable automatic landing is possible even if simple template matching technique is applied without using various recognition methods that require high specification in using low cost general purpose small unmanned aerial vehicle. Through simulation and actual experiments, the results show that the proposed method will be made good use of industrial fields.

Standard Configuration for Interface of the Traffic Information Service using DSRC (DSRC를 이용한 교통정보서비스 인터페이스 표준 구성)

  • Recently, a number of OBU(On Board Unit) have being spreaded since ETCS(Electronic Toll Collection System)using DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) was installed in the tollgate of the whole country. Many R&D and commercialization related to ITS service using DSRC and OBU mentioned above are ongoing such as traffic information collection and provision and a signal control, and public traffic information and management and so on. Especially, there are many researches conducted(conducting) on traffic information collection and provision using communication between OBU and RSE. However, Standards for both DSRC application and traffic collection and provision are not established clearly yet. So we would like to suggest a method of traffic information collection and provision without changing of standard related to DSRC. This method is to put the traffic messages into the existing Action primitive for ETC, which is described on "Technical criterion IV of basic traffic information exchange" which was notified by Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. Proposed standard application method is applied both to RSE and OBE. It is the same system which ETCS used in highway, currently. We confirmed the efficiency and performance of the system through conducting a variety of driving test using 4 vehicles in real road condition. Result of the real road test shows the effectiveness and validity of this method with about 97% communication success rate and based on studying the cases of 3% communication failure, we can analyse the expected problems in traffic information collection and provision using this method.

Study on the Manufacturing of Leather-like Material using Leather and Textile Scrap (피혁 및 섬유 제조공정 폐기물을 활용한 피혁 대체 소재의 제조에 관한 연구)

  • Treatment of shaving scrap, a chrome containing solid scrap generated by leather manufacturing process, has been so far depended on mainly incineration, soil landfill and ocean dumping, which give bad impact on environment and cause pollution. Shaving scrap generates from the mechanical work for controlling the final thickness of leather and its main components are collagen protein and pan of chromium compound. For the purpose of reusing this leather waste as resources, researches in connection with collagen fiber recovery, gelable protein recovery and liquid fertilizer is being speedily progressed. In the experiment, shaving scrap went through wet pulverizing treatment by physical and chemical methods. Then, making the leather sheet evenly, it is mixed with natural latex and every kind of binding materials in the container, and the mixtures were passed through experimental hydraulic press machine and applied to Fourdrinier machine respectively. Lastly, a test for fading out physical strength and properties of multiple-purpose of leather-like material was performed on a continuous leather sheet prepared by the experiment. In result, the physical strength and properties of leather-like material showed noticeable differences according to mixing ratio of binding materials, beating methods and the Ends of binding materials selected, and generally tear strength was the weakest property among others. Also, by the pilot scale experiment in sequence, it was possible to manufacture recycled goods made of soft and hard types of leather-like material with various performances.

Antibiotic Resistance and Plasmid Profile of Vibrio parahaemolyticus Strains Isolated from Kyunggi-Incheon Coastal Area (경기인천 연안에서 분리된 장염비브리오균의 항생제 내성 및 플라스미드 보유 현황)

  • Vibrio parahaemolyticus is one of the major agents responsible for food poisoning during summer in Korea, which is transmitted via seawater or seafoods. Recently, distribution of the bacteria in the marine environment has been increased due to global warming. Great concern also has been raised regarding public hygiene as well as marine culture by the emergence of pathogens with antibiotic resistance. Therefore, distribution of V. parahaemolyticus and antibiotic resistance of the isolates were monitored in 7 coastal areas of Kyonggi Province and Incheon by sampling seawater, fishes and clams monthly. V. parahaemolyticus was detected from 47.7% of 966 samples (seawater 61.9%, seafoods 41.8%) analyzed using $CHROMagar^{TM}$ and TCBS agar plates as well as multiplex PCR. Among 13 antibiotics tested, resistance to vancomycin and ampicillin was observed in 97.3% and 87.3% of the isolates, respectively, and the ratios of them resistant to cephalothin (48.8%) and rifampin (46.1%) were also high. The isolates were most highly sensitive to chloramphenicol (91.7%) and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (91.8%). The ratio of sensitivity for other antibiotics was also high in the descending order of gentamycin (82.3%), tobramycin (74.8%), nalidixic acid (71.6%), tetracyclin (69.4%), cefotaxime (63.0%). About 69% of the isolates showed multiple drug resistance toward 3 antibiotics including vancomycin and ampicillin. Two of them exhibited resistance for 11 antibiotics used in this study. Plasmid profile analysis of the isolates with antibiotic resistance revealed that 55.1% of them retained plasmids of 24 different types. However, no clear inter-relationship between the resistance and the plasmid profile has been observed.
