실시간 위성 시계 이상 감지 시스템 구축

  • 위성항법시스템에서 위성 신호의 이상 발생 시 신속하게 위성시계의 고장 유무를 판단할 수 있도록 실시간 위성 시계 이상감지 시스템을 구축하였다. 위성 시계는 시스템 성능에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 핵심 요소로서 고장이나 이상 발생 시 측정치에 매우 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 특정 위성 시계에 고장이나 이상이 발생한 경우 사용자들이 해당 위성의 측정치를 사용하지 않도록 가능한 빨리 이를 감지하고 공지할 수 있어야 한다. 현재 GPS의 경우 시스템 자체만으로는 위성 상태 정보가 적절한 시간 내에 제공되지 못하므로, 사용자가 직접 위성 신호의 사용 유무를 판단할 수 있는 위성 상태 감시 기능이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 위성 시계 이상 발생 시 이를 실시간으로 감지할 수 있도록 한국항공우주연구에서 구축한 실시간 위성 시계 이상 감지 시스템에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 시스템 구현을 위해 적용한 방법은 크게 세 단계로 나뉠 수 있다. 첫 번째, 실시간으로 수신한 GPS 이중 주파수 측정치로부터 반송파 스무딩 필터를 적용하여 위성 시계 바이어스를 추정한다. 두 번째, 위성 위치 및 시계 정보의 실시간 적용을 위해 항법력보다 성능이 뛰어난 IGS Ultra-rapid 예측 정보를 활용한다. 마지막으로 위성시계 바이어스 추정치와 예측치를 비교하여 시계 이상 유무를 판별한다. 실제 위성 시계 이상이 발생한 위성의 측정치를 적용하여 시스템에 대한 검증시험을 수행하였고, 10 나노 초 수준의 위성 시계도약 현상이 발생한 위성의 감지를 통해 시스템의 성능을 확인하였다. 이는 항공항법분야와 같이 고성능의 위치 정보를 요구하는 응용분야에 신뢰성 있는 위성 정보 제공을 위해 활용될 수 있다.

A Study on the Effects and the Countermeasure of Sea Surface Reflection Waves in Pseudolite Navigation Systems (의사위성 항법시스템에서의 해수면 반사파가 미치는 영향 분석 및 대처방안에 대한 연구)

  • The effects of reflected wave of the sea on pseudolite ranging accuracy are analysed in this paper, when a pseudolite navigation system is used for wide area outdoor applications such as aircraft and vessels positioning. Methods for minimizing the influence of sea surface reflection wave were proposed. The methods include the appropriate correlator in pseudolite navigation system through the correlation performance comparison analysis in receiver design, the use of the technology of multiple antennas, and locating the transmitting station antenna on an appropriate position. From the results of experiments, the method of locating the antenna position shows the most reliable performance against the effect of surface reflection wave. The analysis results of the ranging accuracy improvement are addressed, when the multipath caused by sea surface reflection exists.

  • Against Anomaly of GPS, there are several projects of independent satellite navigation systems like Galileo of Europe and QZSS of Japan and modernization of terrestrial navigation system like Loran. In domestic, the need of independent navigation system was proposed and DGPS signal was nominated as the possible substitute. The DGPS signal uses medium frequency, which travels through the surface and cause the additional delay rather than the speed of light according to Conductivities and elevations of the irregular terrain. The similar approach is Locan-C. Loran-C has been widely used as the maritime location system. Loran-C uses the ASF estimation method and provides more precise positioning. However there was rarely research on this area in Korea Therefore, we introduce the legacy guaranteed model of additional delay(ASF) and present the results of implementation. With the comparison of the original Monteath results and BALOR results respectively, we guarantee that the implementation is absolutely perfect. For further works, we're going to apply the ASF estimation model to Korean DGPS system with the Korean terrain data.

  • This paper introduces a MATLAB graphical user interface (GUI) based software for performance analysis of navigation message and wide area differential correction of regional navigation satellite system (RNSS). This software was developed to analyze satellite orbit/clock-related performance of navigation message and wide area differential correction simulating RNSS for regions near Korea based on different distributions of monitor and reference stations. As a result of software operation, navigation message and wide area differential correction are given as output in MATLAB file format. From the analysis of output, it was confirmed that valid navigation message and wide area differential correction could be generated from the results about statistical feature of orbit and clock prediction errors, cm-level fitting errors for navigation message parameters, and 81.9% enhancement in range error for wide area differential correction.

  • Loran-C of ground transmitting station base that can prevent confusion of country navigation system and give BACK-UP function about electric wave navigation comparing utilization incapability state about GPS(Global Positioning System) infra that user is spreading rapidly over our society whole such as sea/aviation safety, vehicles navigation, minuteness agriculture, minuteness measurement in this treatise practical use of Loran-C navigation propose. Executed ASF(Additional Secondary Phase Factor) production and an application experiment Loran-C by location error improvement way to enhance practical use value. By the result Loran-C in conclusion that can improve location error 100~400m remarkably by 10~65m reach. Also, production extent is latitude when go composition medium and bends cotton at ASF revision table utilization of land area, this smell is judged to be suitable hardness 10 minutes. And notable location error improvement and numeric of GPS BACK-UP function are judged to be possible at a ASF revision table application to Korea Peninsula whole area hereafter.

Design of INS Simulated Equipment for Evaluation of Enhanced Jamming Resistance of INS-aided GPS Receivers (위성항법장치의 재밍대응 성능향상 검증을 위한 관성항법장치 모의 장치 설계)

  • We propose the design of an INS simulated equipment to evaluate the enhanced jamming resistance of an INS-aided GPS receiver with INS, when a jamming signal is injected into a simulated high dynamic platform. We propose the design of a relative cheap INS simulated equipment, instead of an expensive INS simulator connected to GPS simulators. Based on the design, we implement the equipment and setup high dynamic test environment using the equipment to evaluate an INS-aided GPS receiver. In the GPS L1 C/A and L2C simulations that inject jamming signals of the narrow and wide bandwidth into the GPS receiver with and without INS-aided algorithm, we obtain increased jamming resistance performance as +5 dB compared with the GPS receiver without INS-aided algorithm in all kinds of jamming bandwidth. Based on the simulations, we verified that the INS simulated equipment can be used to evaluate the enhanced jamming resistance of INS-aided GPS receivers.

  • A GNSS/INS integration system can not provide navigation solutions if there are no available satellites. To overcome this problem, a vision sensor is integrated with this system. Since generally a vision aided integration system uses only feature point to compute navigation solutions, it has a problem in observability. In this case, additional landmarks, which is priory known points, can improve the observability. In this paper, the observability is evaluated using TOM/SOM matrix and Eigenvalues. There are always the observability problems in the feature-point-only case, but the landmark-use case is fully observable after the $2^{nd}$ update time. Consequently the landmarks ensure full observability, so the system performance can be improved.

  • This paper analyzed GNSS signal acquisition performance of a regional navigation receiver when an interference cancellation capability is applied. Intereference between the regional navigation and GNSS signal can be mitigated by the interference cancellation technique such as the successive interference cancellation (SIC) algorithm. However signal acquisition performance will be degraded when jamming-to-signal ratio (J/S) is large due to a cross-correlation properties of residual signals. In this paper we analyzed signal acquisition performance degradation due to the interference between the Kasami and GNSS Gold code signal. Monte Carlo simulation is used for the analysis and compared results with those of GNSS Gold code only condition.

  • 본 연구는 GPS와 노트북 PC를 이용하여 비행경로정보를 얻기 위한 것으로, 이들을 실제 비행기에 장착하여 위치(동경, 북위, 고도), 방위, 속도등의 비행경로정보를 기록하였다. 기록된 자료를 분석한 결과 실제 비행시의 자료들과 일치함을 보였다. GPS와 노트북 PC를 이용한 비행기록장치는 조종훈련생들의 항법교육 및 항법 능력 측정 자료로 이용 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 항법장치의 핵심요소인 가속도센서와 자이로센서는 선형거리추측(Linear position estimation)과 각 변위 추측(orientation estimation)시 출력 데이터에 포함된 오차성분의 적분에 의하여 시간이 증가함에 따라 선형거리 오차와 각 변위 오차가 누적된다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 정밀한 항법을 위한 저가의 IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit)를 설계하고, 오차성분의 사전해석을 통하여 정확한 오차모델을 찾는데 그 목적이 있다.
