The interactions of natural atmospheric electricity with aircraft reveals many flight safety problems. It is estimated that on average, each commercial airplane is struck by lightning more than once each year. Thus the lightning strike to aircarft poses an appreciable threat to flight safety. Upset or damage of electrical and electronics equipment by the induced voltages is defined as indirect effect. The protection of aircraft electronics from the indirect effects of lightning can be accomplished first by determining the specific threats to the aircraft and systems contained within, and second, by designing protection methods to the aircraft components.

ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization) Doc 9803의 국제규정에 의거하여 SMS(Safety Management System-안전관리시스템)의 대표적인 비행안전 모니터링 프로그램으로 인정된 신개념의 운항감사제도인 LOSA(Line Operations Safety Audit-항공운항 안전감사)를 항공사에서 실시하여 정상 운항시의 운항승무원을 관찰하여 실제의 안전취약 및 위협요소, Error를 포착하여 텍사스대학 인적요인 연구소에서 작성한 최종보고서의 분석을 통해 제도와 방안을 개선한다. 본 논문에서는 LOSA실행을 통한 승무원들의 위협 및 error의 유형과 발생율, 관리율 및 관리여부를 분석하여 설명하고 항공사내 개선인 SCP(Safety Change Process)를 소개하는데 있다.

The strengthened aviation security measurements caused by increased terror threat all around the world have air passengers annoyed by uneasy treatment and some delayed process. The service level of air travel and competitiveness of airlines industry has been weakened also. The aviation security process is mainly conducted at an airport. The threat level of airport is not usually same airport to airport, and the quality of aviation security activity is neither same. However, ICAO requires every international airport to conduct similar process to ensure aviation security without considering situational difference of each airport. The paper has objectives to develop reasonable security measurements based on risk management concept. It studied the ways of achieving target level of security of an airport, considering the threat situation of the airport and its ability to conduct security procedures.

급증하고 있는 드론(무인항공기) 분야의 기술 개발과 보급이 활발해지는 효과의 반대급부로서 기존의 유인 항공기 운항의 안전이 위협받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 초경량/소형 드론이 비행하도록 지정된 저고도 공역에 대한 현 제도의 문제를 분석하고 드론의 비행 증가에 따른 항공안전을 확보하기 위한 저고도 공역 재설정을 포함한 공역 제도 개선 방안을 제안한다.

지난 12개월 동안 세계는 일련의 주요한 정치적 변화를 겪어 왔으며, 그것은 국제 방위 및 항공분야에 커다란 영향을 미쳐왔다. 위협의 부재를 고심하던 상황이 이제는 페르시아만 사태로 연결되었으며, 비록 각국 정부가 군에 대한 지출을 감소시킴으로써 재정상의 여유를 찾고자 해도 여전히 존재하고 있는 독재세력들의 위협을 차잔하려면 충분한 병력을 유지할 필요가 있으며, 역외파병이나 신속배치군의 견지에서도 이런 논의가 지지를 받아야 한다. 이러한 경우 헬기는 전략의 핵심부분이 될 것이다
